SORCERESS 101 267 The Lady Trapped In The Chalice

Smoke continued to drift out from the ancient chalice until it now started to have a form.

It did not take long for the smoke to slowly turned into a silhouette of a woman with perfect body shape and long brown wavy hair that extends down to her waist.

But the progress stopped before the figure could turn even more opaque. So the other party ended up looking more like a hologram.

She looked around her with both disbelief and joy reflecting on her big doe eyes.

It seemed that she cannot believe it herself that she was finally out of the ancient chalice.

It took some time before the lady was able to notice Mu Lingxi's group.

When her eyes landed on the group of warlocks that stood witless and was watching her every action on the side, a hint of fear registered on her beautiful face.

A reaction that Mu Lingxi's group did not expect.

They have thought that as soon as the ancient chalice was opened, something awful and terrible existence will escape out from it. Which will wreak havoc in the place.

That is why it was termed a chalice that should no be opened.

Never did they imagine that they will going to meet an innocent-looking lady coming out from it instead.

The other party does not even seem to look like she was actually capable of hurting a fly.

She looked like someone who was just around 30 years of age. But considering that sorceresses tend to age slow, guessing their actual age could be a tough nut to crack, itself.

The other party was dressed in a long, light blue robe and her collar and cuffs were both trimmed with soft fur.

Her robe was covered in s.h.i.+mmering snowflakes and on her head was a hat of fur and snowflakes that looked a little like a crown that sparkled like an icy flame.

Her slender and milky-white shoulders were covered with a cape of dark blue and on her feet, she wore embroidered boots.

She looked like an enchanting snow princess that came out straight from a children's fairytale book. She has that kind of beauty that can easily topple any cities and nations.

She opened and closed her mouth a few more times trying to force out a voice from her throat.

The other party tried to open her path to say something but no voice was coming from her. She cannot speak!

These findings did not just leave Mu Lingxi's group baffled but also the beautiful lady.

This was obvious if one will going to take a look at how horrified she looked when she realized that she lost her voice and she was nothing but a mute now.

She looked at the group of young warlocks before her and this time fear was clearly written all over her face.

She badly wanted to say something, but sad to say the situation is not allowing her.

Likewise, Mu Lingxi and her friends were also at lost of what to do. They were not sure what they have to do next now that someone came out form the ancient chalice.

Before Mu Lingxi and her friends could even do something, the beautiful lady hurriedly turn to her heels and fled as fast as her feet could take her.

Leaving the ancient chalice lying on the ground.

"Quick! Run after her! She must  not escape!!!"

Fan Lei said as they watched the lady running further away from them.

But before they could run after the fleeing lady that escaped from the ancient chalice, a shot of arrow flew straight to their direction and it landed to the ground next to Fan Lei's feet.

"Where do you think you guys are going???"

A maiden's voice sounded from one of the members of Silver Arrows.

This group of itinerant sorceresses also caught up with them!

Now, Mu Lingxi's group was torn between running after the escaping lady and escaping the group of sorceresses that was also running after them.

What a total disaster!!!!

"Su yan, you and Ja.n.u.s should catch that lady. The rest of us should hold forth for this annoying sorceresses."

Fan Lei said as he steps forward and prepares his wand. The others also did the same and they all nodded at Mu Lingxi.

"We're counting on you.."

They said before facing the group of sorceresses once again.

Mu Lingxi knew that they had no much time left so without waiting any further, she hurriedly mounted Ja.n.u.s who transformed back to his panther form.

She knew well enough that if they want help from Schoolmaster Yin, they need to complete this mission. So their group can't afford to lose that lady.

They must not allow that lady to get away from them since she is also part of the ancient chalice. 

So with determination fueling her resolved, Mu Lingxi and Ja.n.u.s run after the escaping lady.

Since the other party is not completely solid and looks more like a transparent hologram, it proves to be quite tricky for them to see her.

But nonetheless, Ja.n.u.s still managed to track her and son they were already running right behind her.

The terrified transparent lady keeps on stumbling on her foot as she runs.

She keeps on turning her head to look behind her, which only makes her more nervous every pa.s.sing moment.

Because every time she looked at her back, she will see the lanky warlock and the giant black cat that was chasing after her.

And from the current looks of it, it seemed that they were drawing closer and closer to her!!!

Due to her panic, she did not notice a big stone lying on the ground. This caused her to stumble once again.

And as if her luck can't get any better, it seemed that she also got her ankle sprained.

Although her form is not yet fully human due to some circ.u.mstances, she still can feel pain. And the pain in her legs right now was killing her.

But despite her pain, the lady was still persistent in getting away from those who wanted to have her trapped inside that G.o.dforsaken chalice once more.

There is no way that she will allow that to happen again. Over her dead body!

She already suffered a lot for a long time, being imprisoned in that ancient chalice. NOw that she was finally free, she will not allow herself to be put back inside the chalice.

So using every bit of strength that she gt on her body, she tried dragging her injured leg and continued to run away.

But due to her slow pace, it did not take long for Mu Lingxi and Ja.n.u.s to caught up with her.
