Alexander was speechless. He did not know whether he wanted to laugh or cry. 'How could my Evelina be this vicious and sa.s.sy?'

"Alexander?" she asked while kissing his neck.

Alexander was astounded by her actions. He was trying his best not to be tempted and lured to her intimate gestures.

"Evelina," he whispered on her ear, signaling her to stop.

"…" Evelina did not respond and picked up where she left off. She continued kissing his neck, marking hickeys on him.

Alexi turned back, not wanting to see the couple. 'They are absolutely tormenting me, a.s.saulting my heart! They should also consider that I am here, experiencing a heartbreak'

"…" she still did not respond, making Alexander even more anxious about her actions. There was still a certain person in the room. Alexander knew that they have built a close relations.h.i.+p with Alexi however, he did not want to unveil what he and his wife, Evelina, do in their private time.

"Evelina!!" his voice was loud yet still maintaining a sense of gentleness.

Alexander got rid of her arms that were clung onto his neck.

Evelina complied with his command. Her face that was filled with smile and energy now turned into an emotionless façade. Her face saddened in an instant.

She scowled, avoiding his eyes, "Hmph!!" she harrumphed as she crossed her arms.

Alexi deciphered that there was no kissing that he was hearing anymore. He slowly turned back and his eyes landed on the disappointed and disgruntled Evelina. She seemed to be dissatisfied that he was provoking her and ended up being scolded by her husband, Alexander.

Alexi realized that he just ruined the good mood in the atmosphere. He regretted that he should not have provoked and challenged her.

"Evelina!! Don't take my jest seriously! Hahahaha…you need to calm down," Alexi was trying to warm up the gloomy atmosphere

'Geez…what an easily upset person! Evelina needs to grow up. She also needs some "controlling your emotions training" this might affect her performance and it might be one of the reasons that hampered in her journey'

"Evelina," Alexander took hold of her shoulders, making her look at him. He simply wanted to scold her for her barefaced actions. Although he loved kissing her, he did not want to allow her to kiss him just because of a simple jest made by their close friend, Alexi. It was somehow like she was provoking him. "Evelina, what you just did is unruly. It is quite rude,"

"…" she released her hands that were on her arms, gradually showing her willingness. Evelina was p.i.s.sed off of Alexi. 'Well, since it is my husband who is scolding me, then I will just obey him'

"Evelina, look at me," his right hand touched her left cheek, "I want you to grow up. I want you to be more not sensitive. Do not be easily upset or hurt, it might affect your friends.h.i.+p with anyone. You know, you have to understand that he was simply jesting and fooling around. You need to learn to go with the flow,"

'Thank goodness! Alexander finally realized! Man, you are such a good husband, scolding your spoiled-brat wife. Alexander, you must correct her from her mistakes or else, she might screw up everything that we have been preparing!' Alexi was secretly praising Alexander for his deed. Indeed, he also thought that Evelina was wrong. 'She is going to be such a huge headache in the future. I hope that Alexander will be able to cope up with her way of behaving'

Alexi exhaled deeply, "Now, now… I will just leave you guys here for good… hehehehe," he waved his hand, bidding goodbyes to the couple. He thought that it was the rightest way.

"Oh, no you don't. Don't you dare go outside, Alexi," Alexander turned to face him, "Please, if you don't mind, please stay here as soon as possible,"

'Oh, my. It must be better not to be with these two! They are tormenting my heart! I do not want to taste the dog food that they are giving me!'

Alexi regained his composure, "No, it is alright. I must leave the two of you here so that I could not interfere you, people, in your private time,"

As soon as Evelina heard his answer, her eyes and lips spontaneously curved into a smile.

"Yes, that would be—"

Alexander blocked Evelina, halting her view as well as her utterance, "No, we insist. I hope you would just stay here so that we could start our training tomorrow earlier," he insisted, showing his polite manner of inviting a guest to stay at the accommodation. After all, it was Alexi who owned the building that they have been staying in. It would be shameless if they would turn away from him.

She frowned, 'How could this be?? Why is Alexander doing this? We are supposed to be alone together!!' she thought as she crossed her arms.

Since Alexander insisted Alexi to stay, he had no choice but to stay. It was also better this way, for the reason that he would be able to observe her closely and a.n.a.lyze her att.i.tude.

"Alright, then, if you insist," Alexi replied.

'Hehehehe… this will be fun, seeing Evelina whining and getting green with envy of my bromance with her husband is an entertaining scene, warming up my down in the dumps mood' he evilly grinned as he thought of it.

'NOOOOOOO!!! There is no way that I will let this happen! This is so unfair!!'

Her silver eyes look fiercely at the perverted guy, Alexi. 'I will never let you cling into my husband! Even if you are a man, everything could be possible! Perhaps, I will work out my b.u.t.tocks so that it could accede to somebody's demands especially her husband.'

'Now I know why there are so many posh old ladies in their country that would rush to cosmetic surgery clinics to enhance their facial features to impress their husbands'

"Evelina!" Alexander was calling her name for the seventh time, afraid that she was not herself.

Evelina was in point of fact in the middle of daydreaming. Her mind was filled with tasting her husband's heaven. 'What a pervert am I! What am I even thinking' she smacked her head after the sudden thought that came across her mind.

Evelina grabbed his right hand, "Alexander, I think that I need some rest. I am feeling worn-out," she instantly acted as if she was exhausted and she feigned her innocence.

"Alright. You go ahead and take some rest in the bedroom," he gave her forehead a peck. He sincerely understood her. 'Well, she really needs to put her feet up. I was so hard on her during our lovemaking'

As she turned back to him, she secretly held an evil grin for a few moments. She then immediately fled to the bedroom and closed the door with a bang. It was like she was really feeling upset and exhausted at the same time.

"Alexi, what do you want to eat for dinner?"

"What? It's dinner already?"

"No, I eat an early dinner because I could feel that my body is much lighter when I eat early dinners,"

"Oh... I see. I will just have anything that is available,"

"Are you a picky eater?"

"Hahahahahaha!! That is a big no, Alexander,"

"Are you alright with jam and bread?"

"Yes. Do you have some tea?"

"Wait, I will be right back. You wait in the dining room first,"

"Alright, then," Alexi did not need to ask for directions because he knew this place for a long time. He used to spend it with his lover.

There were only two things that a person would describe once he was in the dining-room. It was delicate and grandiose. The walls were coated with a glistening gold paper and in the middle of the ceiling above the engraved modern pristine white marble table was a magnificent and radiant crystal light fitting. Down the epicenter of the table was a runner with a pattern woven in silver diamond and emerald green into the fabric itself. At the end of the table were floor to ceiling solid wood transoms doors that were embellished with bronze color left to some extent a half-closed to let in the sweet-smelling air of the warm weather. The elegant and sophisticated silver tableware was weighty to the hand and radiated luminously in the early sundown light. At each spot rose a tall unfilled wine gla.s.s and there were strikingly folded napkins to match the runner. Beneath the tableware, there were gold placemats that any person could see their reflection on it; it was so s.h.i.+ny that it almost looked like a gold version of a mirror.

While waiting for Alexander for the meal, he was quite apathetic to the scene he was seeing. He felt that it was empty despite the lavish designs and architecture. It was not food he was yearning for, it was love.
