VAMPIRE SYSTEM IN ANOTHER WORLD 4 Chapter 4: Village Agartha

I then encountered more bears with 4 arms. From the memories of the knight, they are called bear (plain and simple) same with the deer. Then I heard the announcement.

I felt the pleasures of leveling up. Alot of black gue started to come out my skin. It stunk so bad. It was impurities being purged out of me. I searched for a nearby lake or river to wash away the impurities.

I found the lake. It was beside the village in the large opening. I saw the village was under attack by the goblins. I also saw the goblin chief with them.

"Nice! My objective is right there. But first, i gotta wash up first. I feel icky right now! Let the villager handle it. I am not oblige to help them anyway!" ?

I stripped and bath at the lake while watching the show behind the rocks. The village was having a hard time especially when the goblin chief showed up, the attacks increased. The village was almost overwhelmed until a hero came by. It was a grand knight. It was fighting evenly with the goblin chief. From the memories of the knight corps. The hierarchy of knights are:

- Royal knight

- Supreme knight

- Magic knight

- Grand knight

- Knight commander

- Knight

- Squire/ knight apprentice

"I guess they are pretty powerful! My strength is probably a knight commander. Or maybe a grand knight give or take."

I haven't yet tried out my strength as a level 5 vamphir, so I cannot compare it yet. I just watch the fight while bathing in the lake.

The grand knight successfully defeated the goblin chief. The rest of the goblin warriors flee after seeing their leader killed.

"There goes my objective. You win some, you lose some i guess" ?

I dressed up and headed towards the village.

"Halt! Please show your identification!" - (Gate Guard)

"Sorry! On my way here, I dropped most of my things while fleeing from goblins. I only bought money to get by!" I said

"Oh i see! You should get your ID from the guild. I can only issue you a temporary pa.s.s and it will be 5 silver coins. The entrance fee is also 5 silver coins. By the way! Why is a kid like you wondering around the forest? How old are you 6 maybe 7?"

From the memories of the knight. You can o ly register in the guild when your 10 years old. Due to the goblin blood I ingested. My age looked much older than what i really am.

"I'm 10 years old sir, I just look young for my age." i said. I gave him 1 gold coin which equals 10 silver coins. Got the temporary pa.s.s and a map of the village.

"Well little guy, Welcome to Agartha Village! I also recommend you to stay at the Boars Inn. My name is Billy Boars, it's my family's Inn. Just tell them i sent you and you'll get a discount!" -(Gate Guard Billy)

"Sure thing Mr. Billy sir. Thank you, I will stop by after I finish with the guild process." i said

I headed to the guild to get an ID. This is also one of my goals to live in this world. I went towards the receptionist and handed the temporary pa.s.s to her.

"Hi! How may I be of service?" (Receptionist)

"I would like an ID made since I lost mine in the forest, also I want to register for the guild!" i said

She looked at me and said "How old are you? Are you old enough to register. We don't accept anyone younger that 10 years old." said the receptionist.

"I know ma'am. I look young for my age. I just turned 10 a month ago" i said. I made a pocker face to prevent her from noticing me lying.

"Okay fill this form and return it to me when you are done. The fee for the ID is 10 silver coins or 1 gold coin. The guild registration is free, but the test fee is also 1 gold coin." she said.

I filled the application form and paid 2 gold coins. I was then escorted to the training grounds to get tested. I was soon greeted by the test officials.

"Hey! What do we have here? You lost kid! This ain't no lost and found desk." (Test official)

"This kid is here to get tested John! Bring him back to me when he finish will ya!" the receptionist said and waved goodbye and left the area.

"Hahaha! Sorry about that kid! You look so young for me to test. Okay then, grab one of the wooden swords and let us spar to see how good you are in swordsmans.h.i.+p." (Staff John)

I grabbed one of the wooden swords from the pile. "Are you ready?" i said.

"Ha! Just attack kid! Just testing you is just like a big joke to me! (Staff John)

"Okay! Just don't tell me i didn't warn you!" I then attack with advanced sword techniques with speed and power.

"What the f-!" (Staff John)

(BOOM!)

The staff official John was blasted towards the wall. His whole body was indented on the wall. He was now unconcious.

Since I can't wait all day. I headed to the receptionist and told her what happened. She had her jaw wide open, nit believing what just happened.

They then applied potion to staff official john which helped him wake up.

"WhWhat happened?" (Staff John)

"You just got your a.s.s whooped by this kid!" (Receptionist)

"Sorry! I did warn you though!" i said

"Hey kid! Are you a grand knight? That speed and technique is that of a knight." (Staff John)

"Maybe! I haven't tested yet. I was last tested as a knight commander though." i said while lying convincingly.

"That explains it. You should have warned me you are above a knight commander, because i am one you know. I can grant you a C rank adventurer. Anything above C rank have to be tested by the guild master. I welcome you to the guild ah...let's see Michael was it?" said staff official John.

I nodded and shaked his hand for acknowledgement of equal position. I then got my ID and Guild card from the receptionist.

"Can I sell some beast cores and materials here?" I said

"The exchange is next door at the warehouse. They will issue you a slip which you can exchange back to currency." (Receptionist)

I thanked her and headed towards the warehouse.

"Hi! Can I exchange my stuff here? I have a lot to exchange!" i said

"Oh~! Just empty your inters.p.a.cial ring in the room over there." (Warehouse manager)

I nodded. I then dumped 300 beast cores, 100 rabbit corps drained of blood, 8 bears and 3 deers.

"Wow! You even drain the blood in which will help me process the materials and meat easier. Let's see...from my calculations, it should come to 570 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze coins." (Warehouse manager)

I agreed and he then write up a slip for the said amount and then i exchanged it back at the guild. Afterwards, I headed towards the Boars Inn for my stay in the village. The price with the discount is 2 silver coins. It includes the meals breakfast, Lunch and dinner. I booked the room for 30 days which is 6 gold coins. I then went to my room.

The room is small. It has. twin size bed one table and seat and a wardrobe cabinet. It also has a bathroom for bathing. No toilet though. If i need to go, there are outhouses seperated from the inn.

I took a bath and went to bed for the night.

The next day, i explored the village. It is more of a town than a village because the size is pretty big. I stopped by the library and read many books trying to get more information about the world. Thanks to the system, all information was quickly recorded in the . I checked encyclopedias and dictionaries. I can feel a skill is forming.

I went to the library everyday. People think I'm becoming a scholar instead of an adventurer. I doesn't bother me though. I spent my days reading in the library and also buying books at the bookstore. After 25 days, I already read all the books in the library.

(DING!)

[LEARNED

"I knew it! This skill is a S rank skill. I hit the jackpot!" i said. "Well i better prepare to leave soon. Gotta get some of the weapons i got sold."

I then went to a weapon shop and sold all the weapons i acquired except 1 knight sword and 1 dagger. I also kept a leather armor just for show.

After the weapon shop, i then went to the clothing shop to buy more clothes. I exchanged the inters.p.a.cial ring i got from the knight corps to a better fitting one. Since the ring is too big on my fingers. The only downsize is it has less s.p.a.ce. But I don't use it anyway, since i got my inventory.

5 days later...

"Time to head out!" i said. I checked out from the Inn and headed to the village gates. I said fairwell to Billy the gate guard and headed off to the east, away from any human settlement. My goal is to hunt different races to steal skills and level up. Also to enjoy this world.
