Chapter 260: Ripping The Dragon G.o.d Apart Alive, Freeing The Humans

“Isn’t the Dragon G.o.d unable to descend upon Heaven’s Vault Continent, though? Why is its divinity projection that strong?”

“That’s no divinity projection, but the Dragon G.o.d descending in its true body instead. Can’t you feel the terrifying dragon might? That’s definitely its true Colossal Dragon body!”

“Descending in its true body? How did the Dragon G.o.d manage that?”

“Who knows?”

“In any case, Meng Lei’s in for it...”

Although the experts were puzzled over the Dragon G.o.d descending in its true body, they were gloating more over Meng Lei’s predicament. They were looking forward very much to the exciting show about to be put on.

“Foolish and lowly mortal!”

The Golden Colossal Dragon slowly descended, the divine power emanating from it becoming increasingly vaster and mightier. Its voice thundered and spread into the surroundings as it asked, “Do you own up to your sins?”

“My sins?”

Meng Lei shook his head and chuckled softly at the Dragon G.o.d’s question. “Your Holiness, I’ve done many things. Which are you referring to? Are you talking about me killing the Dragon G.o.d Empire emperor, slaughtering your Dragon descendants, or smas.h.i.+ng your divinity projection into pieces with my hammer?”

“How dare you!”

The Dragon G.o.d roared, “You were originally a citizen of the Dragon G.o.d Empire and have received the Dragon G.o.d Empire’s kindness, yet you’ve killed the monarch, rebelled and showed disrespect for those above you, repaid kindness with enmity, and challenged this G.o.d’s authority. Weighed down with sins and perverse in behavior, you’re a heinous Devil that’s wicked beyond redemption!

“Today, I am going to subject you to a slow, torturous death where I’ll extract your tendons and break your bones, and let all the foolish mortals know just how terrifying a G.o.d’s wrath is!”

“How dare a mere big lizard with wings call itself a G.o.d?” Meng Lei sneered. “Where is Bubbles?”

“Here, Master!”

Bubbles stepped forward upon summon.

“The emergence of the humans is bound to be accompanied by endless bloodshed. Today just so happens to be the start of the humans’ emergence, so how can we avoid a bloodbath?”

A dispa.s.sionate Meng Lei ordered, “Go! Take down that big lizard, extract its Dragon tendons, break its wings, and gouge out its heart and organs.

“I shall eat its liver as my meal, drink its blood in place of wine, fas.h.i.+on its Dragon horn into a cup, and use its scales in a banquet to host my people and guests!”

“Master’s will... is my command!”

With a roar, Bubbles morphed into a stream of light that shot toward the Dragon G.o.d!

⊙0⊙

A dumbfounded look came over the people at the sight.

What? What was he doing?

Sending a subordinate to battle the Dragon G.o.d? Had Meng Lei’s brain been caught in between Sister Feng’s[1] a*s?

“To think you’ve actually sent your own subordinate to his death! Have you chickened out, you renegade? No matter, once that foolish t.i.tan is dead, it’ll be your turn next!”

The Tempest Colossal Dragon’s eyes were filled with murderous intent.

The Fairy Empress, the Beast Emperor, and the Thunder t.i.tan Emperor’s brows were also tightly locked. What kind of existence was the Dragon G.o.d? What did Meng Lei mean by sending a subordinate to deal with it?

Did he think that by sending a subordinate, he would be able to suss out the Dragon G.o.d’s skills and thereby raise his chances of winning?

What immature behavior!

“Big lizard, you just had to choose this moment to show up, didn’t you? You’re just offering yourself up to be hammered by me! Since that’s the case, I won’t hold back!”

Bubbles’ finger joints popped loudly as he clenched his fists, appearing to be extremely excited. He hadn’t even had the chance to test his skills after a.s.similating a divine core recently, yet now the Dragon G.o.d had delivered himself right to his doorstep!

Wouldn’t he be a fool if he didn’t take up the offer?

“Die, you d.a.m.ned worm!”

The Dragon G.o.d was furious.

It was the great Dragon G.o.d! This particular body that it’d taken over might only be as strong as a true G.o.d, but how could Meng Lei send a subordinate to battle it?

This was practically an inconceivably huge insult to it!

“Get lost!”

The Dragon G.o.d let out a furious roar and reached out with its ma.s.sive claw, which was bigger than even a mountain. It swiped right at Bubbles, intending to smash him into smithereens with one hit.

“Haha, nice one!”

