"Wake up, you sleepy head!"

Flame's irritating voice boomed.  Uggh, i covered both my ears with pillow.  Its still early, the sun hasn't risen yet, So what the f.u.c.k is she doing here?

Doesn't she have anything to do again and she's bothering me now?

"Wake up! You ain't sleeping beauty, so crawl your a.s.s off from the bed. Faster! It's your first day of work today"

"Flame... I'm jobless in case you. forgot" I lazily informed.  It's been months since I resigned from my work.

The hospital even gave me a lawsuit, i paid for the damage of my contract. And with that, it might be hard to apply a job if ever.

I think she had enough because she spank my b.u.t.t.

"Hey!"

"Hey to you too! King forbid me for the first time to use his card and it's your fault! Now get up so i can shop! we had a deal!"

"You have your own money you sneaky brat! use yours!" She pouted and glared at me.

"But his money is way unlimited unlike mine" Then she smirked.

"Ugh, get out. I need to sleep"

"Goodness! Have you forgot your promise?! You told him you'll work!" Argh! her loud voice is destroying my eardrums! and I'm not joking. Like, literally.

"Yes, but Im jobless Flame."

"Oh, not anymore!" I stared at her like she has two heads growing.

"King Espresso Moreau fixed italready! From this day onward, you finally have a job"  Because of that i jump out of my bed.

"What the f.u.c.k are you saying?!"

s.h.i.+t? What the h.e.l.l did you do King?!

"Well today is your first day to the hospital where we confined you . I don't know the name but still, you have work! Isn't that good?So get up, your patients are waiting for you daaaakter!"

I don't wanna work! Moreau, You're really a pain in the a.s.s!

"You swore to him na you'll work. So he made a way. And if you don't get there on time he will tell your parents about how troublesome you are right now!"

I snickered. d.a.m.n it. I stump my foot on the ground repeatedly.

"Which hospital am I working again?"

"I said i forgot but it's where we confined you. You just need to be there and someone will guide you after"  she said that then her attention turn on her phone, i was observing her, i saw how she tried suppressing her smile.

Okay... whatever, it's non of my biz.

We went out via uber and gave the driver the direction to the hospital and to my suprise it was a new hospital and has easy access. Talk about convenience.

I saw my oh-so-brilliant-cousin standing infront of the entrance.

I only looked at him. He can really pull some strings whenever he wants to.

To my surprise, I have an office set up for me already. Everything was set up in such a short amount of time. Amazeb.a.l.l.s!

"You can start tomorrow doc" The nurse informed me.

"I thought today" i stated.

"Oh, we adjusted your schedule" she answered.

I nodded. I guess,  I have the whole day for me to rest and adjust to this kind of work again.

l Stood up from my seat and faced my cousin who is sitting pretty on the visitors chair.

"Give me my keys and other belongings"

"You'll stay on my condo for now"

"You wish you c.o.c.ksucker" i rolled my eyes.

He sighed, he doesn't have a choice. We made a deal.

I became true to my words so he gotta be true to his too.

"You were a career woman Audelia, what happened. Hmm?"

"You said 'were' King. Past tense. Change is inevitable" I simply said.

Isn't that true? even if you don't want to, you just change and sometimes even your principles in life.
