SORCERESS 101 217 Rich Kid Problem

Mu Lingxi can help but feel some sense of envy towards Long Yue. While she was worried about how she would be able to survive in this other world;

How she could go on with her cross-dressing without getting caught. Or as to how long she could continue leaving in the same roof with five young men without her disguise being exposed.

In fact, even the thought of how she could manage her finances for her daily expenditures was enough to give her trouble every day.

Not to mention that she also needs to find a way on how she could earn more magic stones to fund her expenses.

While she was basically worrying herself about many other things to make do as to live in this new lease of life bestowed to her.

 Another individual beside her was troubling himself as to how he could get his friend to stay at his side. So they could always hang out together.

And from the looks of it, it seemed that he was taking the problem at heart. To the point that he was seeing it as a big crisis that needs to be taken care of as soon as possible.

They were around the same age but their problems were two worlds apart

"MEOW"

[That is  what we called 'Rich Kid' problem.]

"How I wish I can also live a carefree life like him. Where all I have to worry about is how I can keep enjoying my life and hang out with my friends."

The gap between the rich and poor is so wide. So wide that even if one were to use up every single drop of water in the pacific ocean to fill up s.p.a.ce between them it won't suffice to fill the gap.

Since he already gets what he wanted, Long Yue took his leave allowing the master and cat duo to finally have the time for themselves.

When Long Yue was no longer around, Ja.n.u.s suddenly recalled something.

"MEOW"

[Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I asked around with my friends to look for any job opening within Majika. I just got news from them this morning. Currently, there is an opening for a part-time job.]

Ja.n.u.s was supposed to share this news with Mu Lingxi early this morning but the relentless nagging of Long Yue did not allow him to do so.

He almost forgot about it.

"Oh, that's great! What would be the job description then?"

"MEOW"

[It is not that hard. You just have to do some menial stuff like refilling arrows and sharpening daggers.]

"Huh???? Will I be part of some maintenance team in that job?"

"MEOW"

[Sort of. You will be working in some kind of Sports Complex. Specifically in a shooting range area that offers archery, darts, and the like."

"Oh... It sounds fun. There is such a kind of place here?"

"MEOW"

[Yes of course. If there is no such place like that here, where do you think Yun Xue and  Chan Gu will be practicing their skills???]

"Err... you got a point there.."

It seemed that a big reason why many of the students of Magus Academia were frequenting in Majika is not just because they wanted to unwind and hang out with their friends there.

But rather, they wish to spend their spare time in furthering their combat experience and hone their practical skills.

Many of them appear to be carefree on the outside but they were not slacking when it comes to their personal development either.

All of them had the same main goal in mind when they decided to enter Magus Academia. And that is to be powerful and secure a spot in the upper echelon of the whole content.

In a place where magic and power reigns supreme, warlocks and sorceresses are a force to be reckoned with. Anything that involves the study of spells and magic is no joking matter.

As such, every single one of them who was given a chance to study in Magus Academia was taking this opportunity seriously. It was their pride.

"So when do you think I can start?"

"MEOW"

[Hmm.. well I will still need to ask for it later. I haven't secured the job for you yet since I thought that I need to consult it first to you before deciding.]

"Okay, I see... Get that job for me. I can work there every after cla.s.s. After all, I only have half-day cla.s.ses and I don't have any important commitment after that."

It is a relief that she can now have something important to commit her time. Besides, that job would also likely give her a glimpse in the finest work of archery and darts and the other weapon skills.

Maybe she can learn a thing or to about it and try her hands at some of those sports when she had time.

Who knows, maybe she also has some knack in one or two of those weapons that she had not yet to discover.

But most of all, getting paid for that job will help lessen her worries. Since she will now have some steady source of income.

"I'll definitely work my a.s.s out to earn more magic stones there. Ja.n.u.s, why don't you try looking for other jobs available in Majika? Maybe I can still take other part-time jobs. I am used to working with different part-time jobs anyway."

"MEOW"

[Yeah sure. I can look for it.]

It was during the time like this, that Mu Lingxi can't help but feel thankful that she had a talking cat at her side. At least she can rely on him for doing some job for her like this.

Which significantly reduces her stress level. Since she has someone to rely on when it comes to dealing with such kind of trivial things.

Everything in her life now was going on smoothly. Mu Lingxi was now starting to feel that she was becoming more and more part of this whole new world where she had been transmigrated to.

She was happily learning how to be a sorceress, taking her own baby steps one step at a time. Until she could become a full pledge sorceress. Now she will even have her own job!

Everything was going according to her plan. Now, what only left her baffled is her disguise.

"Yeah, I know. They are actually planning to set foot for the mission after the last day of cla.s.s this week."

"Oh is that so? Then if that would be the case, then there are still two days for you before that.
