'She is hiding a lot more than she shows.'

The thought made me look at the direction in which Isabella had left. The situation on the other side was even worse than what others think it to be, and no acquisition or situation gives hope that others won't also jump s.h.i.+p, especially with the power all these so-called organisations hold.

A small smile appeared on my lips as these thoughts filled my mind, my gaze going towards the ceiling. One of the waiters who was missing during the negotiation came forth to place a light hot chocolate on my table. With that, he went away, leaving me seated in this place with lots of different ideas running through my mind, but the main ones were focused on the academy itself.

As such thoughts filled me, my hands flashed, a piece of paper falling into my hands as I wrote some words on it. Soon after, I snapped my hands at the same waiter coming to me to whom I gave this paper, my eyes seemingly closing down as I spoke.

"Spread this to Alex. He will know what to do with this info."

The man nodded at my words as he went away, leaving me in the place, lost in my thoughts, my senses spreading out as I watched the important things happening within the place. My mark was towards Mira and my mother, who were seemingly coming to form their own plan, a call already having gone towards my sisters.

Then, my senses focused on Girika moving around. She was soon met by Isabella, the two of them facing each other as some sort of talk began.

Third Person POV:

"What did he say?" Girika asked with a calm tone, to which Isabella answered with the same wavelength.

"He is still onboard with helping me with my issues, and he didn't seem all that surprised or too emotionally shaken at my seemingly great betrayal," she replied.

Her words made Girika nod her head, several things going through Girika's mind as she spoke. "The situation has now unfolded. Everything is set, right?" Girika asked.

Isabella nodded at those words as she responded, "Yes, everything is already settled on my side, and as long as the promise of power you gave me stands, there would be no need to see any betrayal from my side."

Girika smirked at that reply, her gaze seemingly being taken away from Isabella to look towards the café shop she had come from, her thoughts being jumbled as a follower came up to her and spoke.

"All of them are fine, but for some reason, their whole mana pathways were blocked for that single moment. The others are trying to figure out what he had used to win such power."

Girika's smile only widened at the question as she replied, "An artefact, no doubt."

As she said this, her gaze turned away from the café as she came to face Isabella, whose face, while remaining impa.s.sive, seemingly held questions for her.

"Will he be a problem?" Isabella asked, her voice strained, to which a thoughtful look came over Girika. Her gaze met Isabella's as she replied, "He is indeed a problem, and I can perhaps say he is among the most mysterious foes that I have yet to deal with. Though it doesn't matter—I have never lost till now, and I also don't plan on ever losing. He still has the arrogance of the young and of the typical male. That ego shall be his undoing."

With that, Girika spoke to the follower beside her, "Tell those fools we were holding back that they have the green light. Let them go free, we will use them as the first stepping stone."

As she said this, Girika turned to look at Isabella as she spoke, "Come with me. It's time you attend the true meeting of the ones having true power within this academy."

As she said this, Girika started to walk, the follower going away to complete his duty while Isabella walked beside her. The two of them walked away, disappearing into the settling night.

Austin POV:

'Um...guess it's really starting.'

I stood up from the seat with that thought, lightly stretching my body as I already had in- depth details about all the leaders playing within this field. Many new capture targets were among them, and settling them will take time, and it will also come with the true suffocation of the power all these organisations hold within this city.

Their powers might be more neutral within the land, but in this free-floating city, their power cannot be denied at all, and they cannot be faced against, too. The amount of power they can affect here is humongous, which also folds towards those youngsters from those powers, capable of begging at their daddies to get things done.

Sure, they can't really put influence here, but small things that won't be caught under the radar won't be fully caught. However, even that will soon find its problems. I smirked at that thought, my gaze travelling through the whole place to feel the mighty elders moving around -the old monsters with true powers already awake.

And since they are already moving around, they will surely stick on for some time before going underground again, and that will be my greatest barrier that will block all these elite- minded ones from fully calling on the power of their families or the ones backing them. There are several inner depths as to why I had Luna come and display herself so brightly over here.

I wanted the disruption to be caused by her, something so huge that it engulfs the whole world and affects all the powers in the world, too. One of the reasons I did this is for this sense of security.

Who do you think really has power here? Of course, the organisations do, but these old monsters that maintain the neutrality are not to be messed with at all. Their power goes deep, and their will for this place cannot be shaken. With them out in the world, all those powerful ones will think ten times before they try to do anything.

Any sort of corruption, any sort of thing that needs to be dealt with, won't flow as easily as before. While my aunt has some power, the true power and respect are commanded by these old monsters, and they still live and continue based on their most guarded logic. Trying to mess with it isn't possible at all.

Thus, anything or any type of thing they don't like won't happen anymore. Girika thinks the fact that they won't interfere in these things, and she is wrong as h.e.l.l. They already have a mild dislike for these ones coming to the academy at all.

All of these old monsters were born in this place. They had gone against the organisations and placed trust in this academy as a powerhouse that helps and gives opportunities to true talents, allowing for them to bloom and grow, giving them resources and protecting them from the pressures of the outside world.

It's how all they grew up to be, and they have a mild dislike for the ones coming from the organisations. After all, they grew under this power. There was no teacher or no resources they couldn't get, and now they all jumped into this place where resources are already less, and students are still fighting against each other?

The dislike in them is s.h.i.+ning greater than any. But as true leaders, they won't be able to fully interject with youngsters who want to learn, but that doesn't mean they won't be able to stop everything else. They will watch like a hawk these elites, making sure not one of them will break even the smallest rules there is.

A smile came to my face when I thought of what had already been done. Of course, the elders haven't been pushed to the level of checking everything like a hawk, but that situation won't be far away, too. I already have a plan in motion that will fully steer the emotions in the hearts of these old ones, especially the ones that carry honour and grace in their actions.

The elders will be the greatest protection for the rest. If I hadn't brought them out, then even a fighting chance would have been impossible. Girika and her a.s.sociates have done well till now, using all the tricks in their books, but now none of them will even be useful anymore. I have already made sure of it.

After this day, they will be facing a huge wall, and even beyond what I will create with the elders, their own backing would be too busy dealing with all the changes in power structure happening around them. The rebirth of the strongest divine beast isn't something to be taken lightly. It will change the whole power scale of this realm and the next.

This means all the ones scrambling for power would be busy keeping the power they already have while also scrambling to kiss the a.s.s of the one that has now awakened.

'Even then, this is just the tip of the iceberg of what I have prepared for the world.'
