Song Xia furrowed her brows as she innocently blinked, "I didn't break my promise. It was you who called the police not me."

"..." Ellen became speechless hearing Song Xia.

Living Room, Ellen's House

"What?!" Tang Yan's eyes flew wide as he listened to the both of them. "You used my name to beat that Tang father-daughter duo?! I can't believe.." Song Xia rolled her eyes as she spoke, "It was just for a short while! He seemed to be trying to lower me in front of everyone's eyes, So I had no choice but to say that I'm your sister."

Song Xia paused before continuing, "Moreover, they even believed me with that!" Tang Yan was not convinced, "What am I going to do if Mom and Dad would find out?!" Song Xia scoffed, "It's just a small incident! They wouldn't know about it!" Tang Yan warned her, "Look, Xiao Xia, if my parents find out that I have a 'sister', you will have to bear the consequences!"

He then asked her again like a curious kid, "How did you two even meet by the way?!.. You, weren't you out for a date with your boyfriend?! And you, weren't you going to your office?! You two... Did you two actually start dating behind my back?!" He asked while pointing at Song Xia and Ellen.

He crossed his arms as he stroked his chin, "So, Xiao Xia, the boyfriend you mentioned was Ellen and Ellen, the business partner you mentioned was Xia?! You should've told me right from the beginning! Now because of that, your secret has been revealed so soon! You don't have to thank me for being such a genius.."

"..." Song Xia and Ellen were speechless.

Song Xia and Ellen both stood up as they went to their rooms, leaving the boastful Tang Yan on his own. Seeing them leaving, Tang Yan yelled, "Hey, you two! ..Where are you going?... Where's my compliment?!... Even though I said don't thank me, it doesn't mean that you cannot praise me a little... You..." He looked at the author and the readers, "Can anybody tell what's going on here... Where's my praise? It is such a torture to be a genius.."

Song Xia's Room

Song Xia groaned as she looked at the closet full of pink clothes. "Is there a fact that every girl likes pink color that they actually stacked up all pink clothes in this closet! There isn't even a single cloth of other color than pink! I need to talk this out with this guys once and for all!" Song Xia took out a random pajama and took a shower. She then stormed off towards the living room where those bunch of arrogant boys were.

Downstairs

Tang Yan was munching chips as he watched his favorite Chinese drama on the television. On the other hand, Ellen was busy talking to his other business partner in Project C, Fang Group's CEO, Fang Zhi. "CEO Fang, it's okay... We didn't discuss much... Yes... Maybe, he would... Thank you... I understand..." He was still talking in his phone when he heard Song Xia's hurried footsteps. He frowned as he hung up the phone and scolded her. "Xiao Xia, Don't run on the stairs like that! You'll fall down and get hurt!"

Song Xia pouted as she slowed down her steps obediently. Tang Yan said in a shocked tone, "I thought you were her boyfriend... Now I realize that you... you're her father! How can you get her to obediently obey your orders?!" Song Xia almost slipped on the stairs when she heard the word 'Father'. Ellen sharply gazed at Tang Yan as he yelled, "Who are you calling 'her father'?! ...You're her father! Your whole family is her father!!"
