Bloody Memories 14 A Visitor

The night has finally come. I hesitated to stay but, in the end, here I am now at one of the rooms of their dormitory. I'm lying down on the bed looking at the ceiling of the room. Thinking desperately about what's happening. I mean, Livia could really have Aviana's soul, right? Everyone knows about her already.

I breathed heavily as I turned to the right side of this huge bed. I can't sleep but I tried to close my eyes and urge myself to take a rest. However, I suddenly heard a knock on my door. I looked down and there's a shadow standing near the door. Who's this now? I looked at the clock beside the bed, it's already past midnight.

"Come in," I stated and the door finally opened. Vlad came in with a tray on his hand. What's this? I stood up immediately and went towards the sofa were he is.

​

"What's this?" I asked while pointing the tray that he put at the table. There are cookies and a gla.s.s of milk in it.

​

"Food. Tyler made it for you. He said that he can hear you sighing from the other room. You probably couldn't sleep. He stated. I grinned by what he said. Is he treating me like a child or what? I even forgot that Tyler's room was just beside me.

​

"Okay." I simply answered and get one of the cookies on the tray. I was about to eat but before I got the chance to take a bite, I noticed him quietly looking at me.

​

"Is there something wrong?" I asked. He shook his head as an answer. He's really strange. I finally took a bite from the cookie and I might say, this taste delicious! I took another, and another until I finished it all without him eating one. He probably won't mind if I finished it all. Besides, I haven't eaten dinner.

​

"So tell me." I began to state after I drank all the milk at the gla.s.s. Well, he brought only one so I guess that this food is supposed to be mine.

​

"What do you want?" I added wiping my mouth and now looked at him.

​

"Vivian..." He called. I just looked at him as I waited to hear him continue what he was saying but I noticed him shook his head and smiled.

​

"Nothing. Good night." He said and finally left the room with the tray in his hands.

He really is strange. Did he come here to thank me or what? Besides, I am the reason why we found Livia. I even put my life at risk just for her. I looked at the door and find myself grinning, maybe I guessed wrong. Is he pitying me?

"Haha! Did he actually think that I was jealous because he chose her?" I said to myself as I proceed towards the door to lock it then went to the bed afterward.

"Dream on," I whispered as I tuck myself in bed. I feel like I can finally sleep now.

Time past peacefully and I finally fell deep asleep but I suddenly woke up when I felt that someone was staring at me. I can feel those cold gaze looking at me at the edge of my bed. I'm scared to look who this is because I haven't felt this kind of atmosphere before. I don't even know if this is a human or a demon. This stare. I feel like they were from a dangerous person. The ambiance can tell that this person is not ordinary. I mean, how did this person even come in here without me noticing? Is he an a.s.sa.s.sin?

I slowly opened my eyes and looked at the clock beside me. It's 2:37 am and still dark outside. Is this what I'm feeling a while ago? The danger! I leaned towards the headboard of the bed and looked at the person sitting at the corner. I think that it's a man? It was wearing a suit but I can't clearly see his face because it was covered in the dark.

"Who are you?" I asked and tried to get my gun under the pillow. However, I suddenly froze when I felt nothing. My eyes widened when I saw him pointed a gun at me. My gun to be exact. My heart is starting to beat fast. Is he here to kill me?

"Looking for this?" He stated but this voice.

"What do you want?" I asked. I noticed him stood up.

"There's someone who wants to kill you, Vivian." He suddenly stated and came near me. How did he know my name? However, before I got the chance to ask. I finally saw his face. Oh. G.o.d! Why is he here? I gulped as he came closer towards the bed.

​

"Who is trying to kill me?" I asked and tried to calm myself down.

​

"I don't know yet." He answered and gave me back my gun.

​

"But I intend to find out who." He added as he looked at me in the eyes seriously. What does he mean by that?

​

"W-Why?" I asked. s.h.i.+t! I sound like I'm about to take a p.o.o.p. I saw him snicker a smile.

​

"Because I find you interesting." He simply answered and walked away from the bed. Then I noticed that he proceeds towards the window of my room. What is he doing?

​

"See you soon." He stated out of a sudden and jumped off from the window. I was surprised by what he have done so I hurriedly went towards the window to look at him. I don't see him anymore. Where did he go? Is he dead or something?

Well, it's impossible to still have a bone intact from this kind of height, even I a well-trained a.s.sa.s.sin can't jump on the 4th floor of this dormitory. It's too high up here and besides, the ground floor isn't included in the number of floors of the building. So, if it's included, there are 5 floors in total.

I immediately run downstairs to see if he is still alive but when I got down no one's there. Where the h.e.l.l did he go? Hence, I noticed someone running towards the woods of the academy. Is that him? I followed him and at last...

"Hey!" I called out to him but I froze when the person turned to face me. It wasn't him.

"Who are you?" I asked and tried to pull the gun under my sleeping gown but d.a.m.n! I forgot about it.

I immediately run towards here and didn't bother to bring anything. I guess that I'll have to beat him by my fist. However, before we got the chance to start our fight, he suddenly collapsed towards the ground. I saw Damian in front of me holding a gun.

"Why did you went out?" He shouted furiously as he walks towards me.

​

"What?" I asked confused. I mean why is he asking me that question?

​

"I'm worried!" I said but my eyes widened by surprise. I immediately covered my mouth.

What did I just say? Worried? That's the least that I could feel towards a human being whom I don't even know. I turn my back away from him and tried to run but he immediately grasped on my arm.

​

"Worried you say?" He stated and looked at me in the eyes. d.a.m.n those eyes of his!

​

"It seems like Vivian, the deadliest a.s.sa.s.sin has a heart." He said.

​

"And I plan to make it mine." He added.

What? I don't know what he was saying anymore. I can't hear him. I was only staring at his eyes. But what he have said to me, I noticed that my heart started to ache. Not pound but ache. What's happening to me? I started to cough. d.a.m.n! My chest really hurts.

​

"Go back to your dorm. I'll see you tomorrow." He said and finally left me.

I didn't have a choice but to do so. My chest hurts like crazy and I don't even know why. Why did I even suddenly feel that my chest feels stuffy? This is new. I should get some sleep. I'm not feeling well but any time soon, the sun will finally set up.
