"Gaha gaha muuuuurrr (*cough *cough, this isn't a cult my good fellow but, a true group that wors.h.i.+ps our creator and our creator's creator. Although the spiders could technically be called our creator they are just used as a conduit to bring our existence about. So the G.o.ddess is the true creator while her creator is like an archG.o.d or something. We are too lowly to wors.h.i.+p him though so we can only wors.h.i.+p the G.o.ddess.)" Mushroom leader

"Deeeeeeeerrr..... (That's kind of a depressing way to put it.) Mob 2

The beast has stolen our newborn brethren from our flock. The G.o.ddess tried to reason with the beast but, in the end had to concede. Although we are allied with the beast, we can't let this fly. So we shall get advice from the fiery ones on matters of 'pranks'.)" Mushroom leader

Thus the Cult(path) of Mush is born.

Gin POV-

I woke up to see Nemesis' zombies having a meeting. One even has a stand made of mushrooms that it beats on like a certain old world dictator. Wow. I didn't expect the greater intelligence from the human/fungal aspect to have this effect. I get up to realize that I'm the only one here (besides the mushroom people). I go down a couple corridors and find Vulki slouched over a map. I made mention to her, Nemesis, and Set about the way we will go forward from here. Vulki has told me before that the drow are 'inherently' bad which made me.... Pity them? Not quite.... Anyways, I've decided to go on the offense against some of them. Nemesis has told me a few tidbits of information though. Apparently a group of drow wants to be subordinated by me. They believe me to be their 'saint'. I have heard of them before but I didn't expect to have any relevance to them....

A meeting has been set up by nemesis. I'll leave the matter to her. I doubt they could hurt her. Why is that? Well because of her health. I wondered why it was represented by question marks in her status so I did some questioning. Apparently, her consciousness can manifest in any of her subordinates which can then morph their bodies into a new one for her. So, they could attack her but, it won't do any good as she could just abandon it for another. This sounds incredible but the process can take around a day. On top of that the original consciousness has to be willing to give themselves up. Who would do something like that?

Rather than an ability, this is more of a racial characteristic of mushroom-creatures. Similar to Kess' metal body, the volatile nature of Xelu's eldritch flesh,and the non-solid bodies of Vulki and Set.

"So what kind of strategy do you want to use. Full on slaughter? Kill all adults? Those that fight back?" Vulki

"We'll see how well the negotiations go with the drow that wors.h.i.+p Sillith first." Gin

huhhh? My imagination playing tricks on me again. I take a close look at my ring.....

"The wretched we're pretty hard to deal with. The drow withstood the stronger variants of them without other countries trying to push cor war which speaks of how strong this country is. In my opinion it may be best to try to put them under your thumb. Pus.h.i.+ng any race into a corner may result in them using terrifying magic or weapons. Lets hope the negotiations go well. We can try to take over from the inside. If you want to destroy them after taking over, it would be a thousand times easier as well." Vulki

Hmmmm..... I don't want to eradicate them from the crust of this world.... Drow are not a race that is trustworthy though.... Perhaps....

"Vulki, do you think we could convert the drow race into different one?" Gin

She gives me a startled look and goes into thought eventually shrugs.

"I was converted thanks to your cla.s.s.... From what I have heard from you, converting others is only possible when making a broodmother like what you did with Xelu.... Although, you may be able to do something with nemesis. If you can leave the original body alive while having the conciousness created by the spores serve as a failsafe in case they act up. You could also just enslave them as well....."

That is the more realistic outlook.... Converting a whole species would be hard. Nemesis' spores could spread far and wide so that is definitely an option. Enslaving.... I dont like that concept.... Drow are fallen elves or the descendents of them. They commited sins against their G.o.ds and creators resulting in this cursed race. According to Vulki. I don't think G.o.ds would care if I turn them into mushroom abominations..... Anyways, leaving spores inside a whole bunch of people could act as bombs is the same as slavery..... I need to experiment. If the negotiations go well, maybe I can have the drow bring in sc.u.m for experimentation.

-Nemesis POV

It wasn't too hard to get into contact with the drow that follow my saint. They left a few people nearby. When I mentioned what we want, they were overjoyed. Eventually, I got to meet the same royal guard that brought me to this wonderful home. Something that I never 'really' had before. A home.....

With glazed over eyes she said that they agree to everything we want.....? I haven't even put out our terms yet. I would, without a doubt, do anything my saint tells me to do..... These people..... Are drow though. Wors.h.i.+p is a big part of their culture but.... Well, I figure that something will be put in place, a magic contract or something to keep both sides feom betraying the other....

"Wait, don't you want to make it impossible for betrayal? We are all willing to sign a slavery contract, put collars on, and have runes engraved in us." Inival
