The Vampire Project 44 Ara's Last Words

Ara and Stacy takes their battle to the skies. Even in the starry knight their fight remains visible to Slacovich and the rest of the black knights the in area.

"Watch the fight and witness how lowly your generation can be against us." Slacovich pulls Blu's collar and drags him out the warehouse. He's been surrounded by the black knights who also killed the rest of his men. Only him and Stacy remains alive and the latter's fighting against her greatest nemesis.

"Oh I'm watching. Just so you know, Stacy's the strongest weapon Volton can ever have. Aside from her the reapers are currently undergoing the same thing?" Blu's grin gives Slacovich the idea that Volton did something inhuman again.

"Ara can surpa.s.s everything. She already defeated Stacy twice and this third time will be the end of it." Slacovich says in confidence.

Up in the sky, Ara can't seem to figure out what's wrong with Stacy's movements. She's not really as fast as her but she can never dodge her attacks. She knows what's she's gonna do next yet she can't counter it in time. It's like she freezes by the moment Stacy's close to her. Ara activates the serums effects but this time, with the help of the new pill Harry gave them her strength and agility are greatly boosted. Her wings can even knock back anyone near her with just one flap. Her eyes from red turns to all black. Stacy is stunned in her place as she witness Ara's increasing powers. After settling with the serums full effect she attacks Stacy with one great strike. She's even faster than a blink of an eye that Stacy can't even block or dodge her. With consecutive punches and kicks, Stacy serves as a punching bag. Stacy bleeds everytime Ara hits her. Ara's attack are all in full blow. Ara grab both her hands and continuously kicks her left and right then she threw her up and receives her back giving her one final kick. Stacy falls down in great speed and creates a deep hole upon impact to the ground.

"Blu, I guess the weapon Volton is proud of is currently a dead meat."

"If I were you, I won't be that overly confident."

"Whatever you know, you better spill it out."

"No need, she's about to show it to you all." Ara lands near the hole checking on Stacy. She flies down the hole and to her surprise Stacy's not even there.

"Are you looking for me?" Stacy, her body disfigured and bleeding entirely slowly flies down where Ara's at.

"It's a surprise that your still alive. Your getting harder and harder to kill Stacy. I wonder what Volton fed you."

"Well, he gave me his own blood. Which makes me equal to you now. And aside from that--" Stacy's body start regenerating at top speed even Ara's healing ability can't keep up. With just a few second she's fully recovered and what's more.

"You're s.h.i.+ning like silver---- you're covered with silver."

"I am not just covered by it but I am implanted with melted silver ores. Volton converted me into a weapon which would serve me a great purpose for him. You don't know how painful it is. Being experimented is like dying all over and over again. But I didn't regret any of it if I can take you with me to h.e.l.l." Stacy spreads her wings which are now silver wings. Obviously, Ara can see pain in her as she spreads her wings.

"Silver can kill you, you know that right?"

"And silver can kill you too. That's the common weakness we share." Stacy flies high then Ara follows. From there, everyone below can see Stacy's new form which makes Slacovich worry.

"I told you, don't underestimate her. Her will to kill Ara no matter what it takes lead her to what she is now. One wrong move and Ara will die a painful death." In Slacovich's anger he stabbed Blu in the heart with his silver dagger. Bidding his final goodbye as he slowly turned into ashes.

"Ara be careful! Keep your distance from her." Slacovich shouts with all his might. Ara heard him and flies back a bit to maintain her distance.

"How sweet of your president to worry about you. That makes me even more eager to kill you! You're surrounded with people you cares about you even though you're childish and clumsy." Stacy rush to Ara's side and attacks her with her silver claws. Ara dodges every attack not letting a single scratch on her.

"How pathetic. While you're in that current state, the longer the fight the weaker you'll get. The silver in your body's starting to poison you bit by bit. All I need to do is dodge your every attack." Ara smirks and still dodging Stacy's attack. She can't hit back or she'll wound herself from hitting Stacy's silver body.

