SORCERESS 101 268 School Master Yin To The Rescue

When the other party realized that she no longer have any chance of escaping she turned around to face Mu Lingxi.

She does not look like she was harmful at all. But looks could be deceiving at times, so Mu Lingxi did not let her guard down just because of this and still proceeded carefully.

She and Ja.n.u.s took their small steps one step at a time. But every time they took one step forward, the other party will also take one step backward.

The lady was really trying her best to back away from them.

"I'm sorry miss, but I have no other choice but to do this. You have to come back to where you belong."

Mu Lingxi said as she took out the ancient chalice.

The lady shook her head and tried running away once again but before she could even get away once more, Mu Lingxi already extended her hand and tried to grab ahold of the other party.

As soon as her hand reached out to the other party a sudden wave of dizziness struck Mu Lingxi. Causing her to lost her balance and fall on her knees.

For a quick second, she almost thought that she was going to pa.s.s out for good.

"Stay away from her!!!!"

She heard someone shouting before a flash of brilliant light shone before her eyes.

"Help me, please..."

Mu Lingxi heard a faint voice of a lady and for some reason, she felt like she was missing out on something.

Part of her felt disturbed when she heard that pleading tone. But before she could process what was happening to her, oblivion took over her. 

The next thing she knew, Schoolmaster Yin was already sitting next to her and Long Yue already had her in his shoulder

"Are you okay now? How do you feel??? Does it hurt somewhere???"

Long Yue fired up one question after another without waiting for Mu Lingxi's reply.

As soon as he saw that Mu Lingxi was about to wake up, he immediately heaved a sigh of relief.

Seeing a close friend of his almost pa.s.sing out like that, bring back the memories of Luna and so he was so worried.

Yun Xue and the others were also looking at her with that same worried expression.

They were not sure what happened between Mu Lingxi and the transparent lady.

But when they caught up with them and arrived at the scene, they already saw Mu Lingxi in her knees while the other party was standing next to her.

Good thing that Schoolmaster Yin arrived at the right moment, and he cast a spell over the transparent lady and bring her back to the ancient chalice where she belongs.

If they just arrived a few minutes late, then it was unsure what would have happened to their friend.

"I was worried that something like this will happen, so I decided to follow after you."

Schoolmaster Yin said as he looked at the group of young warlocks.

Both Chan Gu and Fan Lei had a small wound on their body as a result form their fight with the Silver Arrows.

Schoolmaster Yin was also the one who helped them defeat that group of sorceresses.

It was only after that, did they realized that the Silver Arrows were not a group student sorceresses from some school of magic. Nor they were here to partic.i.p.ate in any school mission.

Contrary to what they initially thought, those itinerant sorceresses were actually part of an independent magus sect, which is the Silver Arrows.

Silver Arrows is a group of sorceresses and they were all trained to be good in hunting and stuff. Together, they formed an influential mage sect with strictly female members only.

The history of the founding of Silver Arrows dated back to ancient times. It was believed that the first-ever sect leader of Silver Arrows is a fallen deity named Lilith.

The sect leader of Silver Arrows also pursue the study of soul arts and so they were also looking for the whereabouts of anything related to the study of souls.

Members of Silver Arrows were known for being ruthless. They will do anything just to achieve what they wanted, even if it was at the expense of someone else safety.

They believed that the ends justify their means.

A group belief that has been pa.s.sed down from generations after generations of sorceresses that used to be members of Silver Arrows.

It was also only this time that Mu Lingxi realized that they were no longer at the Sanguine Tundra.

Right now, they were resting at the back of a ma.s.sive flying beast.

The back of the beast was broad. To the point that even though there were seven of them in total, it does not appear to be crowded at all.

Schoolmaster Yin was silent as he was observing the ancient chalice in his hand. But for some reason, his eyes were blank as if he was thinking about something else.

"I heard the girl speak. She was asking for help. Why is she trapped inside the chalice???"

Mu Lingxi said as soon as she sat down.

When Schoolmaster Yin heard her saying that, he looked at her and asked.

"Are you sure you heard her speak???"

"Yes, Schoolmaster Yin. Before pa.s.sing out, I heard her talking to me...."

Mu Lingxi gave Schoolmaster Yin an affirmative response.

After hearing her confirmation, a glint of light flashes on Schoolmaster Yin's eyes. But no one noticed it.

He stowed the ancient chalice in his storage ring before looking back at Mu Lingxi.

"Don't listen to what she was saying no matter what. she was trying to lure you. Don't believe a word she says.

Schoolmaster Yin stood up and left Mu Lingxi. With his hand behind his back, he walked in front and there he stood as he observed the air view.

Since they were flying, the wind blows on his long white hair and blue and violet robe.

The clear blue sky serves as his background and from his back view, he looked like a wise old wizard. He was exuding an aura of someone who had seen all the vicissitudes of life
