Her mind was buzzing with so many things and she could not decide which one to listen to. She could decide whether she would scream, cry or plan revenge instead.

The driver did as he was told and within thirty minutes they were on their way to Ingrid's family vacation villa near the beach.

"I'm so stupid!!!" she wailed after they settled in the house. "..why was I tricked by that sc.u.m... I swear I'll get even!"

"Are you sure you'll go down to that level? Is he worth it? I mean the attention that he'll be getting from you the moment you'll get even with him?" Ingrid paused and thought about her bestfriends words.

"Are you even sure that you love him?" Liane continued to challenge her thoughts.

"Y-yeah... I am certain, it's just that I invested it in the wrong person." Tears again slowly flowed from her eyes once again. She could not control it but Liane just allowed her to cry so that she could unload her feelings.

"Just cry it out; it would help you to unload the heaviness in your heart." Ingrid just wept for about an hour but after that her feelings become lighter, though there's still some pain but it's unlike before.

"How do you feel now?" Liane caressed her hair and smiled upon looking at Ingrid's puffy eyes.

"Lighter. Thank you."

"Look at your eyes, it's so puffy.." Liane softly laughed and Ingrid hurriedly looked at the mirror and laughed at herself, too.

"It's so good to cry at times, right? I feel somewhat relieved." She embraced her bestfriend and said, "...you're the best in the world."

"Aww.. I'm so touched!" Liane teased. "I have an idea... let's swim!"

It was already five o'clock and the wind blew coldly but the water was warm when they soaked in it. The two girls shriek in laughter enjoying every bit of their time together and Liane did everything to make her bestfriend forget the pain she went through that day.

The caretakers of the villa just happily watched over the two ladies enjoying the beach. They already prepared their dinner and the rooms they would use. But Ingrid instructed them to prepare one room only because they plan to have a movie marathon.

When they went back to school, Sheldon kept on pestering her and she kept on avoiding him. But one day Sheldon caught her and ask for explanations why she keeps on avoiding him.

"I am already tired of you, Sheldon. I could no longer feel the spark just like before, so let's break up. Bye!"

"What?!"

"I said, I'm done with you and I regretted that I even laid my eyes on you, you brute!"

She then grabbed Liane's wrist and together they ran away from Sheldon who was still left in confusion. The two ladies giggled at what they did. However, Sheldon did not stop pestering her, so her father decided to give her and Liane two body guards so that Sheldon could not go near them.

Time pa.s.sed by and Sheldon was removed from being the top varsity player because the video that Liane took was exposed and went viral and he was almost expelled from the university. Luckily his parents asked for an apology to her and her family and the school gave him another chance.

After that incident, Sheldon changed. He is not the same as happy-go-lucky as before. After their graduation, she no longer has news about him and she did not care anymore.

Ingrid came back to her senses when she felt that someone tugged her pants. She looked down and saw her son's eyes full of concern.

"Mommy, are you crying?"

"Huh?" she then touched her face and she felt a mist on the side of her eyes. "...ahh it's only that my eyes hurts."

"I thought you're crying." She cuddled her son and kissed him on his cheeks.

"No. I am not, darling. Why are you here, by the way?"

"Ugh, have fun tonight mom, but please have a date with uncle Cliff, too, okay?" his son was so serious that Ingrid could not scold him on his plea.

"Why do you like him so much, son?"
