"Ugh! I lost in our bet once again." One of his friends whined.

"Did you ever think that she is tough in terms of emotion? Hah! I could easily toy her anytime. Smart women are fools in love and they are easy to fool." His face showed shrewdness and full of malice.

"Furthermore, I have another bet to all of you." The five boys fell silent and eagerly waited for his another suggestion.

"By the end of this month, I'll make her mine." He declared with an evil grin.

"Woah! You really think you could trick her to do that?" another friend questioned him.

"Don't you have confidence in me? What a shame! Haven't you notice how in love she is to me? She's like a puppy willing to obey her master at any time and at any cost." he laughed confidently. His friends shook their heads unbelievably of his statements.

"Do you think it's too much?" one of his friends find a courage to ask him showing pity to the lady.

"I don't think so. Besides, we'll both enjoy it." expression grew wicked over time. But he paused and questioned his friend who wavered. "Hey! Are you gay? Or maybe you like her?" Sheldon's eyes narrowed looking at his friend.

All of them laughed at his mockery, while his friend became silent and blushed. Sheldon ignored him and then he imagined Ingrid under him calling out his name.

"So, are you in?" he challenged his friends. All of them agreed and placed their bets, two hundred bucks each.

When Ingrid heard all their conversation she felt sick and could not believe that she is tricked by a beast. She was about to forge ahead and confront them but she was firmly stopped by Liane and without her knowledge her friend had already recorded everything in a video.

Her face was red in anger. She was so ready to kick their a.s.s and punched Sheldon's face and ruins it or cut off his b.a.l.l.s. But instead she took deep breaths and calmed herself not to be easily swayed by her emotion.

When the group dispersed, Ingrid's knees wobbled and her emotions she contained earlier became tears. She was so angry at herself for being so stupid and so vulnerable.

"Oh, sis..." Liane could not say anything.

Liane was so down, too, upon hearing the conversation and that her best friend was tricked and she knew that he was her first boyfriend and the first young man who was brave enough to court her. He was her first love.

Liane called her driver.

"Please fetch us right away. Get our things in our room and inform the teacher that there's an urgent matter arose. Ingrid and I will go somewhere." Her sweet demeanour changed when her bestfriend was hurt.

Liane was thankful because it was Friday and they have all the luxury to spend their time away from the crowd. She needed to take Ingrid away from this toxic place as soon as possible. She then called Ingrid's father.

"Hi uncle John, Ingrid and I would like to have a weekend getaway in one of your vacation houses near the beach, will you allow us?"

"When will that be?"

"Ahh, right now." Without hesitation John Howard agreed.

"I'll call the driver to fetch–" Liane interrupted him.

"Ahh, I've called my driver already, uncle John. He is on his way now."

"Oh, okay. Have a nice weekend." John then hanged up the phone.

After Ingrid cried, her face went in blank expression and her eyes seemed have no life. Her eyes flickered with deep emotion. This was the first time she saw that Ingrid stared blankly and blackly. Frustration, anger and sorrow were mixed up in her beautiful face.

All she could do for now is to think in behalf of her and as well wipe her tears.

'This would be traumatic to her.' Liane mused.

"Sis, come on, we'll go somewhere far from here so that you could unload everything." Ingrid just followed her bestfriend as if she lost her sanity.

On their way to the parking lot of the school, Liane saw that Sheldon's group was coming their way, so she hurriedly hide Ingrid in the bushes to avoid them. Because of Ingrid's state, she did not notice what was happening around her.
