"Any other items you need?" She asked me.

I inform her I only need 1 of each kind of item but books are good provided they are about medicine, plants or blacksmithing. Basically anything crafting or trade related.

She was quite curious about my specifics. Well since she's technically my woman now I could fill her in on some of my secrets. I had bought new security measure for the kingdom so people can't talk about it to others anyway. It felt like a nice investment. of course you can talk about it in the kingdom just not outside of it.

Kind of like if you wanted to brag or where being fed like truth serums or something. people won't be able to did out my secrets or spread them. My kingdom had a very good security system update.

of course she was shocked. I let her pick some items she wanted to sell as well she was smart enough to know the dangers of powerful items and what not to sell. with her clan backing her she could basically start running new stores and stuff overnight and selling off items like clothing at high prices. with how much acromantula silk and dragon scales I had she could make high cla.s.s items for a premium.

She walked out with a spatial ring filled to the brim. Her eyes had long ago turned into money signs. "So what are you going to do now?" She asked containing her excitment.

"Probably go search out a heavenly flame or something." her eyes shot up at that.

"You know where a heavenly flame is at?" she asked in shock.

"Well yeah I know where there's a couple. I'm going to go and collect them." I tell her.

"Multiple heavenly flames?!?!" she said gobsmacked.

"Well yeah I already have a couple and some legendary beast flames why not collect even more." I said with a chuckle.

She doesn't know what to say at this point.

"Anyway use that ring I gave you to get into the kingdom anytime you like if you need to resupply or just visit." I tell the mature beauty.

"Okay." She said with a bashful look before wrapping her arms around me and giving me a deep kiss.

I return it happily. Before thinking for a bit. Soon a few people pop out These would be sungsun, appacci, and mila rose. The girls harribel usually watches after.

"I have a mission for you ladies are you interested?" I ask them.

"Of course anything for you." the former snake girl sungsun says with a giggle.

The other two look at me.

"I need you to protect Ya Fei for a while." I say waving towards the woman beside me.

"She's been selling of lots of my items and making a vast fortune for me. Who knows what kind of nasty people may have taken notice. I'm sure you three can handle any problems easily." I say with a serious look.

Greed often makes people do drastic things.

"Of course we can do that." They say excitedly.

"Good I'll give you all some spending money just make sure you take it seriously. if anything bad happens you have permission to use violent lethal force if needed." I pa.s.s them over some rings with money.

"Of course we will take it seriously this is the first time you've called us for something important we wouldn't dream of letting you down." the tanned beauty said proudly.

"alright well behave." I give them all a quick peck on the lips dazing them before they are drug out by Ya Fei.

As long as the city isn't in ruins by the time I come back I will accept this as a win.

I sit back down behind my desk and ponder over what to do next while eating some snacks.

in my hand appears a sparkling marble like object. The hogyoku.

It quickly sinks into my body and make a few changes my body feels quite uncomfortable for a while and pressured.

What I made it do was become a kind of soul container. It's basically compresses my soul inside letting it out slowly so I can adjust kind of like learning to work with a match properly before moving onto a lighter than a torch and so on. This also provides soul protection. if anyone tries to attack me with soul magic they would have to destroy the hogyoku first or bypa.s.s it somehow which I would probably not even be able to do. So it's extra defense and acts like a soul training tool The perfect use. I will dearly miss the free tacos it provides though such a tragic loss.

I get up after having the system run some checks to make sure everything is in order.

I head down to the library to turn in my books for and points I'll have to wait a few days for copies to get done but I can easily come back.

after my purchases are all sorted I head back to the mercenary town I'll see if anyone wants to go play in a desert with my while I search for heavenly flames.
