The Vampire Project 45 The Master Hypnotis

"Slacovich, I am truly sorry about what happened to Ara. She saved my men's lives and they won't forget about it, so do I." Vera sits beside Slacovich who's been outside in the cold night.

"Hmm, how's Ania?" He asked without looking.

"She fell asleep crying. The child's been traumatized. She's been locked up in that room for days without enough food to sustain her body. It's a miracle that she still survived starvation with her tiny body."

"She's like Ara. Tiny but strong. She's the only one left that will keep Ara's existence alive. Ara wanted for her to live well."

"Did you tell the Queen about the news?"

"I don't have the courage to break it to them. Besides, they also have a situation of their own that they need to handle as of the moment. I don't want to distract them or it'll be more troublesome once anger takes place in their hearts."

"I agree. I'll take care of it when the Queen's matters at hand are settled. You should go in and warm up. Even if your a cold-blooded vampire, your still more human than the others. I'll get in first." Vera left him sighing seeing his depressed face. Vera stops the news from reaching Volton. For he'll obviously use it on his advantage against Sofie and the others.

At Sun dormitories, the hunters and the new students gets along pretty well. They managed to hide their ident.i.ties and mingle with them like ordinary students. With them knowing one of these new students might be the master hypnotist Volton implanted in the University. The fact it being a male lessens their trouble on checking every student. Tyler and Diego decides to blend in with the students and lived in the boy's dorm. They are roommates with new students. One hunter approaches them and informs them about his new roommate's disappearance every night. Tyler informs Li who's in the security room to check the cctv.

"Mr. Tyler, Fred's a new enrollee in our cla.s.s and my roommate. Since he stayed in the dorm, he's been acting quite suspicious. Every night at 11 he would sneak out. I don't intend to follow him or I'll blow my cover so I just keep pretending to be asleep and just observe."

"Clarence that's good. What time does he come back every time he leaves?"

"2 am. But last night's odd. He didn't go out. I wonder if he knew I was just pretending."

"Diego I'll inform Li about this Fred guy. Try to ger close to him if you can. Just avoid suspicion." Tyler leaves the two of them and heads for the security room.

"I'll do what I can. Clarence go back to your cla.s.s now." Clarence bid his goodbye and then leaves Diego. On his way to the hall he sees Fred walking away. He seems to be in a hurry. Frpm his direction it can be that he heard him talking with Diego and Tyler. One way to find out, he followed him and ended up in the rooftop.

"Fred! Tell me the truth. You aren't here to study right?" Clarence didn't go around the bush and just ask him straight on.

"Heh, why am I here if I don't want to study?"

"You heard us talking. You won't immediately turn around and leave the area if not."

"Clarence I don't what your talking about."

"Don't play dumb." Clarence walks slowly towards Fred.

"If you're that smart, then you know exactly whom you're messing with." Fred removes his gla.s.ses and stares into Clarence's eyes. The latter tried to close his eyes but his too late. His now under Fred's control. Fred whispered on his ear, then he went down without being conscious on what he will be doing. Clarence went straight to the dean's office where Sofie and Carolina were having a tea. The dean went out to do his daily visits on the cla.s.srooms.

"Oh, Clarence cla.s.ses are still going what brings you here?" Carolina greeted him the moment the door opens and see him coming inside. There's no answer from him but he continues to walk closer to them. They can see the he's not being himself. Without a word, Clarence lets out his dagger and attacks Sofie. Sofie dodges and Carolina moves towards his back shrugging off the dagger and pinning him down.

"What's wrong with him?" Sofie asked as she takes the dagger away from his reach. They heard someone clapping by the door. Fred's there grinning on the scene.

"Queen Sofie in the flesh. Here my bidding!" A shadow guard appeared beside her and covers here vision. One also appeared to protect Carolina.

"So it's you."

"Exactly. Your shadow guards aren't playing around huh. They're quite impressive."

"You can't control me so just surrender to us."

