The K-Pop Dream 81 Countdown To Airing

Time has since flown by.

As I've spent the last month recuperating in the hospital.

Hora has even been forced to have her birthday party in a private hospital ward.

Our 1 year anniversary will forever be remembered by the smell of disinfectant and chemicals.

Not a day went by without my room being filled with guests, Yoo-ag even showed up a while ago.

She caused quite a stir, even a few newspaper articles were written about it.

But that's not all, Taesuk and Hyo even came.... granted with an entire film crew. They were shooting some variety show or something. It was pretty fun.

"Dylan are you decent?" A voice sounds from outside.

"Uh huh!" I answer

The door swings opens and in enters Won with breakfast in tow

" I thought you were decent" She screams swiftly turning around.

Lifting my head up, while I start b.u.t.toning my s.h.i.+rt, I smile perversely "I am.... just not the top half" as I parade around half naked with my chiseled chest on full display.

Won blushes a little as she places a coffee and croissant on the desk for me to have , "Get done, I've spent way to much time in this room in the last month. I really can't take another moment in the hospital"

I oblige and b.u.t.ton up as fast as I can doing a little twirl "Tada! All done. How do I look?"

"Choding (refers to "elementary school kid") " She says while being slightly amused at my antics

Taking a sip of coffee to fully prepare me for the upcoming battle, "let's go!"

"WAIT!?" she says as she hurriedly blocks my path

"What now?"

Grabbing me rather forcefully, She pulls me down to her eye level, looking me at her with deep eyes.

I momentarily find myself lost in them as she proceeds to lean forward and kiss me on the cheek, leaving a slight trace of lipstick behind.

"Morning kiss" She smiles and leaves me dazed in my spot as she begins to exist, "Are you coming?"

*Sigh*

"Coming!" I quicken my pace to catch up

Outside we are greeted by a horde of reporters.

Today is the air date of brilliant legacy/s.h.i.+ning inheritance, so the hype has been ramped up to a hundred and fifty.

Turning to the crowd I request their a.s.sistance, "Hey guys! you are blocking the entrance... Why don't you move over there (I point to an open s.p.a.ce to the left). If you do that, I'll answer 1 question from every one of you. So that you all have a story to write about. Deal?"

They agree and do requested.

I slowly help an elderly couple who was held up by the crowd entire, apologizing for the inconvenience.

The old man who was clearly frustrated looks much better after I compliment his wife and how he looks like his only in his late 30s. Which is clearly not true

Greeting them, I head over to the crowd that has gathered and begin answering every question fired at me, an impromptu press conference if you will

"Dylan... Dylan.. What is your relations.h.i.+p with Moon Won" A pretty female reporter asks

"Really good friends" I answer

"Are you sure!? You guys look like more than that" The reporter fires back

"I'll leave that up to your imagination" I give her a little wink, teasing her in provocation.

Won pinches me tightly noticing my actions, her face says it all 'You better stop flirting! right now'

" Isn't that her lipstick on your cheek?" Another questions

" No... Jam from the croisant. She's not wearing any" I answer

"How are you so sure about that?" Another ask

"No comment"

"Did you guys fall in love while shooting?" Another reporter asks

"I don't know... but you can find out tonight on SBS at 21:45. Tune in"

Not before long, night has arrived and my apartment is packed with guests.

Hora is busy herself making snacks in the kitchen, Jaeb.u.m is playing video games with one of Yuri noona's kids, while Won reads a story book to the shyer one of Yuri-noona's twins.

Yuri is also here and has been complaining since she's arrived about not having work all month and how she's going to make me work like an ox to catch-up for lost time.

I check the time the time before hurrying to the front of the television I'm like a little kid waiting for Christmas presents.

The twins seeing how excited I am make their way over to me, all excited.

"Hyung, what's happening?" Hyun, the excitable older of the two fraternal twins asks

"Something really fun!" I respond

"What? What? What" He asks excitedly.

I motion for him to come sit down next to me, as I lift little so-hee from the ground and onto my lap as I get her to start counting with me.

The two (or three kids) voices slowly sounding out in unison like a mini-tribal cry, "10! .... 9!.....8!.....7!.....6!.....5!.....4!... 3!...2!...1!"

"Waaah!" We cheer but nothing happens

Strange, its 9:45 ...

"Hyu.." Just as Hyun is about to question what's happening, I point to the screen as the intro begins.

Seeing Won and my faces in the beginning credits, Hyun excitedly shout "Waah look Mom! Dylan hyung and Won unnie are on TV!!!"

While So-hee's eyes cutely dart back and forth to confirm that the person on screen, really is who she thinks it is before deciding to watch the show with me, peacefully.
