Since the group already had a direction of where to go for their next plan, they no longer waste any more of their time.

On that same day, they decided to make their way back at Magus Academia so that they can start working with their plan as soon as possible.

Obviously, they have no other means of transportation aside from their spiritual beast. This is the best choice that they got so far. If they wanted to arrive earlier in their school.

Instead of using the typical transportation such as the s.h.i.+p that they use to sail their way to Magus Academia. It is better for them if they will going to use their own beasts.

Using an a.n.a.logy in Mu Lingxi's previous life, it is like the difference between commuting using public transportation against commuting using your personal car. The latter is far more convenient.

Besides, they also have their student token with them. All they have to do is flash that magic emblem signifying their ident.i.ty as a bona fide student from the school of magic and they will be given immediate access to any nearby portal available in the area. 

So their plan is to look for the nearest portal available in the area. By utilizing their magic emblem, Mu Lingxi and her friends will be able to significantly cut their journey short.

The usual path that one has to take whenever going to Magus Academia usually takes around a couple of days, and sometimes even months.

This is because the portals that do not require magic emblems for its traveler are usually located on an isolated place

But with a magic emblem in their hands, they can easily switch with any portals and travel through it from one point to another until they reached  Magus Academia.

Calling out for their beast, Mu Lingxi and the rest of her friends set foot and made their way to the nearest portal available for them.

With the Nexus Portal in their possession looking for nearby portals did not pose any problem. This artifact works as a portal detector.

So all they need to do is utilized it and they will be directed to the best available portal in the area right away.

The group used a total of four detours. Meaning, their group used four portals to travel from one point to another. Before they finally arrived at the entrance of Magus Academia itself.

When they finally arrived at the Magus Academia, the group instantly felt the fatigue that builds upon their body throughout their long journey.

After all, the group took almost a week for traveling back and forth between Magus Academia and the Kingdom of Long.

As such, as soon as they arrived at the school, they head straight back to their dormitory and climb at their own beds.

Although they used short cuts to return at Magus Academia and gain access to the fastest route available, they still felt worn out.

"Can I even call this as a jet lag???"

Thinking about it, Mu Lingxi and her friends did not have a single day of rest ever since they left their school. They had been in a constant move as if they were racing against time.

The moment they left under the pretext of the school mission, they were immediately teleported to the desert land and fought with the sandmen.

After that, they also had to fight with the fierce Whomping Sakura Tree just to gain access to the entrance leading to the Rhapsody Swamp.

As soon as they gathered the mistletoe flowers at Rhapsody Swamp, they went straight to the Long Kingdom.

Then from there, they went on busying themselves for searching the whereabouts of the apprentice necromancer.

Which in the end only leads them back to Magus Academia. It felt like they have been put into circles all this time.

It was in the afternoon of the next day when the group finally recovered from their fatigue.

It was also at that time that they got a chance to go to the Mission Tower to report from their mission and accept their rewards for completing it.

Mu Lingxi also went on having the gold coins in her possession exchanged in the Peewee Gold Reservoir. Just like before she got a total of 100 magic stones after the exchange.

Summing it up with the magic stones that she earned from the mission that their group had taken, she now had a total of 150 magic stones.

"This amount of magic stones is only good for a couple of weeks, around three at most. "

Mu Lingxi said to herself after counting the total magic stones that she had.

[That is why you really need to do part-time jobs. I already secured the job for you at the Zodiac Arena. All you have to do now is to report there personally and you can start right away.]

"Great! Maybe I can start working there tomorrow. After cla.s.s, I will head there straight."

The rest of the group went on their usual activities. The thing regarding the whereabouts of the apprentice necromancer was set aside for the meantime.

Since the group also has to deal with other miscellaneous things in their school. After all, they were still students who have to attend school and worry about their cla.s.ses.

Their hands were already full as of the moment. This is especially so for Mu Lingxi. Others might just have to worry about their studies and other stuff that they choose to worry about.

But Mu Lingxi had to think about a lot of things. The longer she stays in this world, the more she learned about a lot of things making her busier than ever.

The things that she has to accomplish just keep on increasing but it seemed that she hadn't made any progress at all.

There are a lot of things coming in her way. It was so stressful.

When she was transmigrated to this world after her fall, she thought that her life will finally be going to start anew. But somehow, it just becomes more complicated.

Instead of thesis and other usual school paper works, she now has to worry about magic spells.

Despite the difference in a world setting, she still has the same problem that she used to worry about in her previous life. Finances.

If before, she has to work for several part-time jobs just to earn some bucks. Here, in this world, she also has to work but instead of aiming for just a few bucks, she needs magic stones.

It was no other than the baby snow dragon who almost turned her storage ring into her own condo unit.

Guinevere rarely went outside and choose to stay inside her storage ring and eat all her meat jerky stocks.
