It's hard for me to show up in this party but I need to be there. I need to go and see her. I have to because she is my mission. There is no helping it. I fell towards the floor of the bathroom and cried like a child.

I think I'm going to die on this mission. But I'm not crying because I'm going to die. I often encounter death. I'm crying because I realized that I'm really alone in this world. My family is gone. Papa is the only one left but he is dead. No one even cared to ask if I'm alright? If I was hurt back there. He didn't even say anything after that incident. What do I expect? I mean why am I even feeling these s.h.i.+ts? I should not be bothered by him! I shouldn't be anymore.

I grabbed onto my hair and screamed on to my lap so that I won't be heard. Then I head towards the shower, I breathed heavily as I slammed my fist on to the wall. d.a.m.n it! I look at my hands and it's bleeding. I snickered a laugh. I don't like seeing blood because it satisfy me so crazily.

After I took a bath, I went out of the bathroom. He was already gone. I head towards the door to lock it but I heard someone knock. I opened it slowly. It was Athena on her robe. Why is she here?

"Oh!" She only stated. She might have noticed my swelling eyes. It's a bit puffy due to my tears. Did I cried too much? It seems to be like it. I haven't said a word but she already came in to my room. I have this 'what the h.e.l.l' look written all over my face. Athena just proceeds to my bed and sat down at the edge of it. She looked at me after that.

"What are you waiting for? Lock the door." She said. I had no choice but to do so.

I was second guessing but I know she won't hurt me. I can sense it. I locked the door and went towards her. I was surprised when she unexpectedly pulled me towards the dressing table. Later after that, she stared at my face. It was uncomfortable. Hence, she started to put makeup on my face.

"I think you don't know how to put this so, I love to help. Just close your eyes and this will end soon." She stated. I was confused why she's helping me but I just didn't think of anything. Remember, she's reading minds.

Without me noticing I got used to her. I wasn't afraid of her anymore. On the other hand, I feel safe around her. When she was finally finished, she let me opened my eyes. I looked at the mirror to see what she has done to my face. I look s.h.i.+t with this makeup of hers. I hate looking innocent.

"But it suits you." She stated while pouting her lips. Just as I thought. She's reading my mind. I didn't bother to complain anymore and head towards the bed. Those two box which Damian gave me was there. I opened the two and one was a gown, while the other one is a heels. The gown was an off-shoulder white ball gown and it's very detailed with, wait! Is this diamonds?

"Yes of course and they are real. This looks pretty good on you." Athena suddenly said.

She immediately pulled the gown out from the box and put it near my body. She's smiling happily, like a mom. Unexpectedly I smiled without me noticing. However, my eyes widened by my realization. Her face was in shock too. This is embarra.s.sing!

"I have to get ready," I stated panicking while trying to avoid her eyes.

"Then get change." She answered and finally went out of the room. I sighed when she was finally gone. Why the h.e.l.l did I smile? Why did I even think that she's like my mom.

I toke off my bathrobe and wore the gown. After that, I wore the white heels. It was a bit high but I think that I can still move freely with this. I went to the mirror to look at myself. I sighed as I stared at myself. I look like an innocent girl.

I rolled my eyes and just went towards the door but before I opened it. I suddenly remember to bring my gun and my dagger. I tried to find it inside this room. Thank goodness, it's here. I put it under my gown, on to my legs. Then I went towards the door but I looked at the clock hanging on the wall first. It's already 8pm. I should head down.

I opened the door and went to the living room. I saw them there. Athena and Alethia were talking to each other but they looked at me when their gazes attracted my attention. They both smiled. I didn't give any reaction and just proceed to walk downstairs. I also remembered that Vlad is here but why?

I saw him look at me but it his expression suddenly changed. He was no longer looking at me. Then I heard footsteps. Vlad was looking behind me, so I looked. I saw Damian walking down with Olivia holding her hands. They look like a couple and it p.i.s.ses me off! She's wearing a red satin ball gown. It suits her demonic presence. I just continued to walk and when I was finally down I went towards the twins. Athena unexpectadly started to caress my head when I was near them.

"Relax." Athena said. I think that she's reading my mind once again that's why she's like this. She wanted to kill me before but she seems to care in the end. ​Hence, I noticed her stopped and her face turned cold.

"Let's go." I heard Damian said. They were finally downstairs. I didn't bother to look at them and just started to walk outside. Hence, a hand unexpectadly wrapped on to mine. It was Vlad. He wasn't smiling like usual. He's just blankly staring at the path that we were taking while holding my hand gently.

"Let's endure this until the night finally ends." He suddenly whispered and that made me look at him confused but my mind started to wonder when he gave me that devilish grin. This is new. Why am I seeing a different Vlad? This isn't him, right?

I feel that something's off and I don't like it.
