Rico, 19 years old.

Rico got accepted to Dineon college and he was on the way to Planet Dineon. Inside his s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p, he looked out and saw the normal looking planet.

Planet Dineon did not look special at all. It looked totally normal. However, looking at the planet, Rico's heart was beating faster.

"This feeling is getting stronger… I guess I went to the right place," thought Rico as he was patting his chest to calm his fast beating heart.

While looking at the planet, a maid came to Rico and briefed him about the planet. Everything that the maid said was something that Rico had known when he decided to attend Dineon College.

When his family knew he applied for a college that was located in a small star sector, everyone did not consent to his decision. However, they agreed later when Rico persuaded them.

The talk about the feeling he had was being discussed by his family. They tried to figure out something but none of them found out anything it.

It was not a curse or a skill cast by someone. So, there was nothing they can do. Since Rico was curious as to where the feeling was leading him, his family decided to let him investigated it himself.

Rico's family bought a huge apartment for him to stay in Planet Dineon as well as sending many maids to take care of Rico. The maids were in no way a normal maid. They were all high-level explorers.

The maid's job was mainly to protect Rico from harm and taking care of his daily necessities. If Rico wanted something more from the maids, he needed the consent of the maid.

Rico and his maids arrived at the s.p.a.ceport on Planet Dineon and headed straight to the apartment his family bought for him. Though his feeling were asking him to go somewhere on the planet, Rico refused to do so and decided to go to his apartment.

As he arrived at the apartment, there were more maids in the apartment. They arrived much earlier than Rico to clean and decorated the apartment. As there was nothing for him to do, Rico rested for the day.

Opening his geniusphone, Rico read everything he had already read before about Dineon College. Since there was nothing else interesting, he decided to end the day and went to sleep.

It was the first day of college and Rico was wandering around the faculty to get used to the college. His feeling was getting stronger and stronger but sometimes it suddenly went weaker.

It was like, he was getting nearer or further from the thing that his feeling was leading to. He had no idea what it was trying to lead him to. As he had started remembering the layout of the college, Rico was looking serious and decided to follow where his feeling was leading him too.

He had somehow an idea as how to use that feeling as guidance. As he was walking around with his feeling as guidance, he arrived in a cla.s.s full of students.

His heart was beating like crazy and he wondered what it actually led him to. "What is it that you are trying to show me?" asked Rico to his feeling when he looked inside the cla.s.s.

He looked back and realized that it was actually the cla.s.s he needed to attend on his first day. With that realization, Rico went inside the cla.s.s and looked around.

Nothing special about the cla.s.s and it looked exactly like normal cla.s.s. Nothing extraordinary or anything of the sort. Rico tried looking at the students there and thought that perhaps, his feeling was leading him to someone.

"Is it a girl? Something like my soulmate?" thought Rico and he immediately dismissed that thought. If it was true, he was not interested in it.

While he sat at his seat, he observed everyone in the cla.s.s but his feeling was telling him that it was not them. Rico sighed as he did not know what else he should look in the cla.s.s.

While he sighed, suddenly, his heart was beating faster and faster. Rico was shocked and thought that he might be getting a heart attack if it continued beating that fast, he looked around and suddenly, a student came into the cla.s.s.

Rico looked at that student and he looked ordinary. He was slightly handsome but nothing too much. He had light brown hair and eyes. His height was about 174 cm and his attire were what normal people use to wear.

Looking at that guy, the fast beating heart calmed down immediately and that feeling disappeared. However, out of nowhere, Rico's tears flowed out of his eyes.

"Huh? What is this?" Rico was surprised to see that he was crying. He wiped his tears immediately before people around him saw that. He also tried to hide his face as his tears did not stop.

"What the? Why am I crying? Why is it not stopping? Who is that guy? What did he do to me?" many questions played around in Rico's mind. He did not know what actually happened. He was clueless.

Rico decided to leave the cla.s.s as his tears did not stop or he did not know how to stop them. He got back to his apartment and the maids was shocked to see him crying.

The maids reported everything to his family and they called Rico to ask him what actually happened. Rico told them everything that happened to him that day as well as the feeling had totally calmed down.

The crying had not yet stop and he was talking to his family while crying. His family was quite worried looking at Rico crying like that though Rico said that he actually did not feel anything. He felt totally normal but he cannot stop his tears.

Since Rico did not know the name of the guy he saw, his family cannot do any background check on that guy but Rico was cleared that the feeling was leading him to that guy who he had never once met in his life.

Rico secretly called his father and asked him if perhaps he was cheating and that guy was his illegitimate son but he got scolded by his father immediately.

His father did look a bit fl.u.s.tered at that statement from Rico and from that he knew that his father might have been cheating with another woman.

"So, that guy might be my step brother?" thought Rico. His tears stopped at midnight and after that, he felt the calm he had been wanting since he started having that feeling years ago.

On second day of his college life, he found out the name of that guy. It was Cade. He took a picture of Cade and investigated everything about Cade.

However, the investigation did not give him anything useful. Other than Cade being an orphan since he was small, there was nothing else.

Rico tried doing a DNA test between Cade and his father secretly and unfortunately, it resulted in the same thing. He was not his step brother. Rico got scolded by his father hard for doing that.

His father already had many wives and he did not need anymore woman in his life. Rico was actually relieved to find out that Cade was not his step brother because it will prove that his father was cheating.

Though his father had many wives, he married them legally with the consent of his family. So, if he found out his father was indeed cheating, it will be an all-out war between his father and his mothers.

With everything done to find out about Cade, Rico met a dead end. He did not know who Cade was and what was Cade's relations.h.i.+p with the feeling he had.

Rico as well as his family had no idea who Cade was and, in the end, decided to stop investigating Cade. They said that Cade was harmless and said to Rico to observe Cade while he was attending Dineon College.

Rico had been observing Cade when they met in cla.s.s. He never went and talk to Cade as he knew that Cade was quite similar to him. They both was not the type to talk a lot. He finally found out something that he thought connected Cade with him, their personality.

However, that was not enough to say the connection they both have. Rico continued observing Cade. Not to the point he was stalking, he was merely observing him when he saw him from a far and that was it.

For a year of observing Cade, he found out how the feeling he had worked. The feeling he had was somehow connected to Cade. If they were both near each other, for example in cla.s.s, if Cade felt extremely happy or sad, Rico will feel that way too.

Cade's feeling was the only one affecting Rico but not the other way around. Other than that, when Cade was in danger, for example when Sera was attacking Cade, Rico will know immediately and that feeling will ask him to act against Sera.

The same situation happened when Cade was injured by the humanoid toad. The feeling was torturing Rico with the same pain Cade felt at that time and asked him to act against the humanoid toad though he had no idea where it was.

Rico found out later about that after Cade was sent to the hospital. The new discovery about Cade's feeling affecting Rico created concern with his family.
