Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura were a.s.sisting Idate to win the compet.i.tion. Idate took the bead at the Modoroki shrine and chased after f.u.kusuke. Just as he was going to cross the bridge, Aoi kicked Idate. Aoi then laughed "I am going to capture you three genin, Idate ask that girl to bring me the sword of the Lightning G.o.d if she wants them alive".

Naruto got angry when he listened to his words, he shouted at Aoi "I will never be a burden to my sister. I am going to defeat you and finish the job that my sister left."

Naruto made a Rasengan and rushed towards Aoi. Aoi felt the danger in that jutsu, he opened his umbrella and drifted back dodging the attack of Naruto. Just as he felt relieved for dodging the attack, suddenly he felt danger and became alert. He felt someone behind him dodged sideward, Sasuke's Chidori could only damage Aoi's s.h.i.+rt because of his timely dodge.

Aoi's mood was getting worse, at first, he thought that Scarlet was an abnormal genius of Konoha, that is why he lost to her. As long as he could kidnap the three genins who are weak, he could ask the sword back as ransom. But now he is witnessing these kids using dangerous rank jutsu which made him want to cry! Why are the genin these days using such terrifying jutsu!

Aoi wanted to retreat and target them individually, just as was about to escape, he trigged a trap and then got stuck to a tree. Aoi thought 'When did they arrange this trap? A little girl with pink hair appeared before him and said with a smirk "I saw that you were at a disadvantage in the fight and made the trap in case you escape.

Aoi used a kunai to the rope, left with no choice he decided the fight with these three genins. Aoi put upon a battle posture while holding some poison needles in between his fingers. Naruto used 'Multi Shadow clone jutsu' and made several clones, Sasuke held some shuriken in between his fingers and put upon a battle posture.

Just as he Aoi was about to throw needles a large chakra fluctuation came from the forest. Taking advantage of the situation Naruto and his clones rushed towards Aoi and beat him up. Sasuke looked at the direction where fluctuation came and said "Isn't that the direction where Scarlet went"

Hearing Sasuke's words Naruto also got tensed, Sasuke knocked out Aoi and tied him to a tree. Sasuke then told Sakura to accompany Idate while he and Naruto will look for Scarlet. Sakura agreed and hoped that Scarlet was alright.

Sasuke's eyes turned into a three tomoe Sharingan as he headed towards the fluctuations and Naruto followed him. Sasuke kept moving forward when he saw a corpse with its throat slit. It reminded Sasuke of the corpses he witnessed in the land of snow and immediately concluded that the murder was Scarlet.

After getting a clue that Scarlet was nearby Sasuke went ahead where he witnessed a corpse, a blonde man who seemed to be alive but unconscious, a black-haired man and standing in front of him was Scarlet. Scarlet seemed to be struggling to move which confused him. After looking clearly he saw a shadow attached to Scarlet's leg from the black-haired man's leg.

The situation confused him. Why would someone from Nara clan fight with Scarlet? What is going on?

He then heard his words "You will pay the price for killing two of them after you become one of us"

Sasuke and Naruto who was beside him were p.i.s.sed off when they heard that the black-haired man wanted to take Scarlet.

Sasuke immediately used Chidori, Naruto used Rasengan and rushed towards the enemy. Sasuke was about hit him when he dodged but he had to let Scarlet go in order to survive. Unexpectedly he was. .h.i.t by Naruto's Rasengan and crashed onto the trees. Sasuke went to the place where he fell and stabbed his heart.

Sasuke and Naruto went towards Scarlet and saw that her clothes were battered and stained with blood, she had some injuries too and got angry. Naruto asked Scarlet "Nee-chan why did they attack you? And why didn't you inform us about them?"

Scarlet felt sorry and said "Sorry Naruto you too Sasuke, actually do you remember that Jurochou asked me to stay when we went to meet him. He then showed me my picture which had a bounty of 15million. I did not want to bring trouble to you during the mission so I tried to defeat them myself"

Sasuke asked, "But why are the s.h.i.+n.o.bi from Konoha attacking you?"

Scarlet replied "Not s.h.i.+n.o.bi from Konoha, to be specific s.h.i.+n.o.bi from the root. That Danzo wants to make his 'subordinate' no Slave should be the right word for it. So he sent his men to capture me after I was defeated but unexpectedly they died in our hands"

Sasuke's hatred towards Danzo grew to an unprecedented level. His family was killed because of Danzo, his clan was ma.s.sacred because of Danzo, his brother was called a traitor because of Danzo and now he wanted to make the person he loved a slave. Sasuke resolved that he would kill Danzo in the most painful way as possible.

Naruto asked "What root are you talking about? Who the heck is this Danzo guy?"

Scarlet replied "I will tell you everything after we return to Konoha. First, let us complete the mission"

Scarlet, Sasuke and Naruto went towards the finish line.