"I can't control you, that's true. But---"

"But what?" With one snap of his fingers, the new students began to act weirdly. They all stand up from their seats and walks out from their cla.s.srooms. The hunters tried to shake them and stop them but nothing happens. They're being controlled. The dean rushes towards them informing Carolina and Sofie about the commotion. Diego, Tyler and Li helps stop the students from walking away. All are heading towards the rooftop.

"Fred what are you doing?!"

"h.e.l.lo Mr. Dean. Aren't you supposed to stop your students from committing suicide from jumping off the rooftop?" He grinned maliciously.

"You b.a.s.t.a.r.d!" Even Nicholson's controlled by Fred just by one stare. He also joins the students on their way to the rooftop. Fred leaves them and Clarence managed to snap back to his senses.

"Miss Sofie, Miss Carolina what's going on? I was just following Fred on the rooftop and confronted him why am I here."

"He controlled you and made you attack Sofie. Don't think about it for now. There's a more serious problem we've gotta deal with." Carolina looses her grip and help him stand up.

"Let's save the students. He won't let us off the hook that easily." The three of them went out of the building. They can see the hunters gathered in the open field looking up at the building. The new students are all standing at the edge of the buildings. From their spot they can hear Fred's laugh.

"Hahahaha! This will be a great headline for tomorror. SUN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS JUMPS OFF THE BUILDING. What will happen to you now."

"What do you want?" Li asked him as she flies towards him. Followed by Tyler and Diego.

"Hand over Queen Sofie and I'll free them all at once."

"No deal."

"Then you make me do this--" five students suddenly jumps off the building. Diego catches two of them, Tyler almost didn't make it in catching the other two and Li catches the other one.

"d.a.m.n you!" Li's about to attack but Diego stop her. If either on of them gets controlled it'll be even more harder to deal with. They put down the students beside Carolina and Clarence. Sofie spreads her wings and then flies towards where Fred's at.

"Finally made a decision my Queen? Hahaha."

"Yes, but not what you're expecting it to be." Sofie smiles making Fred panic a bit.

"What are you smiling for? Don't you want to save them?"

"Let them all jump down if you want. My life's more precious than those lowly humans. That includes you." Li and the others are puzzled on how Sofie acted.

"You're just a vicious vampire. All of their deaths will be beacuse of you!"

"We'll see. I can clear my name and the University's name by using you as the scapegoat. You're the one who controlled them and made them jump. So you're the killer not me."

"But you can stop me from doing this if you just surrender to me."

"I don't want to repeat myself. My life's even more precious than theirs. If that's all I'm going now." Sofie slowly flies down. In Fred's anger he told the students to jump off.

"EVERYONE OF YOU JUMP OFF NOW!" To his surprise, only few of them obeyed and were caught by the shadow guards. Slowly putting them to the ground while the others where lying down unconscious.

"Surpise, surprise." Sofie turns back at him grinning.

"What did you do?"

"You maybe a master hypnotist but you have quite a temper. Destroying your focus and agitating you makes you furious making your controll over them weak. I may not be a hypnotist but I can show you what nightmare looks like." Sofie turns into her ulitmate vampire form. With her black eyes she stands face to face staring into Fred's eyes. The shadow guards conjures around him and he feels like his been devoured by darkness. The students who were unconscious suddenly stands up and all are b.l.o.o.d.y and disfigured like result of them jumping off the building. They slowly crawled up to him meeting his eyes and dripping his blood all over him. Sofie steps away and the shadow guards disappeared. All they can see is the screaming Fred who's totally freaking out. The hunters runs towards the roof and helps the students. Tyler and Diego bring Fred down who's gone crazy.

"Sofie what did you do?"

"Giving him a piece of his own medicine. Just an illusion I made with the help of the shadow guards. A hypnotist's mind should be strong to be able to fully take controll on his victim. When I figured he's easily agitated, I made use of it and made him furious to weaken his control over the students. And a.s.sualt his mind directly while it's open before he can recover. Now his useless but we won't let Volton take him back. The black knights will handle him. They'll pick him up in a bit."

The matter in the Sun University has been resolved bu their hearts will never have the time to prepare for the news that's coming their way.
