The group made one last final revision on their plan before wrapping it up altogether. After that, they decided on the date on when they will be going to take their leave to accomplish the mission that they accepted.

"Brother Yan, regarding our proposal the other day. Do you already have a plan in mind???"

Long Yue asked in a whisper as he discreetly closed the distance between him and his friend, Su Yan.

When Mu Lingxi heard Long Yue and realization dawned on her, three back lines streaked down on her face.

'Here we are again... Uhrrrg!'

Long Yue seemed to be a stubborn cold during cold winter days that persistently latched on Mu Lingxi all day and night.

It was as if almost every single day, he won't ever forget to come bugging his friend about the progress for their secret operation or if there is any plan at all regarding the 'OPLAN duped Hae Soo in'.

"What do you guys talking about????"

Yun Xue b.u.t.ted in as he stood in between Mu Lingxi and Long Yue. He tried to hook his arms over his two friends. On his left was Long Yue while Su Yan was on his right side.

Recently, Yun Xue was starting to act a lot more warm than his usual cold demeanor. It seemed that spending most of his time with his friends made him unknowingly shed a few layers of ice in his cold and aloof personality. Which is undeniably for the best.

But not a minute had pa.s.sed since he put his arms over Su Yan's shoulder, he already released it. It was like he felt electrified when he comes in contact with Mu Lingxi.

Coming in close contact with Su Yan/ Mu Lingxi makes his body react in an odd way, and Yun Xue doesn't know exactly why is that the case.

Even the smell of Su Yan seems to linger under his nose.

Su Yan's body scent smells has a detectable note of musk and nuances of fruity flavors. Like a freshly picked strawberry dipped in a chocolate dip. Or a sugar-coated apple laced with a tinge of vanilla.

It was like Su Yan's body carried a smell of summer in an invigorating and enticing scent.

It smells so nice and sweet that Yun Xue was enjoying it to the point that his mouth almost started watering.

'NO! NO! NO!  NOOOO!!! This cant be?! When did I even start enjoying another man's scent????! This is so embarra.s.sing! I must have gone nuts this morning!!!'

Yu Xue though to himself in derision.

He immediately left the group and run inside the bathroom. There he washed his face several times, hoping to refresh his mind and erased the crazy thoughts that had just come to his mind just a while ago.

'The heck with me today! Darn it!!!!'

During that entire day, Yun Xue was left wondering why Su Yan smells so feminine at that time.

"What's wrong with Yun Xue today??? Just this morning he was acting way too friendly and jolly. Very much different to his usual self. Then after greeting us, he just suddenly ran away and locked himself inside the bathroom and stay there for a long time. He even hooked his arms over mine before that. Why did he suddenly start acting cold again?? He is making me uncomfortable. I feel like it was all my fault."

Long Yue complained to his friends while they silently observed Yun Xue who seemed to be trapped inside his own world.

He was eating as if there was no tomorrow. He was shoveling the food into his mouth as if he was in a food fight and making incoherent muttering to himself as he shakes his head every now and then.

"Yun Xue, are you depriving yourself of foods this past few days??? Don't be too harsh to yourself. Chew your food properly or you choke yourself to death."

Mu Lingxi place a gla.s.s of water next to Yun Xue when she said that. She even patted Yun Xue's back then casually rub it up and down a few more times when Yun Xue started coughing, maybe due to being accidentally choked.

A flush crept up in Yun Xue's face as soon as Mu Lingxi's hand came into contact with his back. He abruptly rose to his feet and it startled everyone eating within the school's pantry.

It just so happen that the group was having their lunch together during that time. Just like what they usually do on normal days.

"I need to wash my face. I'll be leaving."

After bidding his farewell like that, Yun Xue immediately left his friends who were still plastered by his weird action.

"Why is he so obsessed about was.h.i.+ng his face today????!"

Long Yue asked in bewilderment when Yun Xue's departing figure was already out from earshot.

"He must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning."

Fan Lei said as he shakes his head.

"Should we asked him to sleep again and wake him up on the other side of his bed instead???"

Chan Gu suggested with an earnest expression on his face. His friends, on the other hand, look at him as if something weird had grown from his face.

"Chan Gu, don't bother using your brain anymore. It is not meant to be used anyways."

Long Yue said as he looked at Chan Gu with symphaty. He even patted the other part's shoulder after saying that.

He can't take an idiom when he heard one. He is taking it word by word. What a blunt.

"Eat it up. Eat a lot. It is important to fill your body with enough food so it can help your brain to work fine."

Fan Lei said to Chan Gu with a smile as he too took one spoonful of his food.

"If you say so..."

Chan Gu shrugged his shoulder as he resumed from digging into his lunch.

"MEOW"

[Little la.s.s. I think you got an admirer.]

"Why do you think so???? Who was it this time???'

"MEOW"

[Don't ask. Just believe me when I say so...]

Ja.n.u.s was eating beside Mu Lingxi all this time and the master and cat duo was talking through their mental link.

Mu Lingxi usually allows Ja.n.u.s to be out of her storage ring whenever possible. She finds it more comfortable seeing Ja.n.u.s next to her. It gave her some sense of security.

Since Ja.n.u.s was outside all this time, he had seen everthing that happened since this morning. He already had a vague idea of what was going on and what was wrong with Yun Xue today.

The baby snow dragon, Guinevere, on the other hand, prefer to remain inside the storage ring. Too used in the life of seclusion, the adorable white, fluffy creature was not fond of mingling with other people.

When Mu Lingxi and her friends  arrived at their dormitory, they saw Yun Xue squatting in a corner, drawing circles on the ground.

Well, not literally though. Apparently he was sitting at the edge of his bed. His bare feet were dangling on the floor with flower petals spread all around him.

He was holding an ox-eye daisy on his hands and was repeatedly muttering to himself, the phrases:

"I like it"  "I like it, not" while picking one petal off a flower for each phrase.

Mu Lingxi and her friends halted their steps all at the same time as soon as they saw what Yun Xue was doing inside the room.

"What's with him today? Did he eat something weird recently???"

It was Fan Lei who first reacted upon seeing his friend's odd behavior. Followed by Mu Lingxi who was shaking her head in lamentation as she whispered,

"He is not okay. He is certainly not okay"

"He must have gone nuts"

"Is he broken-hearted or what?"

The two Long brothers followed after as they both wince when YunXue took another flower when he was done plucking out all of the petals of the previous one.

"Should we start planning how to knock him out???"

Chan Gu on the other hand stick to his plan on knocking his friend unconscious so they can wake him up at the other side of his bed.

They all stared at their friend, Yun Xue, who seemed to be undergoing some unspeakable dilemma at the moment.
