"Hi, I'm so sorry to disturb you but may I ask if I can share this table with you?"

Chan Gu asked as he flashes one bright smile showing his perfect set of white teeth and cute dimples in his cheeks.

His voice sounds so deep and masculine that he could easily still one's heart away. Partnered with his signature killer smile, anyone would find it hard to turn down his request.

Being one of the school belles, Hae Soo was already used to seeing this kind of action on a daily basis. Countless warlocks have already tried to strike up a conversation with her before using lame tactics just like that.

But no matter how immune she was to this kind of approach, she still can't help but fall to Chan Gu's charisma.

Hae Soo could clearly feel the b.u.t.terflies in her stomach as she looked at Chan Gu who was still standing and was waiting for her response.

"Sure, go ahead. Feel free."

Hae Soo said simply as she took another sip of her tea. She intentionally averted her gaze to avoid Chan Gu's eyes.

What she did instead is she look outside the shop to observe the busy nightlife in Majika's square.

Since the walls of the shop were made of transparent gla.s.s, she could easily see what was happening outside from her where she was sitting.

Sometimes, one could also find it refres.h.i.+ng to just sat at a corner and observe everything around you quietly while enjoying a cup of warm tea or any beverage of your liking.

Chan Gu's palm was sweating profusely as he waited to Hae Soo's response. He was afraid that the other party will turn him down.

But when he saw how the young lady was reacting, he heaved a sigh of relief. From how he sees it, Hae Soo was more likely to be shy rather than upset, and this is good news for him.

At least, with that being said, he believed that it won't pose him any problem in the future if he will decide to start making friends with her.

"Are you waiting for someone? I'm sorry if I am troubling you..."

Chan Gu said after sometime when he noticed that Hae Soo has no intention of starting a conversation with him.

He doesn't want to make their first meeting to be stale and boring so before the atmosphere could even get more awkward, he deliberately made his move.

"Of course not. I was alone by myself. You can use the table as you please. In any case, I will be taking my leave soon, so you can have it all for yourself."

"You were leaving already??? Why???"

Before Chan Gu could even stop himself, he already asks out loud what was on his mind. As a result, Hae Soo was startled.

"Err???"

For some reason, Hae Soo feels like Chan Gu was a little off today. She can't help but feel that Chan Gu seems to want her to stay longer, and she finds it a little weird.

After all, they barely knew each other.

Chan Gu also does not know what exactly had come to his mind when he reacted that way. He was as equally as flabbergasted as Hae Soo was.

"Oh,.. W- wh- what I m- me mean is, you don't have to leave in a hurry. If you are uncomfortable sharing the table with me, I - I c-can leave. This is your spot, to begin with."

Chan Gu was even stuttering when he said that. He feels like the reason why the other party suddenly decided to leave is because of him.

"No, it's not like that. In fact, I would really love to stay with you longer it is just that I really must go now because I still have plans."

"Really? You want to stay with me longer?"

Chan Gu was obviously surprised when he heard Hae Soo's answer. On the other hand,  Hae Soo was blus.h.i.+ng all over up unto the tip of her ears when she realized that she had a slip of tongue at that split second.

She accidentally blurted out the desire of her heart.

'd.a.m.n! I was supposed not to say those words in front of him!'

Hae Soo cursed inside her head.

Right now, she badly wanted to smack that small but troublesome mouth of hers.

Unsure how she could take back those words she said, Hae Soo remain frozen on her sit.

"If it was okay with you, can I also share a table with you next time?"

Chan Gu does not wish to put the young lady on the spot. So rather than continue asking the reason as to why she said that she would also love to stay longer with him, he took the initiative instead.

A meek smile and a slight nod of the head were all that Chan Gu got from Hae Soo as a response. The young lady was already feeling too shy to even utter a single word.

Chan Gu flashed another bright and warm smile to the other party. Which in return sent another batch of b.u.t.terflies inside Hae Soo's stomach.

His smile was so warm that Hae Soo could feel like even her innards were also blus.h.i.+ng. It was as if a hidden mechanism inside her stomach started to churn into action and everything inside was in chaos.

The way Chan Gu looked at her was so tender and at the same time pa.s.sionate. That Hae Soo was even starting to feel like she was an ice cream melting under the scorching gaze of the sun.

She can't even dare to stand up on her feet now because even her legs seem to turn into jelly.

When she thought that Chan Gu was no longer looking at her, Hae Soo lifted her head a little bit. Only to realize that Chan Gu was still looking at her with the same level of intensity as before.

This time, Hae Soo was no longer able to avert her gaze. It was like some sort of magnetic force was drawing her to look straight to Chan Gu's eyes.

Two pairs of eyes met and it was as if at that moment, the world around them suddenly stops. Time seems to freeze and all they can hear was the sound of their own heart beating.

 When they both stared at each other, it was like something struck a chord inside them, creating a beautiful melody that harmonizes their soul.

Since the two of them were sitting opposite to each other and their distance is just a table away, they can easily see each other's face.

It was only this time that Hae Soo got a chance to see and truly observe Chan Gu's eyes. Hae Soo runs out of words when she thinks how she could describe how beautiful Chan Gu's eyes were.

Likewise, Chan Gu was also feeling the same way. He also finds that words were not enough to describe how beautiful Hae Soo. The more he looks at her, the more beautiful she turns out to be.

It was like some compelling power was pulling a string to his heart. Even her voice was music to his ears every time she speaks.

It was so long that Chan Gu was even starting to doubt if Hae Soo's eyes were modeled after the eyes of an ostrich.

Meanwhile, Hae Soo was also observing Chan Gu. His eyes were a shade of gray. Just like the color of the clouds when it was about to rain.

Being stared at by those beautiful gray eyes was so captivating. Hae Soo could even swear that it was the most beautiful pair of eyes that she has ever seen in her entire life.

Going down from the eyes, Hae Soo observed Chan Gu's nose next. It was not too high and pointed, just perfect to match his square face.

He also had a well-defined jawline that further accentuates his manly appearance. He was like a work of art, sculpted into perfection.

Every part of his face compliments one another making it hard to point out any single flaw out of it.

When Hae Soo finally comes to observe Chan Gu's luscious and maddeningly s.e.xy lips, that is the only time that she realized that Chan Gu's mouth was moving.

It was like he was whispering something.

She was too focused on her day-dreaming and observing Chan Gu's handsome feature, that even the words that Chan Gu was trying to say fail to register in her ears.

It was like, Chan Gu was speaking in slow motion. Reading base on how his lips were moving, Hae Soo finally understand what he was saying.

"You got some eye boogers over there."

Chan Gu said in a whisper as he awkwardly try to gesture to his eyes. Hoping to give Hae Soo a hint.

At that moment, Hae Soo sincerely wish for the ground to crack open and swallow her whole. She badly wanted to dig a hole and buried herself there alive.
