"Ask the maid to prepare my things. I'm going to visit that son of mine. " Chairman Xia continued.

"Should I call Young Master to inform him about your visit, Master?"

"No need. It's better if he doesn't know. You can leave now." Chairman Xia instructed. His a.s.sistant made and obeisance before leaving.

Chairman Xia was left standing in the balcony while staring at the night sky but a hint of hatred can be seen from his eyes. After a few minutes, he went inside and took an early rest.

The next day, early in the morning both Chairman Xia and his a.s.sistant reached Xia Wei's home. The butler and the maids welcome them while one of the maids went to Xia Wei to report about the sudden visit of his Father.

At this time, Xia Wei just got finished changing and was about to wear his coat when knocks were heard.

"Come in." Feng Qiang said while holding the tablet he was using earlier to say Xia Wei's schedule for the day. The maid then opened the door and stepped inside the room.

"Young Master, the Chairman made a visit and is currently downstairs and waiting for you. " the maid reported.

Upon hearing what the maid said, Xia Wei's eyebrows automatically furrowed. He wasn't expecting his Father to visit and he also doubts that his father would visit without a reason. "You can leave now. Serve tea to the Chairman." Xia Wei instructed and the maid made an obeisance and left the room.

"Feng Qiang, how many minutes before my first meeting?"

"You only have 45 minutes before your first meeting, Boss. " Feng Qiang replied.

"Move it for 11 am meeting. " Xia Wei said and then he started walking to leave the room and go downstairs. Feng Qiang just nodded and did what he instructed before he followed his Boss downstairs.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Chairman Xia was seated while his a.s.sistant is standing behind him when Xia Wei walked forward and took a seat in front of them. "I still have a meeting, Chairman Xia. What made you come here?" Xia Wei directly said using an indifferent tone.

Chairman Xia was used to this manner of Xia Wei when he is speaking to him. "I heard you already found her."

Hearing his Father's words Xia Wei furrowed his brows and said: " The thing about me finding her doesn't have anything to do with you, Chairman Xia. So if you do not have anything to say I will take my leave."

Xia Wei's words angered his father but Chairman Xia suppressed his anger and said: "Don't forget that you and w.a.n.gshu are already engaged! I won't ever accept that sl*t, Zhuang Yue! Don't waste your time with her, spend your time with w.a.n.gshu instead."

What Chairman Xia said made Xia Wei mad to the point that even though he wasn't showing how mad he is, the people around him can feel his anger and the cold aura he is releasing right now. Feng Qiang swallowed his own saliva and was afraid that his Boss might do something again. However, Xia Wei really didn't do anything aside from turning the house temperature into negative degrees.

"Yue'er is not a sl*t! Between us, I'm sure Chairman Xia know who was the one who made the engagement thing for me? I will marry who I want to marry. No one can stop me from doing so!" Xia Wei said using a very cold tone and with a sharp look in his eyes.

Chairman Xia couldn't hold his anger anymore and roared: "That sl*t already left you 7 years ago! She was just after your money and power! Su w.a.n.gshu is more suited for you than that sl*t! If you don't stop your craziness over that woman, I will make her life miserable again!"

AT first, Xia Wei really didn't want to pay attention to his father but after what his father said something caught his attention on his father's words. "Again? " Xia Wei asked with a hint of anger from his voice.

Chairman Xia was taken aback by Xia Wei's question that he just realized what he just said earlier. He accidentally said things he shouldn't have. Now, he just hoped that his son won't suspect anything.

"Did you do something to her in the past, Chairman Xia?" Xia Wei continued to ask.

"I didn't do anything to her in the past." Chairman Xia lied casually beside he was used to lying anyway. Although Chairman Xia made it looked like he was not lying, Xia Wei was not convinced and there are still doubts in his heart but he didn't show it to his face. That's why Chairman Xia thought that his son lets the thought out of his mind.

"Anyway, my true purpose for my visit is to tell you to give up and don't ever plan on meeting that sl*t again. Spend some time with your fiancee instead that will be good for everyone especially for the company." Chairman Xia said but Xia Wei really didn't give him any reaction.

Xia Wei just stood up and turn his back on his father and started walking towards the main door. "Where do you think you are going?! I am not yet done talking to you!" Chairman Xia angrily said and Xia Wei stopped without looking back he said: "Meeting."

To be honest, Xia Wei's not really late for his meeting and even if he is late he has the right to be late and besides the meeting won't start if he wasn't there. He just does not want to talk with his so-called father anymore.

"You unfilial son! Get back here!" Chairman Xia roared but Xia Wei remained standing up and turned to him instead.

Seeing that his son just turned to him and not going back to his seat, Chairman Xia was enraged again but he suppressed his anger. He needs to please his son and change his mind about the engagement and Zhuang Yue.

"Xiao Wei, can't you really forget that woman? w.a.n.gshu is much better. Can't you consider her? If you can just spend some time with her you will like her too. Think about it and it is the best way for the company too. Can't you do that for your grandfather's hard work's sake for the company and for me your only family left?" Chairman Xia asked calmly.

Xia Wei stared directly to Chairman Xia's eyes and said with both a cold expression and tone: "Yes, I only have one family left and that's the woman you kept on calling a sl*t, Zhuang Yue, not you, Chairman Xia."
