Mu Lingxi's part-time job at Zodiac Arena is good for 5 hours, after that she will be free to leave the arena since her s.h.i.+ft for that day had ended.

Likewise, Yun Xue also finished his training after 5 hours. Exactly the same time as Mu Lingxi's s.h.i.+ft had ended so the two went back to their dormitory together.

"What are you planning to do tonight???"

Yun Xue asked his friend while they were on their way. After his conversation with Su Yan (Mu Lingxi) that night, he realized that the other party has a point

When he said that one's feelings will just keep on going out of control the more we try to restrict it. It's true.

He believed that if he will just keep making himself crazy if he will let himself just like that, caught up with his own confusion. He must sort this out once and for all!

He is not gay!!! He must prove it to himself.

So instead of avoiding his friend Su Yan just like what he initially did, he decided to do the opposite.

"Ohh, I was planning to visit the School Library and check the student records there."

"Student records?? What do you need with them??"

"Well, I happened to have free time tonight so I'm planning to check if there is anything I can  get from there regarding the apprentice necromancer."

"Ohh.. it seemed that you are really serious about lending your hand to Long Yue. "

"Of course, I am serious as much as you guys do. We all want to help our friend Long Yue in our own way. This is the best that I can do."

Mu Lingxi replied without batting an eye. But in truth, she was using Long Yue's situation to cover up with her own reason for finding the whereabouts of apprentice necromancer.

Others might think that she was doing it for the sake of helping Long Yue.

But only her, knew it to herself, that she was doing it for her sake

Because she was directly related to it. And she was bound with all these secrets as well as to that apprentice necromancer. She was the curse and the prophecy.

"Is Long Yue going to accompany you again tonight????"

"Again???"

"Yeah, just like before, you two love to work together after all. Just like when you find the information about the apprentice necromancer. So I wonder if you two have plans for tonight."

"Tss... we do not plan about it. I was also surprised when I see Long Yue that night, I did not expect that he would follow me at the Mu Clan Residence"

If you only knew...I also prefer it if Long Yue was not there that night.'

"You don't have to explain. I'm just a friend."

Why do I have a feeling that there is something wrong with the direction of this conversation???

"I will be going there alone tonight. if you want you can join me."

When Yun Xue heard Su Yan's offer he was startled and it takes a couple of seconds before he managed to answer back

"Are you sure??"

"Well, if you're busy, it's okay. I can do it myself anyway."

"No! Of course, I'm going too. I'm also free tonight. Let's go there together."

Yun Xue hurriedly give his answer before Mu Lingxi could even take her words back

So just like that, the two agreed to meet in the school library that night. After doing everything that needs to be done, Yun Xue and Mu Lingxi both headed at the school library.

The school library is open 24/7 for all the warlocks and sorceresses who wish to further their knowledge. As such, they did not have a hard time accessing the facility.

Although it was already dark outside, and the night was already at its peak, the were still student warlocks and sorceresses who were using the library.

The place is well-lit and countless books filled each shelf of the library. When Mu Lingxi and Yun Xue arrived at the library they did not expect that they will meet Fan Lei there.

Fan Lei was busy reading books at the corner of the library and it seemed that he was engrossed at the book that he was reading

"Hey Fan Lei,.."

Mu Lingxi greeted her friend as soon as she saw him at the corner."

"Su Yan??? What a surprise! I didn't know that you are also visiting the library tonight. If I have known I should have waited and go here with you."

"It's okay, I came here with Yun Xue."

"Yun Xue???"

Fa Le's asked in confusion, it was only this time that he noticed the other party standing not too far away from Su Yan.

Never did he imagine that Yun Xue is actually fond of going into a place such like this. From how he knows of Yun Xue's personality, he is not that type of man who would prefer reading books at night,

'We came here to check  the school records.'

Yun Xue said when he noticed the weir look that Fan Lei was giving him. Well, he cannot completely blame the other party for being suspicious.

Even he himself will feel the same if he was in the same situation. He is definitely not that type of a man who would go at library at this time of night just to read.

"School record?? Are you planning to investigate that thing already?"

Fab Lei said in a whisper to avoid anyone from overhearing their conversation.

'Yes, we will try to look for that information"

Mu Lingxi answered in the same whispering manner just like what the other party did.

"Hey?? Why are you two talking like that?? Stop blowing at each other's ears!!!"

Yun Xue separated the two as he stands in between them.

"You. What are you doing here?? "

He asked Fan Lei to change the topic.

"Well, I was just reading out of hobby to past time. I recently found a great book to read. I suggest you try reading it too."

As a binger reader, Mu LIgxi also loves reading books to pa.s.s time. As such, when she heard another book lover like her suggesting a good book, she was immediately interested in it.

"Oh really??? What is that book??"

"It is Married to the Queen of Darkness. try it, it's a great read."

"Ohh... Sure. I'll try that one out after I'm done reading with my first novel."

"Ohh?? You're also reading one?? What is its t.i.tle??'

"Hmm... It's a great novel as well. It Sorceress 101"

Seeing as how Su Yan (Mu Lingxi) and Fan Lei were having a good time exchanging insights about their hobby, Yun Xue suddenly felt out of place.

"Ehemmm"

He cleared his throat to catch their attention but it seemed that the two were busy talking among themselves about how great the two novels they were reading are.

"Eheeemmm!!!!"

He cleared his throat again, louder than the previous one.

But Su Yan (Mu Lingxi) and Fan Lei seemed to already forget his presence.

"EHHEEEMM!!! EHEEEMMM!!!!"

"Yun Xue, are you sick??? Do you got a sore throat or something??"

Fa Lei asked in concern

The other party keeps on clearing his throat. They noticed that it is geting louder and louder to the point that even those other students who were reading their books nearby were looking at him already.

"Im okay. Aren't you two done yet?? Should we check the school records now or shall we just forget about it so you two can continue with your conversation for as long as you wish??"

"Oh yeah! The school records! I almost forgot... Let me help you look for it..."

Since Fan Lei used to visit the school library whenever he had free time, he was already familiar with the place. As such, he volunteered to help his friends to look for the section where they can see the school records regarding the students' profile.
