Due to how vast the land of Ekolia is, Rakuri makes use of the skill [Earth Manipulation] to move around in the environment, just like she did before, but she's even more proficient at it this time.

She has left far away from Bakuyo's home, but that is all right. Because with an item she just got recently, the worries of being late to a party with her party are gone.

The item in question is none other than the item that came out from the red card she pulled out back when the party left the prison realm.

Tier 10 Grimoire [Dimensional Teleportal]. The book allows the user to place two portal that can only be seen and used by the user. By placing one at Bakuyo's home, she then can just place one wherever she's at and then she can get to Bakuyo's home within a second. Not only that, but it also lasts indefinitely until the user is not recognized to be online.

That means after a long rest in Bakuyo's home, she can come back to where she was previously at and again, within an instant.

One thing she needs to be doing right now is to do a quest and earn enough gold coins to rank up. She has seen it in the news. Because people can no longer transfer their richness into the game, people are having a ma.s.s protest about it. Especially the newbies, because they have only just started and it quickly went into hard mode right when they started.

There are many veterans that are offering a service to help them pa.s.s through the prison realm, and it is a good strategy since both of them are equally profited. The veterans only need to make one new character that cost 10.000$, their a.s.sistance does not pay off in a single service. However, they don't need to make a new one to help another since the game DOES allows the user NOT to go through the portal to the surface. They then can transfer their money to their main avatar and the newbies can get out of the Prison Realm safely.

Right now, the fastest way to do a job that can earn a lot of money is by going to the Central Capital. Not to be confused by the Capital in their real life. The Central Capital is where all players in the region take the public quest and recruit members to their guilds.

Basically, Central Capital is the main official guild of the game. They offered guides, quests, and even a place for people to rank up until Expert.

It's almost Christmas and yet the Central Capital does not seem to have any decoration to that theme. It has raised concern among the community that ever since update 6.0 came out, the Developers felt like they are gone out of nowhere.

There are many speculations that they are afraid of the criticism or they are on a break. None but the Devs know for sure.

The ground quickly reverted back and she has arrived at the Center Capital. The place is ma.s.sive like a giant robot arm grasping the ground, it is unnatural to have a building like this in a fantasy world, but then again it is a game and this place is the only place where this kind of thing exists.

"All right, I should go and register first."

She went up the stairs along with many other people, with the use of her fur hood, she blends in with the rest naturally. Though, some noticed the giant racks she got on her chest.

Anyone can basically make anything in the character creation, making the perfect body they want, so it's not unusual for someone to be that attractive.

There are not many people lining up, it's because they can access the menu for receiving the quests, as long as they got close enough to the Center Capital that is.

Some lying on the ground, some resting their backs, and some even enjoying meals in the canteen they provided.

Because of how far she is from her party, she is no longer eligible to receive the rewards they got and vice versa. So, Rakuri decided to just leave and give herself a bit more freedom.

She went to the receptionist, which is a female robot that came out straight from a cartoon. This used to be a hot lady with an exposing lewd outfit, but due to this game no longer an adult game. Kids can now get into the game, and this happens. People pointed out that, they want the lady to be back. They could instead of removing her, they could just bring her back fully clothed.

"Welcome to the Center Capital. How may I help you, ma'am?"

"I'd like to register."

Rakuri fills up the necessary doc.u.ments for the registration and soon after, she was given a card that grants her access to the Menu Screen of the Center Capital.

She browses through the category she is on. Because she's still new, she can't go and take something that is far from her rank. It is a different ranking system of a guild, from an F-rank at the lowest and all the way to S rank at the highest, just like a typical fantasy world guild... unoriginal.

Sitting at the bottom, she can't do much at the moment and has to rank up first before doing anything that is truly profitable.

"Excuse me."

Someone greeted her. A party of three, one is a knight, the other is an a.s.sa.s.sin, and the last one is a priest. "What is it?" asked Rakuri.

"We're recruiting for Bahalar Dungeon. We saw you were alone, would you like to party with us?" the man said it with sincerity, Rakuri can feel it. Though, partying with them will only slow and potentially halt her progression. She needs to rank up fast and doesn't have time for idle chatter that she would be getting if she joins them, "Sorry, I'm a solo."

"Ahh, I see. Then, sorry for bothering you."

The man nodded and left.

'Hmm… Bahalar Dungeon, huh. I don't remember where and why people go there, but I think it's for loot grinding or something. That's good, I guess. But I'll have to share stuff with them, considering how many hours it would take to complete a dungeon, I won't be profited much. Best to just stick with Questing and grind it here alone. I can get a chunk load of EXP with it too and a decent loot reward.'

She grabbed three quests from the F-rank section. Those are the maximum a person can get. One is collecting herbs, one is wolf extermination, and the other is hunting animals. The latter requires the contents of the animals itself, the fur, the meat, these are all can be obtained by simply cutting them using tools or blade.

