Lucky Unluckiest 8 Chapter Eigh

I walked her home.

We were talking nonstop about some random things and without realizing we reached her home.

When we reached there I waved her goodbye and she did the same. That's it. I have to go home now. Alone.

Logan, what are you even saying? Alone? You are freaking alone all the time. It's what you've always been. There shouldn't be a reason for you to be upset over being alone. You are used to of being alone. You've found peace being alone.

I brushed off my thoughts as I turned around and started walking towards my place.

For the first time I could feel the b.u.t.terflies fluttering their wings in my stomach as I made my way home. I was smiling nonstop. I didn't see a reason for smiling this much but I also didn't see a reason not to so I just let my emotions take over me for the first time and I have no idea why.

Kicking a single rock until I reached my house and then feeling upset that I had to say goodbye to that little rock. I've never felt these little things before.

I don't normally feel these kind of emotions while walking back home. I usually feel good walking home because at home, I am the most comfortable but... but this feeling was more like mixed up. I felt happy for what happened today and then a little gloomy because of the 'goodbyes' and now I feel blissful and a little sad at the same time.

It was 6pm when I reached home and while opening the door, I got a call. It was from Liam.

"What happened?" I picked up the call.

"Where are you?" He asked me. I could hear him panting.

"Why? What happened?" I asked him back, my eyes widened from concern.

"Where are you dude!?" He seemed worried.

I wonder what happened.

"I just got home. Why?" I was so worried.

"Then wait for me there." He said and hung up the phone.

I worriedly put my phone in my pocket and went inside. I

thought about all the bad things that could actually happen.

I was actually very worried.

When I got inside I took out my phone and waited for his call imagining the worst scenarios that could actually happen.

Then the bell rang. I rushed to open the door.

I saw Liam with a pizza box. "Hi! Pizza delivery!" He said giving me one of his biggest smiles.

"What the h.e.l.l!!?? Liam! You got me so worried that I couldn't think straight." I shouted at him angrily.

"Oh my G.o.d my best friend loves me so much." He said making his way to my bedroom.

Sometimes he annoys the s.h.i.+t out of me but this was much worse.

"Liam it wasn't funny! Stop being a s.h.i.+t and get a little serious. Stop joking around about stupid things. It was not funny at all, it was worrisome!" I let it all out.

There was a silence for a minute then he turned around and rolled his eyes. Then continued settling himself on my couch and getting the remote.

"Come sit." He said patting on the sofa

Thank G.o.d he didn't reply because I didn't want to hear his answer because I have no one other than him and I don't want to break our bond.

I sat myself beside him as he opened the pizza box. I felt that he was upset but he's good at faking smile and so he did smile when I asked "Where did get this pizza?"

"What do you mean? I bought it." He replied me with a laugh.

And we watched television having pizza till midnight. Then he decided to go home.

When Liam went home I made my way to the washroom and took a shower. The night showers are always the best. After showering I changed into my sweatpants and a t s.h.i.+rt. For a brief moment I thought what Sophia might be doing at this time, probably sleeping. Why the h.e.l.l? My eyes widened when the realization hit me that I was again, thinking about her. Stop it Logan. I brushed my teeth and I sat on the couch to use my phone a bit.

Before letting my thoughts take over me, I closed my eyes and started counting,

One thousand and one, one thousand and two, one thousand and three... Till I slept.

SOPHIA

When I entered my home, I rushed to the window to see Logan but unluckily he already disappeared.

I couldn't stop smiling. My heart was racing as I made my way upstairs and I was smiling nonstop.

I threw myself on the bed.

The phone rang and I picked it up.

"Hi!!" The caller exclaimed.

I couldn't recognize at first but then...

"Sarah!! How have you been?" I exclaimed.

Sarah is my friend since I was in grade 5. I was way too happy.

"I miss you so much!" She cried.

"I miss you too." I frowned. But I couldn't help smiling right after I don't know why. "How's everyone? Are you enjoying? How are the boys over there?""Yes! Oh Sarah I can't wait to tell you everything!" I replied.

As soon as I said that someone knocked the door and my mother came in.

"Hey darling, dinner is ready. Come on." She politely said.

"Fine." I nodded with a smile.

"Hey, Sarah I'll call you back." I told Sarah.

"Ok, I'll wait." She replied.

And I hung the phone.

When I went downstairs my parents were already seated.

I sat on the chair beside my father.

My mom set the plate right in front of me.

Instead of eating my food I was playing with it with a huge smile which was too obvious to my parents but I couldn't help it.

"What's the reason behind this smile of yours?" My mother asked.

I was lost in my thoughts I could barely pay attention.

"Sophia, Sophia!" My mother said in a little high voice to get me out of my thoughts.

"Y-Yes mamma?" I was startled and I saw both of them were staring at me.

"What happened? Why aren't you eating your food?" My father asked.

"It's nothing papa." I told my father with a smile which totally confused my father.

My mother narrowed her eyes.

"I doubt that." My mother spoke.

"Nothing mum, it's just I had a great day today." I laughed.

"It's good that you're finally fitting in. Do you like your new environment? "My mother asked.

"Yes mom I like it here!" I cheered.

I finished my food as soon as I could.

After having my dinner, I went upstairs changed into my night suit Brushed my teeth and went to bed.

All what happened today replayed in my head like a movie and I was smiling the whole time like an idiot.

Today, my day went so great I can't help but smile.

This stupid smile isn't leaving my face.

"Ahhh what am I doing?" I mumbled slapping my both cheeks.

I need to sleep.

I hope I'll see Logan tomorrow again.
