The Science Inst.i.tute City was a playground for scientists, mathematicians, and those in the medical field. Only they can live there together with their families. The Francis family was the one who funded the projects. The employees of the Science Inst.i.tute City, solely work for the Francis family. They were not a puppet of the government because all of their families were against the government. The family had been paying them lavishly and providing them their essential needs. The Science Inst.i.tute City was equipped with state-of-the-art technology facilities. On the surface, it looked like they were something in the 1950s yet, the machines of the city upheld an immense power, energy-efficient, and an effective tool for society. The city was a Math and Science rhapsody in heaven. The city was located in the remote village of the capital city thus, it made it look invisible from the residents.

Alexander was the head of the Science Inst.i.tute City. He handled its affairs and made the final decision on every project and proposals made by his people. He graduated at Cross Military College. He didn't attend High school because he was too smart that teachers would always ask him to retake the test. His teachers were taken aback and would only ask his parents to take him to a special school. His parents didn't agree and insisted on enrolling him in High School. With just an austere dispute, it became the talk of the town. The ma.s.s media of the capital continuously get in touch with him until it came to the point that they were stalking his every move every time he studies. Alexander had a greater IQ compared to other students his age. He excelled in all subjects in cla.s.s. He was a polyglot. He was even fluent in 30 languages. Alexander decided not to attend High School. When he went to college, he was enrolled in Biology cla.s.s. He was the youngest student in the college. He was only 14 years old. Furthermore, he also obtained a Law degree and a Computer Science degree. Soon after he graduated from college, he enlisted as an officer in the Air Force. At the age of 25, he became the youngest five-star General of the Air Force. He was the backbone of the Francis family. The royal family of the Kingdom of Diamond, Yahontov family, extremely admired Alexander for his keen and tactics for the Military Air Force. He had a vast influence in the military and served as an epitome of justice. While serving in the military, he also worked as a Lawyer. He was a lawyer of his family and at the same time, providing services to affluent families. He built the Science Inst.i.tute City within his own hands. Whereas he had a ma.s.sive contribution to the family, he abounded the Francis Empire within 2 years. Alexander pondered and recalled the past events of his life.

Laboratory of Hippocrates, Science Inst.i.tute City

"Sire, is there something bothering you?" a fellow scientist asked reverently. The scientist had an Achilles' heel for Alexander because his son was a close friend of him.

"No…. where did we stop last time?" Alexander was in deep thought.

They were currently in an experiment. They examined the vaccine if it was effective to be used by patients containing viruses. The fastest vaccine ever created was four years and they were trying to break the record. They created the vaccine within two years. Alexander and his team wanted to create a vaccine that would help recuperate the patients faster. The kingdom was in crisis and encountered a precipice of the annihilation of the spread of the virus. The employees started to worry since he was not himself recently. They erased their uncertainties on their boss and did not have the courage to meddle into his personal affairs. The employees of the inst.i.tute would not dare to circulate rumors because their boss would press charges against them. They would be fined 10 million for circulating baseless rumors.

Ahhh!!! suddenly, a man shouted in fear. In a moment, they diverted their attention to the man screaming. The employees stopped working and surrounded the man. The man was looking at the vast windows of the laboratory. The employees started looking at the windows and were in shock. They could see what was happening outside. There were numerous dark clouds circulating around the city.

"The smog seems darker than usual. As far as I know, there aren't many factories in our kingdom. How could there be such a huge smog?" Another scientist uttered nonchalantly

Tatiana, the lady scientist replied, "According to my research, Smog is often caused by heavy traffic, high temperatures, suns.h.i.+ne, and calm winds. These are a few of the factors behind an increasing level of air pollution in the atmosphere. Some research says that smog could worsen when it's the winter season."

"On the other hand, it is still summer and look at the sky! It's still blue and doesn't have the gray color that smog in other countries usually has. This is kind of a big news! A piece of international news! Perhaps, we should also expand our research. It could be one of the causes of the epidemic!" Rachel, another lady scientist, said with a great beam on her face.

Alexander reprimanded "Settle down, everyone. Let's be calm! I want everyone to be back at work! Rachel! You and your cl.u.s.ter, make observations regarding that mysterious smog! You can submit the report to me at any time when you're done. While you guys, should focus on the vaccine. By the way did you guys prepare the sickly wild animal?" another thought came to him. He almost forgot the most important part. 'Good thing, I remembered! I can't wait for this virus to end! I can't bear to see many people mourning anymore. I want to revive the lively atmosphere of our kingdom'
