Seth sat patiently and wait, the moon was almost here. These cells they were in were made of silver, and couldn't be broken by a werewolf, but Seth had a different way of getting out, it was his trump card, a way he stayed ahead of the hunters and the Tuyks.

Finally that feeling reached him, he s.h.i.+fted and grunted, the cells lit up with roars, bangs and barks, some clawed at the walls, some tried to ram the doors, but Seth remained calm, there was no need to resort to physical exertion. He closed his eyes, earlier he got a look at the map inside one of the offices of the guards, and saw where s.h.i.+va's cell was from his, he then tensed, and in a plume of smoke he was gone.

s.h.i.+va sat waiting, already s.h.i.+fted she despised her form. No muzzle, her size not even that great, all thanks to her stepfather. It was his fault she turned out this way, killing the one person she loved, after making her drink his blood, she knew she would never be as powerful as a full wolf, but she never stopped her pursuit of power. Derrick reacted, he grabbed one steel chair and laid it's backrest on the table so the sitting side of the chair hung down, he then timed it, the wolf lept, he drew the table back and tilted it, the legs of the chair now pointed to the sky and the wolf fell right into them, impaling her right through. Derrick went into his next word of advice

"When you get the gap, f.u.c.king run like you mean it!" It was as if Michael was there with him, he darted into the direction of the front yard.

"Animals smell your stinky sent son! And trust me, when you're scared, you smell very f.u.c.king pretty, so get some distractions out there as soon as you can!"

Derrick didn't stop running and took his tux jacket off and threw it one side, then ripped his s.h.i.+rt off, lifted a rock mid run tying it inside it and threw it in another direction, he did the same with his vest, and shoes, making sure each one goes in its own direction then he reached his goal at a duck pond.

"Make sure you have a way out, no use running into a dead end like a stupid guineafowl!"

Across the pond there was a grid covering a storm drain pipe, he saw it earlier as he walked with Kara, he lept in and grabbed hold of it, his adrenaline already pumping, it gave him that advantage he needed now. Derrick grunted and yanked out the steel grid from the already water brittled cement mountings, he got into the pipe and closed the grid as best he could behind him, then headed deeper into the pipe.

Kara roared of pain, the one chair leg had her right through the heart, she slowly pushed the chair out then collapsed to the groud, she knew she would heal, but a shot to the heart severely drained her strength, as all her adrenaline now focused on that main organ.

"Kara! Are you ok!?" Sasha yelled coming over to her. She, Luna and Maxwell was watching from the second story windows, and couldn't beleive the MacGyver stunt Derrick just pulled.

"Im ok, which direction did he go?"

"He headed to the front garden"

Kara got up, her heart and other wounds healed, slowly she felt her strength return, then bolted after Derrick, his smell in the air, she followed it only to find his tuxedo jacket disposed off. She threw it down and followed the next scent trail, nothing, he tricked her! His scent was all over the place now! Finally the last trail went into the pipes and she roared, she couldn't fit in there, and he could have gone in any direction.

Hes here! Kara heard him! She quickly lept into a tree to hide from a pa.s.sing car, then dropped down and headed to the next storm drain inlet.

Derrick took a chance and pa.s.sed the inlet, the roar came and he felt the claw hook his pants, screaming Derrick clawed forward with his arms, and kicked at the claw behind him with his legs.

"f.u.c.k! f.u.c.king f.u.c.k!" He yelled finally being safely deeper im the pipe, Kara tried to hold her laugh, she never knew she'd enjoy it this much to cause a human to scream in terror. She moved to the next inlet and waited there.

Derrick new he was now just up the road from his streets intersection, about two hundred meters, he didn't have any other way, and if this thing followed him home, who knows what then. He lied there thinking for a while, then and idea came to him.

Every thirty meters there's an inlet for water to drain from the road surface, and every twenty or so meters a pipe that leads this water down to a slightly bigger pipe that ran parallel underneath the road, these pipes are accessed through man holes in the middle of the road... He was going to try something that might be dangerous, but it could result in escape. He went down this much narrower pipe leading to the bigger one, it was dark and smelly, Derrick started getting claustrophobic, the air was thick and hot, he couldn't turn around now, the tunnel was too much of a tight squeeze and got tighter as he went down. Just when he thought he was going to get stuck and die down here, the tunnel exited into the larger pipe, he crawled untill he found an opening where the ladder led up to a man hole. He breathed out, building courage, then climbed up. Lifting the man hole cover as slowly and silently as he could, he looked out into the direction he presumed the wolf would be, and to his luck, there it stood, still sniffing at the inlet, he got a close look at it, the moon making its fur slightly purple blue, its ears twitching, scanning, its body... Derrick couldn't help notice it's female, and very well toned, he somehow found her attractive, but that doesn't change the fact that she's trying to kill him. She twisted herself and layed with her tail to him, looking into the inlet, perfect.

Derrick threw the man hole cover up, then dropped, the man hole cover landed next to her, making her roar and turn on him, out of sheer anger she took a dive head first down the hatch with him, Derrick screamed seeing this, he fell down on his back, and kicked himself deeper into the pipe, she almost had him.

"Fuuck!" He yelled, his heart pounded his ribcage, this could mean the police would come. He checked his ancle bracelet, his heart rate read one fourty four, its still good, the police come when it hits one fifty and over. Derrick then looked at the wolf, she was stuck now, and couldn't get herself back out the vertical pipe. He sighed and aimed to crawl away, but then a sudden wind came blowing through the pipes, at first Derrick enjoyed the breeze, but the wolf behind him started to panic. He looked at her, she was yelping, trying to push herself back up, but to no avail, then the smell of water came with the breeze, and Derrick knew whats going on. As fast as he could he scrambled to the next man hole ladder, jumped up to it just as the water came by, almost dragging him down with it. He climbed out and took a deep breath, success. Down the other man hole he saw the wolf now only its upper body under water, frantically trying to save herself, he felt in his heart it wasn't right, yes she tried to kill him, but he didn't like watching animals suffer, if she was... really an animal.

Kara panicked, she was totally submerged, and her breath was running out, how did she allow this to happen!? She got totally outwitted by him! And now she was going to drown! The first werewolf ever outsmarted by a human... Maybe it was best she did drown, she couldn't handle the humiliation, she relaxed, and allowed fate to take its course. Derrick reached down quickly and grabbed her paw, with all his strength he hoisted her up out of the water, Kara coughed making him feel relieved, he really didn't want to give this thing CPR. Kara was dumb struck, seeing him save her, he brought her up just so she could grab hold of the short ladder, then he let her go and ran to his house. He didn't think she would care if he saved her, animals are animals, he knew he only gave her another shot at getting him, so he was using all his strength to run as fast as he could, As this happened, his heart rate climbed above one fifty, and in the distance the first sirens started coming closer, he heard it and looked back, the man hole cover was closed, but the wolf was gone.