Luckily, Rakuri has it thanks to Kurira.

"All right, let's go then."

She went out of the premise and when she gets into the forest, she used her magic again and left to do her quests.

No longer has she used her magic because of how slow her mana regenerates, she tried to be efficient as much as possible. That was the reason why she can survive long battles and can still use her skill. This is also due to that her skills don't really cost very much.

With her Dexterity increased, she can already move faster than a sport runner. She holds her hand up, preparing her magic [Windbolt] as she shoves the many bushes away.

She couldn't find an animal all this time, but she finally found it. A deer munching on a bush. She wastes no time. Quickly as she jumped, she sends her [Windbolt] right to its neck.

*Fwooosh*

Sound of cracking can be heard loudly as the impact hits its head, "Ngoooh" the deer tries to get back up, but it was stunned by the sudden magic. [Windbolt] does not have an effect that can cause this, but it was due to her surprise attack that it led to the deer being in this state.

Using [Flame Creation], she boosted herself to the deer and took out her blade to quickly finish it. A hunter must always do it clean so that its prey won't suffer for too long.

*Stab*

Piercing its vital points, it soon went limp.

Rakuri then proceeds to cut and slice the deer and separated its content rapidly as fast as possible. Afterward, she stored them in her inventory. She ignored the battle summary notification... it is not important since she already knows what she's getting, it doesn't matter at all whether she open it or not, but the former being the slower one, it is obvious which one she would choose.

"That's one. Two more."

She went to search for the other two and quickly found them not long after. She tried to do it as soon as possible, but the deer are becoming quite slippery.

She managed to do it in the end though.

"Phew, that took what, 3 hours? I need to step my game up. I'm getting real slow here."

For how the quest works, if it can be repeated, one does not need to go back and grab another quest to continue. Instead, one can just move on to do it again after one is complete, and then make the quests rewards stack with each other.

Moving on, she uses her [Earth Manipulation] whenever her stamina runs out, and it makes the journey smoother. "Yellow Gra.s.s Herb, huh. Easy one."

Finding the herb is indeed easy for those who have the experience. They are hiding in plain sight among the other gra.s.s plain, south from the Center Capital. The direction that is headed to Bursoli, the Stone Kingdom.

Soon after, instead of finding 10 of them. She grabbed a whole stack of 100 of that herb. They go straight into her inventory.

Next up, is the wolves.

To completely filled up her quest, it requires her to eliminate a total of 30 wolves. And she can do it by scouring the area to find them.

Wolves in this area always going around in pack so it's not hard to miss them. After heading to a gra.s.sy plain, Rakuri quickly found them munching on their prey.

The sun is still so bright in the sky, "It really is the perfect time for it I guess." Summoning flames on her twin daggers, she seared them to the wolves using her [Windbolt]

*Wooosh *Woosh

*Grahrrr*

"Two down." She quickly dashes towards them and with the use of [Windbolt], she managed to kill 4 more in less than a minute.

She doesn't know how much their healths are, but one thing for sure is that… they are weak. Searching around the gra.s.sy plain once more, she found nothing. But when she walked into the forest, she found a bunch of them running around like chickens in a cage.

Using her [Earth Manipulation] she created a wall surrounding all of them and it cost a total of 1400 Mana. It'll only last less than a minute since it's not a real spell that can summon a wall of stone. She makes use of the time she got and went to slaughter all the wolves inside without wasting any second.

A few hours later

Rakuri has returned to the Center Capital with hands and feet full of blood, people glanced at her for a moment, but that soon fade since it's normal for people to be like that after a quest. It is just odd of how can a beautiful lady like her did it, and not caring about her image.

People usually don't like to cover their faces in this game, they want to show off the beautiful and handsome the characters they made. But, Rakuri is the opposites, she just doesn't care about it at all or how other people see her.

She just wants to have fun in this game, playing a style she always likes to do.

After she pa.s.sed through the barrier inside, all of her dirt and blood were instantly wiped. Quickly, she opened up the menu and submit all the items in her inventory. For every piece of wolves, she killed, one fang of it has been extracted.

Because of the loot gain was doubled, and rarity increased, she found more than just wolf fangs. However, all of them are considered cluttered items in her eyes.

Her eyes went to shut in embarra.s.sment for having her stomach forming the sound of an earthquake. She then went to the canteen and ordered a meal, a bacon cheeseburger, and fries.

The quality is… decent.

'Well, this is the standards, I suppose."

Sitting close in the window, she looked to the outside as she's munching on the fries. The clouds clouded the green mountains in the distance. It was a beautiful sight.

She doesn't know how many kilometers she has gone from Bakuyo's home, but she can tell… it's a lot.

After wrapping the plastic, she went to the public bathroom to have a shower and relieve herself from the sweat.

Refreshed a new. As she left the bathroom and clothed up, she pulled more quests from the menu, and do them again for the rest of the day.
