SORCERESS 101 216 Aye Aye Captain

Time flies real quick and without the group even realizing it another three days had successfully pa.s.sed. Even Yun Xue was already back to his usual cold and aloof personality.

Much better than his almost mentally deranged self during the past few days.

But recently, Mu Lingxi also noticed that for some reason, Yun Xue seemed to be keeping his distance away from her. Well, she let him have it his way though.

She reckoned that it is not something that she should feel troubled about at all. She doesn't want to bother herself about such kind of trivial things.

Also, due to Long Yue's relentless and consistent nagging, Mu Lingxi was left with no choice but to accept his request and come up with a plan regarding the OPLAN duping Hae Soo in.

It was during one sunny afternoon when she and her cat, Ja.n.u.s were in the middle of sneaking some edible flowers along with the chocolate fountain of the Pixie Yard.

"Brother Yan, how is the plan??? Are you just going to let our friend, Chan Gu drift farther away from us?!"

"Of course not????"

'That's exactly what I'm saying. I know that we are on the same boat Su Yan. We should definitely do something about it. We should start our  'operation dupe Hae Soo in' as soon as possible..."

Long Yue said with much conviction reflecting in his voice

"Yeah, sure. I have heard you saying that same propaganda over and over again a lot of times already."

Mu Lingxi said as she picked her ears and give Long Yue a side glance. The corner of her mouth quirked up as she gave her friend a lopsided grin.

"MEOW"

[Why don't you advise him to start pursuing politics and create his own party list instead? He sure was consistent, and way too persistent. What a glib tongue lad he was.]

"But Su Yan, we should start planning it now. Or else Chan Gu will get used to not seeing us already. When that time comes, it will be too late for sorry. We will lose our friend."

Long Yue had no plan of backing away. It was like he would not give it a rest until he was able to persuade his friend; Su Yan to agree to his request.

On the other hand, Mu Lingxi was no pushover either. She was also adamant about turning down Long Yue's request.

After all, the thing that she will have to do under  Long Yue's plan is not something that she would feel some sense of pride after accomplis.h.i.+ng.

Just the name of the plan itself was more than enough to turn even Mu Lingxi's innards into another shade of green.

Sadly, Long Yue and the others were not aware of it, yet.

"I don't think that would be the case. You are just overthinking it, Long Yue. How about you try persuading Yun Xue instead?"

Mu Lingxi offered an alternative to Long Yue. Maybe he could come in terms with Yun Xue.

"Are you asking me to kill myself? There is no doubt that Yun Xue will be going to throw all the daggers that he could get towards me all at once if I told him about my plan. Brother Yan, you are my only hope..."

"No, Long Yue. I won't be doing it so stop wasting your breath to me anymore. Try to negotiate with someone else."

Mu Lingxi clearly stated her stand about the matter.

Seeing as how his persuasive approaches were ineffective to Su Yan, Long Yue quit nagging at his friend and decided to take his action up a notch.

Instead of directly persuading Su Yan, he started using self-pity act and self-blame

"I think Chan Gu was already starting to get fed up staying with us always that is why he was trying to seek out other's company now. Maybe, this is all my fault. I've been acting out of the line always. I am being too much. As such, he doesn't feel like befriending me anymore..."

"You are exaggerating things. Chan Gu is not fed up to us, at least not yet. But if ever he already was starting to get fed up with our company, which I think will not necessarily be the case, he still had no other choice. We all stay in the same room, remember?"

Mu Lingxi tried to reason out to her friend. But even she, herself feels like she got herself tangled up with her own words.

"Not unless he decided to switch rooms..."

"It won't reach to that extent. That, I guarantee you"

"BUt----"

"There is no Buts, Long Yue. Besides, why are you too caught up about it???? It's not like Chan Gu will get married soon to Hae Soo. You know what??? I think you sound more like a nagging and jealous mother-in-law..."

"I was just afraid that we will come to the point that Chan Gu will have to choose between joining our get together or having a date with Hae Soo. Then Chan GU will choose the latter."

Long Yue muttered despondently beneath his breath.

Before he could even delve deeper into his feeling of lamentation, he heard Su Yan's voice.

"Okay, okay. I'll think of a plan later."

Long Yue's face brightened upon hearing his friend's consent toward his proposal. He was not sure which of his words manage to change Su Yan's mind but he was happy about how the things turned out.

"I knew it, Brother Yan! You can't say 'no" to me... Hehehehe!"

The overjoyed Long Yue jump to his sit as he almost hugged Mu Lingxi. If not only because of the cat sitting in his friend's lap who was glaring at him as if it wanted to swallow him whole.

"It is not like you allow me to say no in the first place"

From the tone of Mu Lingxi's voice, there is a slight trace of sarcasm that is barely detectable.

"Yeah, you're right. I will just keep on pestering you until you finally say yes to me... HEHEHE"

Long Yue replied without any hint of hesitation. He did not even need to think twice when he admits to it.

"I'll think about it after we're done with our mission. In the meantime. Let first set our mind and focus our attention on uncovering more information regarding soul arts. So that, we can haste Luna recovery."

"Aye! Aye Captain!"

Long Yue answered back with a big smile and salute.
