it had been a week since jax had done his first enhancement and he was already trying out other functions on the subject he had even gone on to writing new symbols and patterns not yet known of, jax had taken advantage of astral time to read most of the books in the library that he had access to and was currently in the middle of a test.

"almost..nearly," he said as he tried to fix a symbol in the floating gold, matrix of magical programs that had taken him 3 days and 2 nights to put together.

he was currently doing an experiment of enhancement magic and he himself was the guinea pig, he had been infatuated with how this certain mystical subject operated. the fundamentals left him gasping as the opportunities for it was practically limitless, however he had come to a certain roadblock when the idea of ma.s.s production came to mind. it seemed that certain laws did indeed take effect even in this realm, in order to enhance any object whether it be a leaf or a sword the right amount of soul energy needed in order to carry out the enhancement.

jax had been stuck on this for most of the week until one night he had figured a slight loop hole around the problem however the said loophole was also life threatening. the books of enhancement magic mostly talked about enhancing common objects as basics and weapons as advanced knowledge, the reason was simple a common object with little to no soul energy had no conscious inside them therefore the vessel inside had limitless s.p.a.ce to grow which also made it useless if the object was lost or damaged however when it came to biological based creatures this was like having a personal weapon all the time and however they carried a conscious and this made it next to impossible to succeed in enhancing a conscious being. the conscious could not take that kind of stress before collapsing all together leaving the said creature brain dead, jax spent hours upon hours trying to figure out a way to nullify and if not ease the burden that could be put on his conscious, finally the answer hit hard....really hard because he was quite surprised for having forgotten about it, jax could gather several ordinary people and use an ancient anagram he found that he could use to extract large quant.i.ties of soul energy could then use the flame inside his chest to act as a funnel to refine his soul energy to continuously feed both his body and soul energy which could help him survive the enhancement.

jax still remembered the first time he tried to tinker with this flame, it was a little after he had taken the boosted super mutant serum while also being affected by the energy of the tesseract, some of the excess energy created an anomaly in his body. a flame that did not stop burning but seemed to work like a second heart, if jax concentrated he could almost feel the flame pulsating in his chest. at first he thought it was just temporary then a couple of hours later jax was eating raw meat and just as he swallowed he felt his body pulsate as the flame inside condensed, contracted and returned to the same size. after that jax felt like his strength had increased very slightly, after that incident jax tampered around with it and came to the conclusion that it was good it seemed that the flame converted anything he ate into energy which was then used to grow his strength, it also helped energy flow systematically around his body like an energy heart which jax found helpful but he still felt that he scratched the surface of it's possibilities. it was after coming to the taj that he had opened his eye's to it's uses and he then began to use it more efficiently like for example instead of eating food and collapsing from the digestion he would eat as much as he wanted then start a session of deep sleep in a magic egg looking spell.

"hyaa, haaah" said the trainees as jax was at the front with his light borwn enhanced robes and held a staff while instructing them, the ancient one was looking over the session from a balcony she nodded at times to give approval to some trainees, jax was feeling anxious but he kept as calm as possible he was currently waiting for a moment to leave but he had to first be present in order not to show suspicion. he had even stayed in the taj for a couple of days to make sure people didn't notice he's disappearances, this had left him behind schedule but none of that mattered if he was caught it would lead to a fight which he had around 40% chance of winning without the correct preparations.

"and thats time, well done everybody suh" said jax as he gave the complementary hold fist salute

"everyone to the hall," said jax as he then made his way to put away the equipment, he noticed from the corner of his eye the balcony being empty the ancient one had already made her retreat to the hall to give her daily talk to the rookies then meet with some masters

"time to get going hehehehe," he said as he made his way into a comer on the training ground and he then threw out a symbol, the symbol floated in front of him then it split into two then placed itself on his eyes. jax could feel his vision change as he could see orange and gold leylines that wrapped around the taj, he picked a line and followed it and made it to an intersection he then put two fingers on the intersection and pulled it apart and created a slight gap which he then stepped through. jax quickly placed the lines back and deactivated the eye symbols, it had taken a lot of practice for him to learn this technique.

"d.a.m.n ancient one, when i'm done i'll take everything you hold dear and shove it in a meat grinder including you," said jax and he meant it because these leylines that he had discovered ,after trying to find out how the ancient one knew everything, had been one of the toughest problems he had to deal with however jax found certain intersections that could be moved but he had to do it quickly before it alerted the ancient one.

" time for the fun part," he said as he whipped out the sling ring and jumped through into one of his old bunkers he used years ago, it had been cleared and cleaned up by some of the clones before it was deserted, jax had used this for most of his mystical experiments in the last year or so.

"looks like the cookies are ready," said jax as he walked up to the matrix he had been working on for the last week

ever since the discovery of his blood jax had been quite excited at the idea of turning into a dragon but it soon became impossible when he found out that he had only a sliver of dragon blood, it seemed that the density of dragon blood in him was quite small therefore this could stunt he's growth for future evolution and he was having none of that.

