My Multiverse Trip 426 Tests.

After successfully escaping from the strange girl we make our way to a nice area to wait until the testing stage. We pa.s.s the time playing a game as old as time. Go fish.

"Got any 7s?" I ask him.

"Go fish. Got any 2s?" Ugh little b.a.s.t.a.r.d, I pa.s.s him my 2 after drawing a card.

Before we get any farther into the game we are interrupted by an absolutely murderous aura. We look over and see the girl I had helped earlier glaring at us. With a cold voice she asks. "Did you see?" This is probably her b.r.e.a.s.t.s at which point I raise my hand to and point at Nie li. " he touched them I tried to stop him." Before he can respond he's smashed into the ground at a blinding speed.

Little b.a.s.t.a.r.d thought you could beat me at go fish? I think with an evil smirk.

"What the f.u.c.k!?" Nie li shouts digging himself out of a crater.

"You touched them?" She repeats.

"Touched what!?! I haven't touched anything!" He shouts indignantly.

She just looks at me. I just shrug and say. "I've got no idea what your talking about I just automatically blamed him cause he needs a beating."

She just glared at us.

"Oh congratulations on breaking through." I expertly divert the situation. She looks confused for a second before checking her cultivation. She had indeed broken through quite a few levels.

Nie li was stuck since he needed a different kind of energy to progress. Apparently it was called heavenly energy or something and gave you new souls so I was quite interested in that. It was used to put a soul in a special building and if you died you would be brought back to like after an hour in said building. It was quite amazing.

Before she could respond a man with wings flew into the air. Welcome to the sect tests would all partic.i.p.ants please step forward. I quickly made my way forward abandoning Nie li.

The girl could only huff and stomp away.

"For your first test you'll be tested on your use of energy. Your goal is to make a ball of water using the mist of this area. The better your control the bigger the ball. You fail if it's under three feet." The man says making a ball of water that reaches 10 feet in diameter before popping.

I see Nie li showing off a bit away making a 20 foot ball of water. I just make a 10 foot one and disperse it. There's showing off too much and not showing off enough. I like to be in the middle. Sometimes.

Quite a few people fail. Only a couple hundred pa.s.s on to the next test.

The next test was a test of mental fort.i.tude you had to enter a calm meditative state inside of a ma.s.sive tower burning with black fire. This would be easy for me and Nie li. However before all of that there was a few things I wanted to do. I quickly make my way up the stair of the tower.

On the 7th floor was the weirdest looking animal I'd ever seen. A celestial qilin it had all sorts of animal species mixed into one being. "Wow your a f.u.c.ked up looking dog." I say with a grimace to the weird deer thing.

"Dog!??! How dare you human I'm a majestic qilin if it wasn't for these chains I'd have ripped you to shreds." It tugs on some neat looking sealing chains.

I step forward into it's range of attack. "How about now?" I ask with a smile.

It looks at me in confusion before surging forward only to dash right into a portal I had opened to the kingdom. It snaps closed behind him dragging the chains along with it.

I whistle happily about my new dog and make my way to the pitch black top floor. There's a soul floating around I quickly obliterate and then I steal some of the black flames for myself. After that I happily sit down and wait slowly stealing more flames for my soul realm. It's not as good as a heavenly flame but it's still a good flame.

After an couple of hours Nie li makes his way up to the top of the tower. At this point we have already pa.s.sed the test we just have to wait for the people in charge to end the test. There's aren't that many who pa.s.sed maybe 10ish. Sadly the time til the test ended was 3 days so I had to stick around and just steal stuff to pa.s.s the time.

The ones who pa.s.sed are teleported to a different location where all sorts of people from different sects barter on who goes where. Lucky for us the girl I helped whose name we learned is Xiao yu wanted us to go to the divine feathers sect. Which is were I wanted us to go. Since there was a shortage of suitable candidates for sects only me and Nie li got accepted into the divine feathers sect. In the book there were quite a few more since Nie li brought along his friends. However hogwarts has better teacher standards I guarantee and I don't feel like keeping track of everyone.

After some haggling and a small ceremony we are escorted to the upper realm for testing. Basically it tells us what kind of cultivation roots we have. Mortal, Earthly or Heavenly and a rank from 1 to 12.

There was some douchebag trying to brag about the people he got from his world. Only to be quickly shut up when one of them had a mortal root. Both me and Nie li had heavenly roots. We had to cut the test early so we don't show we had the best roots available. His was from being altered by the temporal demon book and tons of good medicine. Mine was because this body was designed to be perfect.

With heavenly roots we were put in the best district and xiao yu actually had us move in with her so she could keep an eye on us.
