Standing on the training ground beside Leo were two figures everyone were familiar with.

Do you want to kill him?!! One of them yelled. The other figure carried Leo and infused mana into his body. Leo opened his eyes and was given a "grade four mana" restoration pill. As he swallowed this, he started recovering his mana. Two other figures appeared beside Leo and joined in scolding Edward and Vanessa.

Travis, Sarah and Gunther, walked to where these people were. With a bow, they greeted them,

Gunther, Travis and Sarah {together}:"greetings, your graces". Saying this, they immediately left the training ground to their various duty posts.

Able to scold Duke Edward and d.u.c.h.ess Vanessa, these people were none other than their parents. These figures were, Heaven Knight Thomas Gonzales, at the 2th stage, the strongest man in the kingdom and also the general of the army in the Northstar kingdom and his wife d.u.c.h.ess Cecilia, an Earth knight 2nd Stage expert. The other figures were Minister Henry Sparks, the emperor's advisor, an Heaven Knight at the 1st stage and his wife, d.u.c.h.ess Emilia, an Earth Knight also at the 2nd stage.

Thomas and Cecilia were Edwards' parents while Henry and Emilia were Vanessa s' parents.

Thomas: what the h.e.l.l were you about to do? Beat my grandson to death?

Looking at Leonardo, Edward sighed and said,

Edward: Son, you pa.s.sed our test and you just officially became a knight. Let's head into the house shall we?

They all headed inside the house and Leo went straight to his room to have a bath and rest.

Everyone sat round the dinning table. Andrea and Andrew were also present.

Andrea and Andrew: Grandma!! Grandpa!!

They playfully jumped on their grandparents.

Henry: now now, kids, come grab a sit and let's eat.

Half way into their dinning, Thomas spoke

Thomas: uhmm hmmm. So when do you plan on joining the academy?

Leo: uhnn(looking around), well, during the next entrance period.

Edward: Do you really want to go there? I mean, your mother and I could teach you all you need to know Leo.

Leo: I need to make friends dad. Or do you want me to become a social outcast?

Vanessa: what your father is trying to say is he would miss you Leo. He's just to proud to admit it.

Emilia: oh, these kids grow up so fast. I still remember when Nessa first left home. She cried so much and....

Vanessa: (spitting out the drink in her mouth) mom!!! It's enough. This is about Leo not me.

Emilia: awwwn, sweetheart, you don't have to be shy about it.

Everyone laughed looking at Vanessa's tensed facial expression.

Vanessa: (interrupting the laughing session) How about my sister, Clara?

Captain Clara, Thomas corrected. As a general, he knew it was disrespectful to address a high ranked officer by name.

Henry: She became captain some weeks ago though.

Everyone ate and discussed different matters. On Leo's mind, he thought about how he would fair in the academy. He wanted to make friends his age. He was not sure how he would interact or behave around others, so he hoped and antic.i.p.ated for the day of the entrance exam into the school.

For the next month, Leo spent most of his time having fun with his family, especially his siblings, who would cling to him always, whenever they were awake.

It's been two months since Leos duel with his parents. In two days time, he would journey to the Northstar Academy. All he needed was in his s.p.a.cial ring. He still had his millions of gold to spare as his father still gave him an extra million. In truth, the path to cultivation was really expensive as you needed pills for cleansing the body, blood, restoring mana and so on. Also, the more effective the cultivation material, the greater and likely possibility for advancement.

Two days later, Leo was ready to leave for the academy. Standing in the courtyard in their home, he said his goodbyes and got ready to leave. Edward summoned his mount, a majestic winged tiger, and climbed its back. With a slight tap, the tiger took of and they headed straight for NorthStar Academy.