Instead of retreating, Bubbles went forward and actually charged straight toward the Dragon claw smacking down at him, shocking all the spectators.

“You’re courting death!”

“Is that guy a fool?”

“Doesn’t he know that that’s the Dragon G.o.d...?”

However, what happened next flabbergasted everyone—not only did the enormous claw not smash Bubbles into bits, but Bubbles even punched a hole through it with his fist, causing it to bleed furiously.

Howl!

The Dragon G.o.d let out a cry of pain and instantly retracted its claw. It glowered at Bubbles with its huge eyes as it exclaimed, “You... can actually wound me?”

“Wound you? I’m even going to kill you!”

With a loud laugh, Bubbles then started to expand dramatically like an inflating balloon. In an instant, he had expanded into a 100,000-feet-tall giant. His enormous size wasn’t the least bit inferior to the Dragon G.o.d’s 100,000-feet-long Golden Colossal Dragon form.

The might of his divine power didn’t lose out to that of the Dragon G.o.d’s, which was also mixed with its own dragon might!

“...”

Everyone was stunned by the sight.

Be it a half-deity expert like the Tempest Colossal Dragon, the three monarchs—the Beast Emperor, the Thunder t.i.tan Emperor, the Fairy Empress—or the other commoners, wors.h.i.+pers, or Saint Domain experts, everyone couldn’t be any more astounded.

“A t.i.tan!”

“What a tall t.i.tan!”

“Is he also a half-deity?”

“Oh my G.o.d! He’s a t.i.tan of true G.o.d-level!”

“How did he become a true G.o.d?”

“Come over here, big worm! Daddy will show you a good time!”

Bubbles stretched out his larger-than-a-mountain hand with a sinister laugh and grabbed at the Dragon G.o.d.

The Dragon G.o.d roared furiously, raised its sharp and sinister-looking claw, and met Bubbles’ attack head-on.

Snap!

As though a meteor cras.h.i.+ng into the moon, palm and claw clashed against each other. Amid earthshaking explosions, the void broke inch by inch and turned into a gigantic black hole.

Howl!

As a cry rang out, everyone watched to their horror as the mighty, awe-inspiring Dragon G.o.d was actually pushed back, stumbling as it did so. Blood gushed out of its claw and splattered into the sky!

“How can that be?”

Everyone was shocked and horrified. That was merely their first clash, yet the Dragon G.o.d had already suffered injuries. Was Bubbles, a half-deity, actually that strong?

“Again, again!”

Bubbles guffawed and pounced right at the Dragon G.o.d. His fists, which were larger than even mountains, rained down upon the Dragon G.o.d.

The Dragon G.o.d was continuously pushed back amid dull, m.u.f.fled thuds. A few punches later, the Dragon G.o.d could actually no longer form any sort of effective counter.

It was being badly suppressed.

That’s right—Bubbles was completely suppressing it!

“Oh my G.o.d!”

“This, this...”

Everyone was so astonished that their eyeb.a.l.l.s were nearly falling out of their sockets. The sight currently taking place in front of them was totally different from what they had imagined. The Dragon G.o.d was actually being suppressed?

How had things turned out like that?

The Thunder t.i.tan Emperor was shocked and horrified. “Since when has that traitor Bubbles become so strong?”

He didn’t know whether or not the Dragon G.o.d had displayed its full strength at this point yet, but he was very clear on one thing—Bubbles had become even stronger than how he was two years ago.

Two years ago, Bubbles had only been slightly stronger than his father!

Yet two years later, he was actually 100,000-feet-tall and rivaled a true G.o.d on this day!

Two years! What exactly had he gone through during this period of time?

“Hahaha! Is that all you’ve got, big lizard?”

Bubbles became more and more valiant as the fight went on. Every punch he threw contained terrifying force. Every punch that landed on the Dragon G.o.d dizzied it and caused its blood and energy flow to churn.

The Dragon G.o.d was practically losing its mind. In order to seek revenge on Meng Lei, it had specially picked from its divine nation a true G.o.d-level Colossal Dragon that hadn’t yet pa.s.sed 10,000 years from its point of deification.

Then, it had destroyed its divine spirit, seized its divine body, and taken it over in order to descend upon Heaven’s Vault Continent.

To the Dragon G.o.d, its current prowess was enough to sweep across Heaven’s Vault Continent without obstacles. Be it Meng Lei or any other half-deities, no one should have been a match for it.

