"Young master, thanks!" The vice leader of the ranger squad said.

Naga smiled at him and said, "Do your best. More great things will come."

"Yes, young master!" The ranger squad said with excitement.

Hextor approached Naga and asked, "My lord, would you allow me you go back to the Bluemist Mountain?"

"Not now. Tomorrow, work with Old Samuel. We will start gathering resources. Send people to the resources that you visited." Naga answered.

"As you wish, My Lord." Hextor said.

"But... send Alfred and Draxus there to investigate. Alfred is on training and going to the Bluemist is a good choice." Naga said smiling. After that, he walked toward the carriage that was brought by the city official.

Meanwhile at the City Lord's office.

"City Lord! The den was successfully destroyed!" The captain of the guards stationed in the west reported.

"As expected." The City Lord smiled.

"The Magic Hall is investigating. It seems that some groups here in the city are involved. Doc.u.ments and initial findings will be sent here, City Lord."

"I see. Thank you. You may go back now to your post. Make sure to provide them a.s.sistance."

"Yes, City Lord!" The captain lightly bowed and answered before leaving.

"Make sure to send officials to help with the investigation. This is still our city." The City Lord commanded to an old man.

"Absolutely, respected lord. Are we going to send reports to the empire as well?" The old man asked.

"Yes, but don't tell them all information." The City Lord answered.

"I understand." The old man warmly smiled and bowed.

When Naga arrived to the city, he didn't go back to the manor immediately. He asked the carriage to drop him off to the commoner's town.

"At this time... young sir?" The driver asked.

It is only 2am in the morning so he was not sure with Naga's request.

"Yes, please. There's a place that I want to visit. Drop me off to the town's entrance. You don't need to go further." Naga said respectfully.

"Do you need me to send you guards, young sir?" The driver asked.

'This young sir... I will be in bad position if something goes wrong.' He thought.

"No. Just rest after this." Naga said and smiled.

"I... As you wish, young sir." The driver hesitated but he agreed.

When they reached the town, Naga lightly bowed to the driver and walked alone towards an alley. He walked straight while holding a gold coin with Magnus emblem for a few minutes before reaching a dark alley. This location is one of the city's greatest secrets.

Naga smiled when he saw the dark alley. He entered and walked until he reached an old pa.s.sion tavern.

He was about to enter when a bearded big man blocked his way.

"This is not a place for children." The man said.

"Greetings. I am requesting to meet the Elder." Naga said. He showed a small golden coin from the Magnus Clan.

The big man frowned before asking him, "You are not from the church. Where did you get it?"

"Bishop Luciano gave it to me." He responded.

'The Great Warrior Priest!' The big man was shocked. He checked the coin again and it was not a fake.

"Are you one of his disciples, kid?" The big man asked.

"No. I am not. It was just my fortune to meet the bishop." He smiled and answered.

The big man just nodded. After a few seconds, he gestured for Naga to enter.

"Go inside. Ask a waiter to escort you to the bas.e.m.e.nt. Don't mind the other people."

"Thank you." Naga answered and lightly bowed.

He was surprised when he entered the tavern because he saw a lot of people and races. Not only humans are inside the tavern and drinking. There are dwarves, orcs and other races he doesn't know.

"What are you looking at?!" A dwarf asked.

"A human kid! Haha! Here for a drink?" An orc said.

Naga remembered what the man said and didn't mind them. He asked one of the waiters to escort him. At first, the waiter frowned but eventually agreed to his request. They went downstairs to the bas.e.m.e.nt.

"The kid is looking for the Elder... I see." One of the human customers said.

"Who's that kid?" The dwarf who asked Naga before was curious.

n.o.body answered him so he called for a waiter instead. "Another barrel of good ale here!"

"House of Iron Crow... he is from that mysterious house. I just remembered... he's the kid I told you before." A wood elf said.

"What?" An orc asked.

"The young lad... who always have a warm smile but don't hesitate to kill. He sure is interesting." The dwarf said before drinking his ale. 'Gulp.'

"That time in the forest. Yes, I saw him and I was about to help. He was running and escaping from some hoodlum but then... he stopped and summoned a flame bow. He fired the arrows like a veteran archer." The wood elf said.

He was patrolling the forest that time and was amazed with how Naga used his bow.

"What do they want from the Elder? Their house master should have visited personally. Sending a servant, no matter how good and pwerful, is disrespectful." An orc said before drinkin. 'Gulp.'

"I heard... that young lad is not a servant. Doing things on his own accord and yet... their house is just letting him be. This might be a personal visit and not on behalf of their House." A big man holding two barrels said.

'On his own accord? Definitely, not a servant.' Some customers are thinking.

He delivered the two barrels to the dwarves. He was still thinking why Naga wanted to meet the Elder.

The waiter and Naga reached a closed metal door. The waiter looked at Naga and told him that beyond the door is where the Elder is resting. The waiter bowed and told Naga that he can enter now but meeting the Elder is not guaranteed. He didn't say anything more before leaving.

'Not guaranteed?' Naga frowned.

He opened the door and entered. 'Zzzziiiinngg!'

'What?!' He was greatly shocked with what happened. He looked around and saw an unfamiliar place. He was now inside a forest. There are huge trees and different animals. He looked above and it seems that there some flying monsters too. He is not sure if those are drakes or wyverns.

'I didn't feel it with my s.p.a.cial awareness. The Elder is powerful indeed.' He thought and smiled. He did not expect that he will be transported to a different place. He decided to walk forward and look around first.

He was informed by Bishop Luciano about the Elder. One of the most powerful beings alive in this world and even the council is afraid of messing with him. He was the one who trained the previous generation's True Hero due to a fateful encounter. n.o.body knows how ancient the Elder is but there was a humor that he even gave pointers to the Holy Dragon King.
