After knowing that his target was Hayley Marshall, he knew that if he wants to find her, he'd definitely find her in New Orleans. He knew he couldn't get to New Orleans just by flying straight. Even if his ki reserves were huge, he would get hungry often. But he likes to fly. It made him feel unrestrained and felt like he was above everyone.

[like literally he was above them]

As Max was flying in the sky freely through a huge gra.s.sland, but he soon kinda lost his way and was searching for a nearby town, but he felt like he was being watched. His senses were all going haywire. He felt an ominous premonition. Today he just didn't feel right. Something was bugging him and he didn't know what.

Just like his guess, a lightning strike was headed his way from the storm clouds and fast too. He knew he'll die if he was. .h.i.t by it, so he used all his energy and formed a barrier similar to an energy s.h.i.+eld all around him screaming hard.

But this lightning seemed a bit more powerful than the usual ones. It tore through his barrier and hit him. He felt that lightning traveling throughout his body, he tried to restrain it, but it rampaged his body without his consent. He knew that he wasn't going to die as his s.h.i.+eld blocked most of the lighting, but he wasn't willing to take any chances when it comes to his life. Soon he was unconscious and fell from the sky in the middle of gra.s.sland.

After a few minutes his soul flew out of his body and was standing beside it and shouted, "f.u.c.k!!! I died just like that! This isn't right. Something isn't right. Who? Who did this?"

But there answer he got was not what he was expecting. A voice of an old man came from his side, "It's me, brat. You miss me?"

Max was all too familiar with this voice. It was the G.o.d that helped him reincarnate in this world. Max turned to his side and shouted, "Old foggy, was the bounty that much tempering that you had to kill me? huh?"

The G.o.d frowned hearing Max call him old foggy. But he calmed himself saying that he's a benevolent G.o.d, a righteous G.o.d. And said, "Well, don't shout, kid. You're not actually dead. Look at your body, it's already started healing."

Max looked at his body and saw that it was healing slowly calmed down. He looked at G.o.d and asked, "Well, from the looks of how the lightning hit me, you definitely didn't 'miss' me, as it's a perfect shot. So why did you do it? I mean I didn't do anything wrong that requires me to be hit by lightning."

The G.o.d calmly said, "I was planning to meet you when you were meditating, but this was the connection is better. Here I can directly talk to you in your soul form. And you didn't mediate after leaving town so you gave me no choice. It was fun though."

Max roared again, "Fun?!!!!! FUN?!! I almost thought that I died!!!"

G.o.d smiled and said, "Well, not almost, you literally thought you died. And if you're as old as me you'll know that having fun is a privilege. Okay, I don't think we have much time. So let's get started. I came here specifically to let you know something. I wanted to contact you earlier, but you were too busy."

Max stopped how shenanigans and become serious, "Okay. What is it? I don't think you'll go to drastic measures if it isn't important."

The G.o.d seriously said, "I came inform you about something which I had left inside you. And also about one of your wish."

Max confusedly looked at G.o.d and asked, "What do you mean?"

The G.o.d said, "Do you remember that I told you that I left something extra for you when the last time we met?"

Max thought about it and said, "Yeah, you did. But I don't remember having anything special. I thought you cheated me."

G.o.d frowned and said, "I didn't cheat you, brat. I left it in your body but it wasn't suppose to show up when you're near Beacon Hills. now that you're this far away I think it's about time I let you know about it."

Max asked with doubt, "Why didn't it get activated in Beacon Hills?"

G.o.d simply said, "Well, if we're to live in that town forever having fun with your family and friends, it wasn't suppose to get activated and let you live a almost normal life there. But looking at you now, you seem unrestrained, like you've cut your shackles from that small town and travel outside."

The G.o.d paused and thought of something and continued, "Well, you're traveling out and adventuring, do I decided to help you activate it."

Max was getting more and more curious, "What is it that you want to activate? What's it's use?"

The G.o.d patiently said, "It's a technique to channel dimension energy. It helps you travel multiple dimensions. With your current strength I think you'll only be able to channel enough dimensional energy for the nearby world, and that too barely. So as not to get shredded in s.p.a.cial storm half way, I suggest you train one more year before you try interdimensional travels. Learn that Sage Mode to channel energy faster. With ki sense you'll be able to sense nature chakra and dimensional energy with little effort and absorb it earlier. But be careful while doing this, you could end up dead easily."

Max was dumbfounded hearing this. He was expecting something like s.p.a.ce storage, or a system. But he didn't expect this. He was surprised and disappointed at the same time. Surprised because he could travel multiple series worlds, disappointed because he wasn't strong enough to safely travel now. But he was happy hearing about Sage Mode's uses.

G.o.d then continued, "Ok, that's about it about that dimension channeller. Now let's get down to one of your wish."

Max asked, "What do you mean about my wish? Don't plan on taking anything back. What's given is given. Don't try to take it back."

G.o.d was a bit angry hearing this, he couldn't believe that the brat thought that he was this petty. So he made a decision, "Brat, I was going to tell you something important about them. Looks like you don't wanna listen, huh. Well, alright. Let's see you next time."

Max suddenly knew that he screwed it with his big mouth this time. "Wait, wait, yo.." Before he could finish G.o.d pushed Max's soul into his body again and went off.

After a few minutes Max opened his eyes and shouted, "You didn't tell me yet!!!!" But n.o.body was there to listen to his shouting.

Now Max knew that there was a secret in one of his wishes, but no matter how he thinks it over, he couldn't find anything in it.