In fact, killing every one of these renegades and even driving the Fairies, t.i.tans, and Beast People back to their dens and unifying Heaven’s Vault Continent like what he had done 50,000 years ago should have been no difficult task.

Yet cruel reality had given the Dragon G.o.d a loud, resounding slap across the cheek. Meng Lei hadn’t even lifted a finger but only casually deployed a subordinate, yet it was already being badly beaten up...

This was too G.o.dd.a.m.n unbearable!!

“How dare you challenge Master when this is all you’ve got? You overestimate yourself!”

After a series of explosive attacks, the Dragon G.o.d was unsurprisingly knocked out. Bubbles then brought the Dragon G.o.d, which was covered in wounds and barely alive, over to Meng Lei.

He said, “Master, I’ve brought this guy here!”

“Your Holiness!”

Meng Lei looked at the Dragon G.o.d and said, “Your time is already over. Wouldn’t it have been great had you just obediently stayed in your divine nation? Why must you intentionally get involved in a messy situation like this?”

“Why?”

Indignation filled the Dragon G.o.d’s eyes as it said, “How did your subordinate become a true G.o.d? He clearly doesn’t have any wors.h.i.+pers! Without power of faith nouris.h.i.+ng him—”

“Do you want to know why? But why should I tell you?” Meng Lei waved dismissively. Then, he said, “Slay him, Bubbles!”

“Yes, Master!”

Thus, Bubbles took on the role of a butcher.

With a stroke from his stretched out hand, Dragon scales fell.

With a casual snap, Dragon horns were broken.

With a forceful pull, Dragon tendons were extracted.

“Aaahhhh!!”

At once, the Dragon G.o.d let out a heartrending scream, yet it couldn’t budge even an inch.

Bubbles’ physical strength was simply too fearsome. It was far, far beyond what he had imagined.

Just like that, as everyone present watched in dumbfounded silence, Bubbles killed the Dragon G.o.d as if he were killing a pig for Lunar New Year celebrations.

He stripped the Dragon G.o.d of its scales and ripped off its skin.

Then, he collected its blood and extracted its internal organs.

Lastly, he washed its liver and cleaned its entrails.

The poor Dragon G.o.d was a great true G.o.d, yet it had been slaughtered amid its own indignant, baleful, and furious screams. It could be said to be the deity that had suffered the most tragic death in Heaven’s Vault Continent’s history.

“The task has been successfully completed, Master!”

“Great!”

Meng Lei nodded lightly. He split the Dragon G.o.d’s blood into a million portions with a big wave and sent them right up to everyone present.

“My thanks to everyone for joining us in today’s ceremony. I am immensely grateful. I can only offer you Dragon blood in place of wine to thank everyone for gracing me with your presence!

“Don’t worry, the divinity in the Dragon blood has been fully cleansed. You may drink it with no worries!”

Then, Meng Lei picked up a bowl of Dragon blood, threw back his head, and downed it all. Bubbles and the other ten half-deities also did the same.

Everyone gazed at the Dragon blood in front of them, all somewhat hesitant. However, immune delight surfaced in the half-deities and Saint Domain experts’ eyes, and they raised their heads and drank all the blood.

The Dragon G.o.d’s blood!

Just what kind of supreme treasure was that?

They couldn’t have a sip of it even in their dreams usually! Now that it was sitting right before them, they would be fools if they didn’t drink it!

After a few moments of hesitation, the commoners and wors.h.i.+pers also raised their heads and drank it all down.

Meng Lei wasn’t the least bit worried that their bodies would explode and lead to their deaths. Although the Dragon G.o.d’s blood contained a vast amount of energy, there was too little in each portion after splitting it into a million portions. Therefore, it was within an ordinary person’s capacity.

“d.a.m.n! He’s killed even the Dragon G.o.d!”

The Tempest Colossal Dragon hidden in the crowd gazed at the Dragon blood in front of him, his heart quivering.

He had initially thought that with the Dragon G.o.d’s descent, the Dragon G.o.d would definitely be able to unleash its power and kill Meng Lei. Yet the reality of the matter was...

“I hereby declare—from today onward, the Dragon G.o.d Empire shall officially change its name to the Meng Lei Empire, and I shall officially become the Meng Lei Empire’s founding emperor!”

Meng Lei’s voice thundered as he declared, “My first order as the emperor is as follows—free every human who’s still being exploited, enslaved, and abused! The range—all the humans on the continent!”

“How presumptuous!”
