Evelina's hair that was usually well-groomed was now disorganized; her well-ironed clothes were now wrinkled. Alexander tidied himself as well as Evelina. From the looks of their appearances, they seemed like they came out from a violent scuffle.

He properly gestured as a polite way to invite a guest, "How about let us have a formal discussion inside, shall we?" Alexander asked, luring him inside the room.

Alexander led the way towards the room. He walked in large strides, making him arrive faster. As he opened the door, it gave a click sound. They were on their way to the drawing-room. The suite was large, so it took minutes for them to arrive at the drawing-room.

Its walls were hung with fine red painting, it had a huge, silvery grey, silky carpet that had the same color of the eyes of Evelina; the furniture was covered with dark green silky material. Into this reserve pieces of futurism, cus.h.i.+ons, and pictures that were like from royalty burst their colors. The scene of the drawing-room looked like it was from the set of a futuristic royalty, fiction movie, sleek metal frames, the reddest red leather seats, smooth lines, nothing excessive, minimalistic, chairs suspended from steel wires, streamlined, designed to fit into compact s.p.a.ces.

Alexander waited for Alexi to be seated comfortably on the velvet red opulent monarch sofa. They were facing across from each other. Evelina was sitting right next to Alexander.

Evelina tilted her head to the right side, "So, Alexi!! What made you slacken off earlier?"

"Well… let's not talk about it. How about discussing plans for your journey to the Ruby Castle?" Alexi avoided her question.

"Well, if that is the case… so, what is your plan?" Evelina interestedly asked.

He scoffed at her, "Your tone seems to have somehow a tinge of skepticisms. You know, I know what you feel. Being pressured into this kind of stuff and there are people out there that are hoping for you to save them from this curse,"

Alexander rubbed her back, concerning her, "Don't fret, Evelina, we all support you. I will be your number one supporter! I won't let my lovely wife ever go,"

Hearing his uplifting words, her slumberous eyes drastically changed into blissfulness, "Really? You are really going to do that? How will you be able to cope up?" she asked as she stroked her chin, pondering of actions he might do.

"How about Alexi? He could do something," he glanced at Alexi.

Evelina's eyes landed at Alexi. His eyes were in shock, not blinking.

He cleared his throat, "Alright then, I'll just have to tell you the first thing to do. We will start with your training,"

They discussed the training and other numerous plans. An hour had pa.s.sed, the discussion had ended peacefully.

"When are we going to start that plan?" Evelina asked

"Evelina, if you are going to ask me that, then you are mistaken. It is only you who could answer that," he supported his chin while he leaned his elbow on the arm of the velvet red sofa.

Alexi was quietly observing the two. He was still thinking of how Evelina would be able to muddle through the mission. The mountain of trials was not that easy to accomplish.

A few moments later, Evelina finally broke the silence.

"Alexi, I want to start the training tomorrow," she said in great self-a.s.surance. It took her hours speculating in line with the matter. She wanted to provide evidence to everyone that she was rightfully worthy of being called the savior. It was not because she was more likely concerned about this but the main intention was to save everyone from the curse.

His lips curved into a smirk, "Are you certainly sure of your decision?" he wanted her to reconsider her decision, or else she might be remorseful if she was not able to take a good rest. Alexi had been waiting for her affirmative response. If the training would officially begin tomorrow, she would not be able to spend her leisure time just like the way it used to be when she was in Maximus Palace.

She stood up straight, tall and with poise, "Of course, Alexi. I know what to do. Needless to say, it is my responsibility to put an end in this curse," she said as she was beating her chest, entailing that she had the sense of urgency to commit the responsibility.

Alexi was impressed. He was taken aback by her response. Her confident answers were the only thing that he wanted to hear from her.

He stood up from the sofa, "You can rest a.s.sure that I and your husband will be here with you for the rest of your journey," he lent his right hand, signaling her a handshake.

Of course, Evelina knew all of the ethics and formalities. She broadened her smile that was breathtakingly the most beautiful smile that she ever gave him. She reached his right hand in order to clasp, shaking her hands with him.

"That without a doubt is a brilliant idea," his eyes landed on his lovely Evelina before continuing his utterance, "Why not let us rejoice and have a pleasant walk outside, dear? He asked with his soothing voice that was like the pleasing sound of the cello.
