"finally," thought jax as he made his way to a platform to take his award

"congratulations mr miller, no master callidus," said his instructor as he smiled proudly while handing jax his new robes

"you've come far," said a young man in a trainee outfit as he came up to congratulate him, jax had recently become acquainted with him.

"thank you," Kaecilius said jax as he gave thanks and and went up to the podium to give thanks to the audience after rows of masters and trainees alike began applaud.

jax noticed the ancient one at a balcony at the far right corner of the hall holding a fan in her hands she gave him a nod of approval.

that night jax could not sleep, he had a lot of thoughts in his mind and was still a bit jumpy from the euphoria of his hard work bearing fruit, in the last two years he had taken several courses in the mystique arts and had visited double the amount of lectures, he had even been given a name by most of the teachers 'callidus ' which was latin for clever one. He had visited many masters to both debate with and ask questions, his ideas although at times fascinating were still in the boundaries of the laws they followed, however this facade kept jax safe during his stay in this place. Jax had made sure to stay as low as possible from the ancient one's radar, he did not yet plan to mess with her until he was sure of his preparations, a year ago he had began to make contact with his people and gave them an order to slowly start coming to karma taj they had each a liable backstory with evidence to show and each one of them continued their studies of magic and they steadily began to populate the place. although the ancient one was juiced up with a little of dormamu's power she was not all seeing, jax made the most of the blind spots he had found in areas around karma taj to leave and take care of his business.

"soon i'll get my hands on that book," said jax with a smile as he lay down and closed his eyes

"master callidus, is this correct" said kaecilius as he came running to jax with a book in his hands, he had considered jax as he's mentor since coming to karma taj and was enthusiastic about his studies.

"how many time kaecilius," said jax sternly

"for one to be a great mystique master one of the the most important essentials is one's mind, go have a rest" said jax with a smile as he pointed at phrase in K's book and circled it and turned to leave

"thank you," said K with a happy smile as he left with his nose in a book

"hehehe," snickered jax, he knew why kaecilius was here earlier than expected because he had contacted HQ and had them slaughter his family and had him watch it, it had broken him mentally which made memory conditioning pretty simple for those lab coats HQ, he found it slightly funny that kaecilius would find the murderer of his family his mentor.

jax had him sent here early in order to keep a close eye on him, he did not need any loose ends who were in anyway related to the proceedings of an inter-dimensional being who existed outside the boundaries of time.

jax loved the peace of these places almost as much as he loved experiments, the feeling of being by himself and left in peace to read and what he wanted was practically intoxicating.

jax was sitting and reading a book, as he had got his robes he had then moved on to learning greater forms of the art of magic. it seems that magic was further broken down into 4 columns that were not explained in the film.

jax had chosen enhancements as his profession this was an ancient magic used to create and increase the power of weapons this profession which has been used through the the ages due to the stories told of many myths that centre around powerful weapons, this certain magic although not powerful on the battle field could increase the power of even a random leaf on the floor and make it sharper than a sword, although he had a long journey ahead of him in order to become adept in the subject and enter the stage of grand master which no one except the ancient one had reached in the last couple of centuries, she had not said what she became a grand master in however she was proficient in all four columns of the mystique arts.

"hmm it seems this certain subject of magic may be able to help me continue research into evolution," said jax as he put the book down and began to concentrate on the new robes he was given he sat legs crossed and placed his palms on the robe and closed his eyes, suddenly a light began to come from his hands as strings of hieroglyphs came from his fingertips and began to wind themselves around the robe. the robe began to levitate in the air in front of him for two minutes as the string of symbols wrapped around the robe and came together to make an emblem for wind

"huhuhuhu, f..final..finally," puffed jax as he he's eyes blasted open with a faint light glow and cracked crimson from the concentration he suddenly coughed and blood spattered from his hands onto the floor, his skin colour became pale as blood almost drained from his body.

"that took a lot outta me," said jax exasperated but with the same continuous smile plastered across his face as he pulled out a pill from his back pocket and took a swig of water from the desk and washed it down after that he picked up the robes and studied to study the changes

"hmm, the texture has become more soft and the weight has decreased a little" he said as he took of his old robes of and donned his new ones

as jax fitted the sleeves he could suddenly feel twice as light as he was in his old robes, he felt practically weightless as he took a step and realised his foot had landed firmly one step above the ground.

"hahahaha, this isn't flying but it'll have to do," he said with a smile as he began to run around in the air while, he tested his balance and realised that modern laws of physics such as friction did not seem to matter to this ability, he could slide and run perfectly from any angle without losing his balance.

" lets do a field test," he said as he twisted his sling ring and hopped into location of miles and miles of green hills, jax took a step and began to hop, run, skip and jog in the air. he even tried to see how high he could go, however it seems the ability only worked on the presence of air meaning with it was worthless in s.p.a.ce.

jax did not mind, he had just started and could not wait to see what else he could achieve with this study subject, he quickly slinged to his room to get papers ready.
