Without wasting any of their time, Mu Lingxi and her friends took their leave as soon as they received everything that they needed from Schoolmaster Yin.

Then on that very next day, the group of warlocks set foot to start on their new quest right away.

This time, however, they took another route and portal. Instead of using the talking oak tree in the heart of Enchanted Forest, the group decided to try something new.

Going on the northern part of Magus Academia, Mu Lingxi and her friends will be taking the Northern Blossom Farm.

This is the very same place where Mu Lingxi was teleported after she pa.s.sed her entrance examination.

Walking pa.s.s through the tall white buildings of Majika, the group soon arrived at a luxurious looking place. They padded their way through a golden pavement inlaid with various precious stones of different sizes.

The place also has a vast and lush greeneries that was horizontally divided by a shallow stream. A small bridge was built over the water for those who wish to cross the stream going to the other side of the lush greeneries.

Northern Blossom Farm is well taken care of by the pixies and so the flowers in this place are always in full bloom

It was as if this place is always Springtime all year round. The gentle spring breeze dances in the area as it carries the intoxicating scent of the beautiful and fragrant peonies.

Its fragrance ranges from sweet to rosy and almost citrusy smell combined with the tinge of and musky smell. One whiff and it will leave one with a pleasant feeling

Looking around the area, the springtime leaf.a.ge was littered by the vibrant color of tiny blooming flowers.

These tiny flowers that decorated the entire place with myriad colors looked no different from scattered jelly beans when observed from afar.

Here and there, pixie dust of varying colors rides in the wind as the cute little pixies darted in the air from time to time. Where their soft giggles mixed with the sound of leaves movement and winds blowing.

It was not their first time coming to this place, but nevertheless they still can't help but feel awe by how beautiful this place is.

It looked as if it came straight out from the painting of some unknown maestro. Each hue and pictures were placed perfectly in the best place that will complement one another.

Even the sound of the running water from the nearby stream is music to one's ear. It sounded so calm and refres.h.i.+ng like a beautiful melody of a flute played high in the afternoon.

Combine them all together and it brings the aesthetic of the place into another whole new level. The place looked so surreal that if not from the sound created by the flowing water, they would definitely doubt that it was part of reality.

The beautiful scenery that the place could offer could easily pa.s.s through a beautiful landscape painting in a panoramic view.

"So where can we find the portal in this place?? I don't recall seeing any portal when I came here before."

Mu Lingxi asked when she was reminded about the peculiarity. Even when her first time coming to this place before, she also found it strange.

Usually, whenever they will be teleported somewhere, they will need to use something like a medium. But when she came here before, as soon as he stepped out from the mirror-like door she found her self standing on this open field next.

With no portal or anything at sight. Just vast greenery littered with colorful tiny flowers.

Chan Gu said as recognition dawn on his face. All of them came straight here right after pa.s.sing their entrance examination. At that time they were too excited at the notion of pa.s.sing.

As such they almost forgot about the strange thing about this place. If not from coming back to this same place again, it was a doubt if they would even wonder about it on normal occasions.

"It's not that there is no portal in this place. It is just that Northern Blossom Farm has a unique type of teleportation means. Instead of a typical portal, the Northern Blossom Farm uses a fairy ring."

Fan Lei explained to his friends. Others might find it a mystery but for him, a wide reader, he could be said that he knows most of these things. Especially those concerning every nook and cranny of Magus Academia.

In fact, no one could claim first if he said he was second to knowing everything about Magus Academia.

When he first came here to this place, he was also fl.u.s.tered by that same bizarre teleportation mode. As such he personally conducted his research and look through it. Just like what he usually does whenever he finds himself puzzled over something.

"A fairy ring you say???"

Long Fuzi asked with a raised eyebrow. He and LongYue came here a year prior to them. They also use the same method of teleportation every time they came back to school from their vacation.

But they never tried looking through this matter. Their curiosity is not that strong enough to set them into action.

"You heard it right it is a fairy ring. It was said to be created by dancing fairies. Fairy rings were also believed to be instant portals to the fairy realm, where if you ate or drank anything you'd be trapped for eternity. But since we are all pract.i.tioners of magic, this trap does not apply to us. That is why we can still leave the Magus Academia whenever we want,"

"Ohh I see... Now it makes sense to me why they have to use a different kind of teleportation to send the student inside the school every first day of school."

Chan Gu nodded his head in understanding after hearing Fan Lei's explanation.

Utilizing fairy rings is indeed the best way to ward off those who seek magic although it was not meant for them.

Most likely, every school of magic, be it Magus Academia, Plufwarts or other schools, they also have these fair rings along with their main entry point.

This is to make sure that only those who have apt.i.tude in magic will dare enter the school. Because if they try to force their way even without true capability, then they will bring harm upon themselves as they will only end up being trapped.

It was also for this same reason that a rainbow moonstone is stationed at the entrance to gauge if one person is suitable for magic or not.

Because if they will just accept every Tom, d.i.c.k, and Harry that wish to study at Magus Academia, then the toll of those people who will end up being trapped inside the place will only increase over time.

"But how are we going to look for that fairy ring??"

Asked Yun Xue when he noticed that the focus of the group was being diverted to something else. Be it a fairy ring or a regular portal, what is important now is to be teleported and make haste so as not to wast time. 

"Simple, fairy ring is distinguished by a circle of mushrooms in a field or forest. With that being said, all we have to now is locate that circle of mushroom. Step inside it and we will be teleported outside straight away."

"Ohh?? Okay. Come on.. Let us start searching for it then."

Yun Xue again, beckoned his friends as they started looking for the circle of mushrooms that Fan Lei told them.

So the group combed the area without leaving a single stone unturned. Until finally, Mu Lingxi spotted the conspicuous bunch of colorful mushrooms that lies in the midst of the lush greeneries of Nothern Blossom Farm.

The brilliant colors of the mushrooms dazzled in the area as soon as the sun s.h.i.+nes on them. Creating a beautiful reflection of light in the process. Red, orange, yellow, green, name it!

Different shades of light reflect from those bunch of mushrooms bringing an ethereal or somewhat dreamy effect in the area.

Without waiting any further, Mu Lingxi and the rest of her friends step inside the alleged fairy ring one after another.

As soon as they all came inside the ring, something like a cloud of fairy dust flew around them. Like a mini-tornado, it circled the group. Successfully trapping them inside the fairy ring. Then a second after that they found themselves standing in another familiar place.

It is another picturesque scenery of the beautiful peony and faunas that stretched far beyond the reach of their eyes.

"If my memory does not fail me, we still have to be teleported outside from this point. Are there any other available portals here aside from that one that was being terrorized by the barbaric merfolk??"

Long Yue asked when he was reminded of the gruesome encounter that they had on the s.h.i.+p sailing back to Magus Academia.

Just like any other territories, Magus Academia also comes with two points before one could gain access to its actual place.

Meaning, before one could successfully enter or in their case, leave the Magus Academia, their group first have to travel from these two points that use to connect to interdependent s.p.a.ce

From Northern Bloom Farm they have to use the fairy ring to travel outside, and then next they have to use the waterfall that was being terrorized by the barbaric merfolk. The same kind of creatures that feed on sea travelers and lost sailors of the sea.
