SORCERESS 101 265 Where Are They

Just like Mu Lingxi's group, the Silver Arrows were also after the treasure hidden within the sanguine tundra.

They were from an independent sect that also seeks to further their horizon in the study of soul arts.

It was more than a month ago when their sect leader specifically a.s.signed them a special task of looking for the news concerning the forbidden practice of necromancy.

They had been on a constant move since then and it was more than a month already. But up until now, they barely had any progress at all

This made them so frustrated to the point of desperation.

Especially since it was just lately when they got a bit of information about the whereabouts of the missing apprentice necromancer.

Only to find out that someone was one step ahead of them.

As such, when they caught wind on some inside news that a newly discovered territory of Ancient Domains of Mysteries was very much likely to hold some secrets about necromancers, they immediately made their way straight to this place.

In fact, they were not sure what exactly is that secret or what kind of treasure was hidden in the place.

They simply knew nothing next to what they were supposed to look for at the place since they left in a hurry.

But who would have thought that just like before, someone will be a step ahead of them this time around?

As such, as soon as they saw that a group of warlocks was about to leave the place they immediately sounded them out.

"We don't care who's order you are taking with. Leave the treasure to us or be prepared to die."

The leader said without batting an eye.

From the way she said it, it seemed that they really won't mind spilling some blood just to acquire what they wanted.

"MEOW"

[It looks like they were the same group of itinerant sorceress that attacked the Cloudmist Ridge before and they were after the item related to necromancers as well]

"Yeah, that seems  the case..."

Mu Lingxi and Ja.n.u.s talked among themselves as they observed the group of sorceresses before them.

Te group of itinerant sorceress before them all looked fierce with the bow and arrow in their arms.

They were all towering as well, considering the fact that each of them was also mounting a beautiful dapple grey horse.

One of the sorceresses that have an auburn hair noticed Ja.n.u.s.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a black little cat that was sitting quietly beside the lanky looking warlock.

To her surprise, she had a sudden weird feeling that the black cat was actually smiling at her!

"Hey look at that weird black cat over there, it is smiling at me!!!!"

The sorceress with an auburn hair told the other sorceress that was riding next to her.

"You need to have your eyes check, darling. You are starting to see things now. Can a cat even smile???"

"But I swear to Lilith's name, I really saw it smiling at me just a while ago!"

The sorceress with an auburn hair tried to explain herself but the other sorceress just smiled at her.

"It must have been tiring for you, these past few days. Do you think so? Have some rest later on. You need that, okay?"

"You think so???"

The sorceress with the auburn hair was soon convinced that it was due to her exhaustion getting a toll on her.

Indeed!

How could a cat even capable of smiling???

That is nothing but pure absurdity!

She gave another look at the black little cat and this time, she found that the black cat looked no different from a typical cat.

But before she could even fully convinced herself that it was all just in her imagination the cute little black cat gave her a wink!!!

A FREAKING WINK!!!

What the heck!!!!

"Hey!  Now I'm sure about it. There is definitely something wrong with that black cat!!!! It just winked at me!!!!"

She told the sorceress whom she was talking to just a while ago.

"Yeah sure, who knows you might have found your soul mate. TSS.."

The other sorceress felt tired about it already and so she just rides along with her friend's absurdity.

"Hey! I'm telling the truth!!!"

While the two sorceresses were busy whispering at each other, the other sorceresses have no idea what was about to hit them next.

While no one was paying any heed at the cute little black cat at the side, it opened its mouth so wide

then from that unimpressive little black cat, came out a loud roar that startled all of the horses that they were mounting

"KNEIIGHHHH!!!!" 

Due to that sudden loud roar, all of the dapple grey horses got startled and this made them stomp their hooves in instinct and went wild.

This caught the group of sorceress off guard and so most of them ended up falling from their horses.

Some managed to remain at the back of their horses but they also had a hard time reigning over their horses.

For some reason, their usually docile and calm horses, seemed to went wild.

While they were busy wrestling control over their horses, Mu Lingxi group take this opportunity to escape their encirclement.

Without wasting any time, they used the Invisibility Spell

"APÓKRYPSI TIS PAROUSÍAS!!!"

As soon as they finished casting the spell over their body, a speck of light silver dust shrouded them and the next instant, they were nowhere to be seen.

"Hey, where are they?!!!!"

After some time of wrestling control over their horses that went wild, the group of sorceresses soon realized that the warlocks that they were trying to trap suddenly went missing!

"AHHRRRGGGGGHHH!!!!!!"

The leader of Silver Arrows shouted in frustration and it echoed throughout the entire Sanguine Tundra.

The echo traveled far that even Mu Lingxi's group who was already a safe distance away from them was still able to hear her frustrated shout.