"You!!" Stacy doubles her attacks and retracts blade all over her body. The more weapon she deploys from her body the weaker she gets. Dodging her attacks is a piece of cake for Ara especially on her final form. Stacy's attacks are so useless if she can't keep up with Ara. She's extremely exhausted and almost at her limit. Anytime soon she'll just disappear into ashes and her battle forms main function will be useless. She eventually lose control of her body and falls down to the ground. Coughing out blood, she knew she's doomed. She can't even stand up anymore. Ara flies down and still keeps her distance to make sure Stacy won't do anything.

"We could have been good friends Stacy if you're not that greedy."

"Hah, what a joke. From the moment I saw you, I never intended to be your friend. You took the spotlight from me and even seduced Timothy. He's the reason why I entered the entertainment industry. And you destroyed everything. In the end, you still managed go defeat me." Stacy secretly cries in vain. Her life's completely at a loss. She can't even make Volton proud. Then an idea struck her midway. She gathered up all her remaining life force and slowly flies above the people from the black knights and Slacovich.

"Stacy what are you planning to do?" Ara followed her. When Stacy's right above Slacovich and the others she covers herself with her silver wings and with all her strength she spins at high speed throwing silver feathers down to the people below. Slacovich hides behind the car while the black knights uses their s.h.i.+elds to block Stacy's sudden attack. Stacy aims for the car that Slacovich uses as s.h.i.+eld which at any moment will explode and will expose Slacovich. Ara can't let anything happen to Slacovich. He helped her so much and treated her well ever since. She can't afford to let someone she loves gets hurt again. With great spead she rushes towards Stacy. There's no way of dodging the feathers, the speed and numbers of feathers coming from Stacy is too much for her to dodge. Even the black knights one by one falls down to their knees. She can see them lying down on the ground lifeless. Slacovich also got hit a few times and still trying to help the others get out of the scene. She must stop Stacy no matter what. She gathered all her strength cause she knows this is suicide but there's no other way.

"I'm sorry Tyler, Ania, everyone. I guess this is the only way." She spread her wings and flies towards Stacy at full speed. She just receive every feather that stabs her and when she's in front of the spinning Stacy she grabs her with all her strength to stop her from spinning.

"Ara!! What are you doing!! You're gonna end up killing yourself if you stay there!! d.a.m.n!! My feet are paralyzed, I can't move!!" Slacovich struggles to be able to take Ara away from Stacy but the feather got him good. Ara stopped Stacy from spinning but she's also covered with feathers. Stacy then opens her eyes and grab Ara by the shoulder. She then aims her wings which now looks like swords and stabbing them both at the same time. Slacovich and everyone else witnessed Ara's bravery and heroism. Slacovich focuses his strength to his feet and catches Ara's falling body. Stacy's body turns into ashes as she falls down and finally disappears when she hits the ground. Ara's body is fully covered in silver feathers and fours swords stabbing her. Slacovich removes the swords and the feathers but Ara stops him.

"S-laco-vich--- p-lease t--ell T--yler I'm s--orry. s f---or --n-ia, p-lease t---ke g-oo-d c-----are o-f h-er-----" Ara slowly turns into ashes after saying her last words. Slacovich screamed in despair. They lost one of their family.

"VOLTON h.e.l.lGAZER YOU'LL PAY A GREAT PRICE! I'LL ANNIHILATE YOU AND YOUR MEN!!" Ara disappears in his arms and all he can do is cry for his lost. Also from 28 black knights more than half of them survived. If Ara hadn't intervene for sure they will all be wiped out. They helped the injured and calls for an medical units and back ups.

The stars seems to fade away like they mourn for a friend's death. Her ashes are kept in a gold urn with her name on it. Slacovich doesn't know how to break the news to the others especially to Tyler and little Ania. The sky shows it's sympathy and suddenly starts to pour like it crying heavily for their lost. Everyone's down, Ara who's been so positive and charming ended up dying because of them. Their heart's weary and grieving. The night seems to be forever and time doesn't feel like moving at all. They're all caught up in a heartbreaking scene that playbacks every now and then.
