Mu Lingxi agreed readily to Fan Lei 's idea. In any case, that arrangement also worked well for her.

She also had her own issues that need d her full attention as of the moment.

There was her search for her mother's whereabouts. Then on top of that, she also had to uncover more truth about her true ident.i.ty as the incomplete soul mentioned by the apprentice necromancer on his curse

 Plus the most recent one which was her Brother Gaoyan's disappearance.

She had to look at all of that.

So as much as she wanted to help, Mu Lingxi could no longer afford to get herself involved at someone else's issues.

In fact, it was not an exaggeration to say that she did not have that much time to her disposal either. That was why she can no longer accommodate other people's problems.

She already got a lot of it on her end

Just like his other friends, Long Fuzi also happened to have an issue on his end

As such, he also wanted to put his mind into and effort for the time being into searching his supposed to be wife, Mu Lingxi.

"But what if that lady trapped in the ancient chalice endanger Su Yan as soon as she escaped from it???? Don't you remember?? That lady annoyingly attached herself to our friend to the point that she even bothered him on his sleep and even left a mark on him!"

Yun Xue forcefully made his point and b.u.t.ted in when he was suddenly reminded about the fact that the lady inside the ancient chalice also used to latch and torment Su Yan (Mu Lingxi) on his sleep before.

"Yun Xue has a point. This is not just about Schoolmaster Yin. Our lives might be put in danger too once the lady in the ancient chalice escaped. She saw us, she knew that we are the one who took her out from the Sanguine Tundra. She might be eager to come after us to get her revenge on our group us as well. Su Yan already had a taste of it before when the other party attached herself to him."

Long Yue seconded Yun Xue as they both tried to convince their other friends.

"Errr... How about we settle it through votes then? Since we could not decide among ourselves which course of action we should take. We could just do it in a democratic may, majority wins. Are you guys in??"

Chan Gu suggested.

"Sure! That was actually a great idea, Chan Gu. Alright, who wants to vote against getting involve with Schoolmaster yin's misfortune? Raise your right hand."

Fan Lei did not forget to commend Chan Gu's wittiness, that was rare.

Then right after that, he declared loudly and raised his right hand.

"Me..."

"So do I"

Of course, Long Fuzi and Mu Lingxi were obviously the ones who voted in favor of Fan Lei's side.

"Now, raised your right hand if you think we necessarily need to get ourselves involved at someone else's problem."

Fan Lei declared while indicating in a roundabout manner that voting for the opposing side was nothing but an act of being nosy 

 He even furtively glanced over at his friend's direction to see their reaction.

"It's not about getting nosy, It was more about preventing something awful to befall our friend."

Yun Xue tried to reason out his vote as he raised his right hand to cast his vote. Long Yue also followed afterward and raise his right hand as well.

Now, it was only Chan Gu alone who was left to decide whether to go against getting involved or not.

He has not given his vote yet. That was why all of his other friends were now looking at him

"Err... I  think I would just refrain from voting???? HEHEHE"

Chan Gu said as he made a peace sign and smiled back at his friends who were busy glaring at him as if he was someone who killed their lover.

"How could that be???? We only have six members here, and that includes you. It would be unfair!!"

Long Yue said.

Chan Gu would choose not to vote, it would mean that the other opposition will get one vote ahead of them.

That means that they would win because they would get the majority vote.

"Well, if I vote for going against getting involved. You two might have some bad feelings for me. But if I vote into getting ourselves involved, they might hate me either and my vote will also lead to a tie and it will only make things more complicated"

"But if you don't cast your vote aside, it would just still be the same as them winning against us. Because they will get one vote ahead from us. So you  might as well just give your vote to any of our sides and end it fair."

Yun Xue argued.

If they have to lose, then they might as well do it fair and square so he would at least feel at ease.

"Alright, how about this. Since we still don't get a consensus after voting, why don't we just do it this way? We could go and tell Schoolmaster Yin about it. But that was all. We will end it all there. No matter what happened after that, we won't ever get ourselves involved in it anymore. How was that?

Chan Gu suggested again.

When the rest of the group heard Chan Gu's suggestion, they nodded their head in agreement

"Yeah sure, let us just do it that way then."
