Bloody Memories 19 Someone Took My Place

They are demons. It's my duty to kill them but I need to stay still. I still haven't fulfilled my mission yet. I need to gain information from this family first. I haven't met one n.o.ble demon yet but now I have. After what they have told me I can't help myself but worry for my safety. I know that they are capable of killing me without even lifting their hands. However, I can still feel that they don't have the urge to kill me, yet.

I s.h.i.+fted my body to the side of the bed. The sun is finally starting to rise from the veranda of the room. The second day of our game has finally started. I still haven't slept. My head feels heavy. I don't want to stand up yet but I have to go to school. I sighed. I had no choice but to get up from the bed. I stood up and was about to head towards the bathroom when I heard the door opened.

"You're awake." Damian said. I didn't bother to look at him and just nod as an answer. I prefer to see other things than him. There are so many things going on in my mind. I can't think properly right now. After all, it's better to be treating him like this.

​

"I'll get ready, you can leave now." I simply said and was about to open the door's bathroom but he stopped me.

"Let go," I said gritting my teeth.

I'm trying so hard not to get angry at him because it's too hard to understand him. It's too hard to know who he truly is! He wanted me to trust him but I don't know why I should. He treated me coldly again! I thought that he'd be worried when I saw that terrifying person but he just treated me like I'm a n.o.body. I'm so pathetic to think that I could actually trust him! I was so scared.

I shove of his hands but to my surprise, he didn't let go of it. He tightened his grip and I feel like my wrist was about to break. His strength is undeniably strong. It hurts! He's holding my wrist too hard! I can see my veins starting to pop out from my skin.

"I said let go!" I shouted at him. It made him snap back to reality because he immediately let go.

He looked at my wrist. He knows that he hurt me. I saw him rushed outside the room. But long after that he came back with a first aid kit on his hand. I rolled my eyes just by seeing this side of him once again. He's getting worried and I feel sick of it. I didn't let him get close to me and decided to went to the bathroom. I locked the doors and started to take off my clothes.

"Vivian." He called but I didn't bother to listen to him. I opened the shower and the water started to pour. Now I can't finally hear his voice. The water is cold though. I sighed.

This is tiring.

After I took a bath, I immediately wore a bathrobe and wrapped my wet hair with a clean towel. I went outside when I was finally finished. To my surprise, I saw him waiting for me while sitting at the edge of the bed.

"What are you still doing here?" I asked as he immediately came towards me. He raised my arm and made me look at my wrist. It's already swollen and turned purple. I immediately pulled it away from him and turn my back from him. I proceeded to my bed.

​

"There's no need to worry I often experience way worse than this," I explained to him. I took a glimpse to see his face but he's just standing there absent-minded. Staring at me with this blank expression of his.

​

"Your dress is there. When you are finished go downstairs, the breakfast is ready." He just said and walked outside the room. I heard him shut the door hard. Is he angry?

​

I removed the towel from my head and went towards the make-up table. I sat down and looked at myself. My chest is showing I didn't noticed. Then I realized, he wasn't looking at my face. He is looking at my chest. He saw this burn in my chest. This is the only scar which I don't know where it came from. I helplessly closed my eyes as I sighed once again.

When I finally feel at ease, I looked at the things in this table and thank goodness that there's a blower at one of the drawers. I started to dry my hair and decided to just left it loose. Then I put a powder and a tint on my lips and cheeks. This would do it. After that, I went to the bed. I saw a Quilt Velvet Stand Collar Long Sleeve Skater Dress and a Velvet Sneakers.

"So this is what I'll wear? He should have brought me a jeans and a s.h.i.+rt. That would be better." I said to myself and started to wear the dress. After that, I looked at myself into the large mirror. I really hate it when I look like this, too innocent.

​

I went outside the room and noticed that I haven't seen anyone around. This house is too quiet that it's as if no one lives in here. Even the maids, I saw one yesterday but after that brief meeting, I didn't get to see another more. I don't see maids walking around the house. Did something happen? Or did someone came and they are all in the dining hall?

I continued to walk and didn't mind the tension building up un my chest. I memorized the path that we took last night that is why I know where I'm heading to. Finally I saw the door of the dining hall. There's no one outside so I opened the door without second guessing. I saw Damian with the twins but their Dad isn't here. I continued to walk and I noticed someone sitting next to Damian. Who's this now?

"Sit here." Athena said brightly pointing the chair beside her. What's the meaning of this?

I proceeded to the chair which she pointed because my seat is finally occupied by someone. When I finally sat down. I was surprised when Athena caressed my head once again. She really wanted to kill me before but why is she treating me like a child now?

"Let's eat." She just happily said and so I started to eat the food in front of me.

I don't have an appet.i.te but I continued to eat. I'll vomit all these food later for sure. I didn't bother to think of anything besides... I looked at Athena and she too looked at me. She smiled after and it made me averted my gaze. I looked at my watch and it's near 8 am. I should head now.

"I'm leaving." I stated and stood up. I walked towards the door of the dining hall and wad about to open it when the person sitting beside Damian stopped me. I looked at her p.i.s.sed.

"I don't really like people touching me," I said. She immediately pulled her hands away from me.

"Livia." I added.
