SORCERESS 101 234 Bridge Over Troubled Water 1

After cloud watching with Long Yue, Mu Lingxi descended down the hill. Looking around her, she realized that she was walking down the path that leads to the place where Long Fuzi almost confessed his feelings to her.

Well, recalling that situation indeed make her blush. But not because of anything romantic but more because of shame!!!!!

Thinking back at that suppose romantic night with Long Fuzi that ended up to be a total epic fail, Mu LIngxi almost wanted the ground to swallow her.

The place and atmosphere were almost perfect. An ideal romantic setting that is commonly portrayed in the books.

Even the pale glow of the moon is there to complete the scene. In fact, even the thousand brilliant diamonds in the sky were also present at that time.

But before Long Fuzi could even confess his love, her stupid digestive system gets on the way!!!!!

Who could be more unlucky than her when it comes to romance???

Why in the freaking earth of all the times that she can have constipation...

Why??? Why??? Why it has to be that time?????!!!

And so she gifted the world with a not so pleasant gas coming out from her that night.

While Long Fuzi was carrying her in his arms like how a groom carries his bride, Mu Lingxi farted!!!!

A d.a.m.n freaking LOUD FART!!!!

What could be more embarra.s.sing than that?????

It was at this time that Mu Lingxi realized that going back to this familiar place seemed to be not a good idea at all.

It was as if every corner of this place reminds her of everything embarra.s.sing that she had done in her life.

Initially, this place gave her a nostalgic feeling.

But now,...

Oh, the heck!!!!

Never mind!!!

While Mu Lingxi was deep in her thought as she was reminiscing the old days, her feet never stop walking.

She also didn't realize that the sun already hides somewhere on the horizon and only the moon now is hanging in the sky.

It was just like exactly how the night looks like back then. Her romantic rendezvous with Long Fuzi. Their moment under the moon.

The moon s.h.i.+nes on the trees around her and it produced a long and black shadow that clocked the ground.

Mu Lingxi walked past the arched stone bridge that runs over a small lotus pond. This was the same bridge in her memory.

It seemed that nothing change in this same old bridge. It remained like that for almost half a year. But the feelings that she felt before on that same bridge, did it also stays with her???

No??? Yes??? She too was unsure.

Koi fishes of different colors swam along with the lotus flowers in the small pond. This scenery is made more beautiful by the pale glow cast by the brilliant moon above.

Just as she was about to leave the place, she saw a figure moving on the other end of the bridge. Taking a closer look at who it was, she saw Yun Xue ascending to the steps of the arched stone bridge.

The bright full moon illuminated his face as he looked up in the sky. He had his arms behind his back and his eyes were closed.

As if he was trying to savor the moment and feel the breeze that touches his skin. He looks so distant and sad at the same time

"Why is he in sentimode right now??? Just by seeing him like that, make me sad... Haaiiixxtt!"

Mu Lingxi intends to go back to her room and let Yun Xue have the time of his life at the stone bridge but just as she was about to turn a sharp left, he heard Yun Xue's voice calling out for her name.

"Su Yan....."

"Oh? Me... Yeah. Hi there, Yun Xue. Hehe..."

Mu Lingxi had no choice but turn back and awkwardly greet Yun Xue. For some reason, Mu Lingxi felt like someone who was caught peeking into someone else private affairs.

"Hi there, I was just pa.s.sing by... What brought you here?"

"I feel like I want to see the moon."

Yun Xue said as he looked up once again in the sky and continue to bask himself with moonlight.

Due to the recent circ.u.mstances where Yu Xue tries to avoid her, something deep inside Mu Lingxi was stirred into an eagerness to learn more about what had come to this friend of hers.

As such, now that a golden opportunity had shown itself to her, she finds it a pity to just let go of it.

Especially when she saw sadness and heartache behind Yun Xue's eyes.

Just what had come to this guy this past few days for him to end up like this?????

So Mu Lingxi accompanies Yun Xue that night. She crossed the arched stone bridge that runs over a beautiful lotus pond to meet Yun Xue in the middle.

She crossed that same old bridge that she used to cross before to meet Long Fuzi in the middle of the night. But tonight it was Yu Xue whom she will be meeting. 

Likewise, when Yun Xue saw Su Yan (Mu Lingxi) making his way towards him, the tumult deep inside him tighten its grip over his heart.

Over the course of these past few days, he had been troubled by his own confusion and emotion. He deeply wanted to shut those things away, but he realized that it was really hard to hide on yourself.

He wanted to vent those frustrations heaping up at him but he just can't find a release. He wanted something like a bridge that could provide him a place away from all these drama and confusion.

But who would have thought that the one who could give him a bridge over troubled water was the same man who brought him all these confusions?

What a timing.

"Yun Xue, is there something troubling you recently???? Well dude, you know I'm always here for you. Don't you? You can always count on me... "

"Yes. Sure you will"

"Aye? I mean it. We're friends, remember?"

"I know, and that only makes me feel more bad about myself."

"Ehhh????"

Yun Xue simpered before he continued talking to his friend, Su Yan.

"I have a friend, who has a friend who is also a friend of mine, and that friend of ours confess its feeling to him. If you were in his situation, what will you do???"

"Ohh?? So someone confessed her feelings to you????"

"NO! It's not me! Are you even listening??? Its a friend of mine!"

"Tch! Yun Xue, that was too old fas.h.i.+on.. that 'I have a friend who has a friend' kind of thing. Come on, now. But in reality, you are just talking about yourself. Let us not complicate things anymore and mess it up with the whole bunch of friends and whose friends of another friend. Let us just say it was you"

"I told you, it's not me... Its a friend of mine. I swear---"

"Alright, if you insist. So you are saying that someone, confesses her feelings to your friend. Now, you are asking me, what will I probably do if ever I was in the same situation as that friend of yours??? Is that it???

Mu Lingxi tried to reword Yun Xue's story as slowly as she could. To make sure that she understands it."