"bunker AI activate," said jax

"yes sir," said a feminine voice and the bunker began to light up and the computer at the front and began to operate again, on the screen a vibrating face showed up

"connect me to the HQ mainframe and get chief on the line," said jax

'connecting'.....

"sir ," said a gruff voice as chief showed up on the screen he wore a cap and had the khaki clothes on he also seemed to have two metal arms.

" good it seems that the adamantium synthesis was a success, what about your mutant abilities," said jax as he talked while setting up some runes

chief simply raised his arm and the silver arm bean to glow orange as heat began to build.

"pyro or combustion?"asked jax

"combustion" replied chief as his arm began to cool down as four sockets on the arm released a lot of smoke.

"nice, it also releases pressure," jax with a hint of approval

"anyway how are our targets?" asked jax

"so far stark has been handled he has since then become a business magnate and has worked vet well with the government and we in turn gave him a lot of support and in about 3 years he's wife will give birth to tony stark and as for xavier he's help has worked wonders for the subjugation of mutants we gave them protection and they come like flocking sheep, buckie has been incarcerated for 5 years and we gave him extra doses of the hallucinogen including extreme therapy , a strong dose of SSS and training with some of the other older generation lab rats that we used for the SSS he won't be waking up from this nightmare, as for Hank Pym it seems that he has yet to invent the pym particles and we need him for that so we have left him alone but we have kept tabs on him and installed cameras and explosives in his house and we also took took care of his wife by implanting snake venom in her spinal cord while he was away if push come to shove we will act," said chief as had summarised the past couple of years

"well done, i'll contact you when i'm done with this magical job centre..oh and by the way what about the watcher he is a key aspect of my plans," said jax as he finished setting up and wiped sweat from his brow.

"we have the mechs set, we have already used the tesseract energy and installed mini pendulum refractors in each mecha and we have already created a weapon to subjugate it, we are only waiting for the coordinates," said chief as he took a puff of a pipe

"here i'm sending them now, those magic monks seem to know of its existence as they believe it is neutral, so make sure to act fast so it does not send for help," said jax as he began to type down numbers, after he switched of the screen and began his first enhancement on a conscious based life form...himself.

jax then connected some plugs and pipes into his spine chord, bones and flesh using magic after that he then stepped over piles of dead husks that were once considered human and began the experiment.

jax sat cross legged in front of a giant matrix of gold symbols that had the symbol of a dragon on it, he then began to make hand signs and each sign made the matrix s.h.i.+ne even more until he's eye's glowed red and he floated on into the matrix. jax could feel his skin begin to burn yet he's face did not change as he moved his conscious inside him, jax could see inside himself and he thought he was in a volcano he could see roots of lava that spread across he's body and he's orange heart and organs each covered in scales he then moved his attention to the flame as he threw a symbol on it.

outside his body tanks and tanks of light grey coloured soul energy began to make their way through several tubes and into his body, back inside jax could see an inflow of energy making its way through him and towards the flame and watched as the flame began to refine the energy and send it pumping into his body, jax could feel as he was turning into his true form as he's heart began to beat slightly faster and he's body was shaking. jax could also feel his conscious was growing in strength as before he could clearly see inside himself now he could practically count the blood cells flowing in his blood vessels.

"i need to act quickly before the energy runs out," thought jax as he quickly made a some more symbols and threw them into his blood stream, this was like throwing water into boiling oil as his blood began to bubble uncontrollably and move even faster around him. outside his body began to release smoke from his nose and mouth while in his dragonoid form but jax did not care he could see he's blood rising inside and he began the next step, jax then moved the matrix and let it begin operating on him he could feel as the blood in his body began to condense several times and each time it did jax would throw another symbol to increase it again, this happened several times until jax's blood began to change from scarlet red to slightly orange to to yellow and finally gold.

"almost done," thought jax as he could feel the strain on his conscious until he heard he heard a roar from inside him he noticed that he's blood had gone deep gold and the flame had become scarlet red and it had become bigger.

jax quickly waved his hands and the matrix quickly began to fade and he's body floated on to the ground.

jax inspected the changes as he noticed he had gotten even bigger, he's scales had become st.u.r.dier and he's hair had grown all the way down his back jax also noticed that he was as big as double Decker bus and he could now breathe and emit fire from his mouth and palms without using any incantation or magical program finally jax noticed that his eyes now could see energy, he quickly looked in the mirror and noticed that his pupil's were gold

"it seems i am not yet in a complete dragon form however my dragonoid form is still growing, i need to meet a real dragon in this world," thought jax

"i guess i'll be visiting kunlun soon," said jax as he returned back to his regular form and got ready to return to kamar taj.
