....VP LEE POV ....

Day of Accident

In a modern furnished office, befitting a man of stature sits a 40 year old man whose looks can only be described as handsome. Signs of the young heartthrob ever present. His true age is however on full display as the sides of his hair now include some gray and the outer line of his eyes wrinkling, oh so ever slightly.

Gazing out of the view that stands tall over the city, his eyes marvel in the sight of the grewish day and concrete jungle beneath.

The phone on his desk suddenly buzzes and he gets a notification from an unknown number,

'Order has been fulfilled'

A moment of silence fills the air as he realizes what this means.

Looking to the picture of the right of his desk, he apologizes to his friends but steels himself mentally

His phone once more buzzes, his been expecting this call for the last 5 minutes

Answering, he hears the voice of a female he presumes is a nurse, "Are you Mr. Lee.. Guardian of a Dylan park?" She asks hurriedly

He already knows what is next, and stoically answers "Yes"

"Please hurry to X hospital, there's been an accident!" She informs him

A cold s.h.i.+ver runs down his spine, even though he knew this would occur, "Is he still in care?"

"Yes sir, he us not in any critical danger. The blood loss has however caused him to fall unconscious and unresponsive. Please hurry" She says as she puts the call to a end.

'Phew.... At least what happened to Srang didn't happen to him'

He immediately calls for his secretary, "Call Director Na and the others to my office."

Five minutes later once everyone has gathered,

"Director Na" He says as he turns to the other group of males in the room, "Schedule an emergency meeting... Dylan has gotten into an accident"

Director Na who is the eldest of the bunch and has kids of his own, offers some human sympathy, "Is everything alright? Why don't you first go check up on him.. you don't have to be ..."

"Director Na, DON'T overstep your boundaries" He issues a warning, "We need to put S group first no matter what.... Bring forth the Chaebol (Family owned enterprise) successor removal agenda up for vote"

"Yes sir" They respond in kind and hurry off to get everything prepared

2 Days later

In the boardroom sits 19 individuals. 1 seat is empty as it waits for a seat that will not be fulfilled. Mr Lee sits at the head of the table and begins the discussion

"The reason, I called you all here is to inform you that ... Dylan is in a coma"

Those who were not privy to the news begin a vociferous debate.

He continues "I hereby propose the removal of Dylan Park as successor. Due to his inability to accept the post"

"Are you CRAZY!" Director immediately objects

"No, I am perfectly sane" He responds

"You have been in charge of his care since he was a kid... and you plan on backstabbing the child you raised? And you want us ( he points at the rest of them) to agree to that?"

"Yes" Mr Lee says, with a confident smile on his face

"Why should I do that?"

"Because... I've made you rich. How else do you think Mr Kachima would have been able to afford that new yaught and how about you- Mr Lu, how's the paris winery?"

"You guys aren't really going along with this c.r.a.p? Do you not remember what we all owe to Dylan's parents..... we wouldn't have survived, if his parent's didn't exchange their lives for the company.... We already robbed the boy of his right to his parents money because the company needed it. And now you want to kick him out of the company they saved? .... We swore we would do the right thing all those years ago, have you forgotten that the price of this company is not money but.... 2 LIVES!"

"Mr Lu, please. He will still be very rich... he will just no longer have anything to do with S group. We need to think logically"

.... The debate continues for a while.....

Eventually Mr Lee grows visibly irritated at the constant arguing and lashes out, "We need to move fast! I didn't call this meeting so we can keep arguing. Let's vote! And kick the kid out already....All in favour, raise your hands."

The vote proceeds as planned, 13-6. A satisfied smile fills the face of those in majority. Looks like the plan has finally come into fruition.

'15 Years. I've waited 15 YEARS! Finally!' Mr Lee screams internally as he sighs as if a weight is lifted and sinks into his seat content

As the Chief Operating Officer begins reading the result of the motion, the door to the room flings open and a a.s.sistant manager enters. Just as Mr Lee is about to reprimand him, for daring to interrupt proceedings

A young man in a hospital gown, enters the room, bandages still visible from the trauma he experienced, he flashes a smile as he asks

"I'm not late am I?"

Mr Lee, visibly shaking as looks at the unexpected guest.

"DYLAN!?"
