Mantou got up and threw many shurikens towards Scarlet surrounding her from all directions, he then performed a series of hand seals while consuming a large amount of chakra. He then shouted "Earth Release: Phoenix Explosion".

Suddenly the shurikens which were surrounding Scarlet were ignited in fire shaped like a phoenix. Scarlet felt danger and enhanced the chakra of the Chakra Armour. Soon a shuriken collided with her chakra armour as an explosion occurred. Scarlet felt a huge force against her Chakra Armour, the first two layers of the Chakra Armour were destroyed.

Scarlet was shocked as she thought 'what the h.e.l.l? How did this guy get such a high ranking jutsu? I need to protect myself first'

Scarlet then surrounded herself with nine tails chakra to defend herself. Then other five shurikens were coming towards Scarlet, Scarlet managed to dodge three shurikens but could not escape the other two.

A huge explosion occurred when two shurikens collided with Scarlet. Mantou was exhausted as he has overdrawn his Chakra in order to perform this jutsu but seeing the collision he felt it was worth it. One of the root ninjas who was hiding said: "Wouldn't we fail the mission if target died". The other root ninja replied "you don't need to worry, the target is jinjuriki of nine tails. So even if she is injured she will not die. All we need to do is pick up her injured body, now let's go closer"

Mantou laughed "This is how you pay for your arrogance little girl" He heard a voice "Really?"

Mantou's face was filled with fear when he heard it, his body was sweating all over. He saw a figure of a girl appearing out of the explosion. Her body was surrounded with a terrifying Orange chakra, her clothes were battered, blood was flowing from some injuries which healing at a high rate visible to the naked eye, her hair was floating in the air and swirling continuously, and her face had an angry expression.

As Scarlet walked towards him step by step Mantou felt his death approaching him, he regretted it. He regretted underestimating Scarlet just because she was a little girl, just because she was a genin and now he is paying the price for it.

Scarlet approached Mantou and put her hand on his collar and lifted him up. Mantou gathered some courage and said "Little girl, you better leave me. My father is one of the high ranking s.h.i.+n.o.bi in the village hidden in the stone. You will not want to offend him."

Scarlet replied "There is no way I will leave you besides aren't you a rouge ninja why do you think he will help you. Didn't you say your name is Ichisaki Mantou, I don't remember any high-rank ninja with the surname Ichisaki"

Mantou hurriedly replied "Of course his surname is not Ichisaki, I am his illegitimate child so I took over my mother's surname. I stole this B-S rank jutsu 'Phoenix Explosion' from the village, I was almost caught when my father rescued me and sent me outside the village. So better leave me or else my father will not spare you"

Scarlet replied "If your father dares to disturb me then I will personally visit the Village hidden in stone and finish him off. First answer my question, who told you my location?"

Mantou replied "I don't know him, he said that he was the one who put the bounty and as long as I defeat you and give you to him he will give additional 2million along with your bounty price"

Scarlet asked, "Where did you plan to meet him?"

Mantou replied "He said that he would appear after I defeated you"

Scarlet then slit his throat as she said "Thanks for the information", she then took the ninjutsu scrolls he had.

Scarlet then used her s.p.a.ce power and sensed that the three elite chunin level ninjas were retreating. Scarlet sighed 'I guess I have to take a gamble by fighting them with my remaining chakra'

Scarlet then disappeared in a flash and chased those three people. Those three people sensed her approaching and got tensed. Scarlet appeared before the three people and saw three people wearing masks. One of them had purple hair, another one had black hair and the other one had blonde hair.

Scarlet then said "My dear guests, why are you in such a much hurry, leaving without even greeting me?"

The purple-haired ninja rushed towards Scarlet and threw needles which he kept in between his fingers. Scarlet dodged and tried to escape the needles but one of them managed to strike her.

Scarlet then removed the needle and act like she was feeling dizzy, the purple-haired ninja let his guard down and approached Scarlet. He suddenly felt danger but before he could react Scarlet slit his throat. The blonde ninja made a series of hand seals and said "Mind transfer jutsu".

Suddenly both the blonde ninja and Scarlet stopped moving. Taking advantage of the situation the black-haired ninja used 'Shadow binding jutsu' as a black shadow went towards Scarlet's legs from his legs. The man said "Shadow binding jutsu success, now I need to wait for him to do his work"

In Scarlet's mind,

Scarlet looked at the blonde man in front of her and said "Interesting, so you belong to Yamanaka clan. Your master might be s.h.i.+mura Danzo right."

The blonde man s.h.i.+vered as heard Scarlet's words. He shouted at her "You… You are not supposed to know his name, how do you know about him?"

Scarlet replies "So my guess was right, you are indeed a root ninja. Well now obediently tell me about yourself and your organization."

The blonde man replies "In the root, we have no name. We have no feelings. We have no past. We have no future. There is only a mission. My loyalty only belongs to Danzo sama. I will either bring you to Danzo sama or die trying."

Scarlet replied, "It is very foolish of you to enter the mind of a jinjuriki."

Scarlet asked with a playful tone "Would you like to meet Nine tails"

The man felt very scared when he heard Scarlet's words. Every ninja in Konoha remembers the terror of nine tails so they are very scared of it. Now Scarlet's words completely scared him.

Scarlet went towards a cave as she said "Kyuubi chan, we are having a guest here, won't you greet him"

Nine tails woke up, it looked towards Scarlet as it said "What are you disturbing me for little brat, I was having a nice nap here"

Scarlet replied "I didn't want to disturb you, it's just someone desperately wanted to meet you. He said that he was your die-hard fan"

Scarlet then looked towards the blonde man so did nine tails. The man s.h.i.+vered endlessly facing the glare of nine tails. He inwardly thought 'Why did this girl pit me with nine tails? Who will be a die-hard fan of that monster? Anyone facing that monster will have a hard death, probably this what die-hard fan refers to in this case.'

Nine tails looked at that man with interest and said "Brat, you came to meet my esteemed self"

The blonde man nodded as he said "Yes, Kyuubi sama. I have heard of you brave fight against the G.o.d of s.h.i.+n.o.bi and I wanted to witness such a legendary being"

Nine tails felt angry as that fight was the shame of his life and now this brat is saying that he likes that fight. Nine tails reveals a large amount of killing intent towards him.

Scarlet took advantage of the situation and asked "So will you reveal anything about your Organization"

The man refused to reveal anything, Scarlet then sighed as she said "Well, I have no use for you now, I will now kill you so that you will not return to your body"

Scarlet then revealed a large amount of killing intent. The man felt that Nine tails killing intent paled in front of hers. Scarlet then held his neck with and pressed hard. The man died as he disappeared from Scarlet's mind.

Scarlet said to nine tails "See you later Kyuubi chan"

The black-haired man became vigilant as the blonde man suddenly collapsed. Scarlet then opened her eyes to see that the shadow from the black-haired man was attached to her.

Scarlet thought 'First a Yamanaka then a Nara, it seems that Danzo has a wide range of s.h.i.+n.o.bi in the root'

The black-haired man said "You will pay the price for killing two of them after you become one of us"

Scarlet tried to escape but she couldn't. Scarlet was already tired because of the battle with the rogue ninja and two root ninjas. Scarlet then tried to extract nine tails chakra when she felt two familiar chakra nearby.
