Stand User in Marvel Universe Chapter 671

Chapter 671

Dio believed that he finally grasped the essence of the problem now. If the enemy really had the Reality Stone in her possession, it meant that she has already owned at least two Infinity Stones! Although Stephen’s disappearance didn’t necessarily mean that he had lost to the enemy, there was no telling what happened to him and so, Dio could only a.s.sume for the worst. 

But then again, Dio didn’t have any clue regarding who this mysterious woman that kept outwitting the Avengers was!

“We have to move! Let’s go!” Dio said and the rest of the heroes nodded their head and carried their search inside Wakanda. Although they were searching blindly as they didn’t have any clue on the enemy’s appearance, they still had to challenge their luck. 

Instead of joining the search, Dio returned to the research room and summoned [Moody Blues] as he wanted to use its special ability to track the enemy. But as he ordered the [Moody Blues] to watch a few minutes before the Fake Wanda appeared, [Moody Blues] couldn’t process anything at that time! Dio was confused as this was the first time that something like this happened to [Moody Blues].

But it wasn’t completely impossible either as he knew that the enemy that could control the reality could just alter the surrounding area and situation to suit their needs. It happened in the movie before when Thanos used the Reality Stone to change his environment to fool the Guardian of the Galaxy’s perception. 

One thing that annoyed Dio right now was that the enemy appeared to be more cautious than he let on. Dio sighed and de-summoned the [Moody Blues], then summoned the Stand that he never thought would use anytime soon, but here he was summoning it to suit his need.

Stand Name: Beach Boy

Description: A Stand with the appearance of a Fis.h.i.+ng Rod.

Type: Close Range Stand

Ability: Hook and Line – the Hook of the fis.h.i.+ng line could phase through any object to directly attack the target, and a bait could be attached on the hook to serve as a trap. The Hook could sense any nearby biological atmosphere while sending any information it detected back to the user. The fis.h.i.+ng line is also indestructible as it would send any damage it takes back to whatever attacked it.

This Stand was mediocre except for its growth that showed some potential. Nevertheless, [Beach Boy]’s ability fit the current situation that Dio was in. Dio speculated that the enemy has been using the Reality Stone’s ability the entire time, creating a similar effect of Stealth that even eliminated any odor and other factors that could reveal its location!

However, that didn’t mean the other party didn’t exist! That was where [Beach Boy] came in as it could ignore anything on its path and hook the enemy without fail! 

Dio began to wander around with the Fis.h.i.+ng Rod which was the appearance of [Beach Boy] and constantly received many information about any living being within a short radius. 

n.o.body really knew what Dio was doing as they saw Dio walk around with a Fis.h.i.+ng Rod, but they didn’t question it as they knew that they couldn’t understand Dio’s power to begin with. Hours pa.s.sed without Dio gaining any good information, but then again he knew that finding the Reality Stone’s user would be no easy task.

He didn’t even know whether the Reality Stone user was still around or not!

“Did you find anything useful?” Steve asked as they met on the street.

“No, not yet!” Dio shook his head with a helpless sigh. 

“This is bad, are we going to rely on luck to find this woman?” Steve said as he too felt discouraged. 

“No, we have to carry on and keep searching for this woman. It is too early to give up!” Dio said confidently.

“You are right, it is too early to give up!” Steve said as he began stretching his legs. But suddenly, a dark red scythe flashed and cut off Steve’s right arm. 

“What? What the h.e.l.l!” Steve shouted as he began to sweat in pain. “Why are you doing this?” Steve asked Dio confusedly.

“You are clever, but how many times are you going to fool me? Besides, I am curious about your ident.i.ty!” Dio said coldly and at the same time, the hook from his fis.h.i.+ng rod sunk into the ground without anyone noticing. 

As he confirmed that Dio already saw through his disguise, the fake Steve immediately stood up “How did you see through my disguise?” Fake Steve asked indifferently.

“Why don’t you come out and I will tell you in person.” Dio said coldly. He didn’t attack the Fake Steve anymore as he thought that it was only an illusion created from the Reality Stone. He contacted the real Steve with the little snail and that was how he found out that Steve beside him wasn’t the real one, but instead a fake! But after he cut off Fake Steve’s arm, he immediately realised that it was just an illusion as the wound just easily closed off instead off bleeding like a normal living person. 

After hearing Dio’s word, Fake Steve began to laugh. It sounded like the worst thing that the enemy would do right now. Because of that, Dio felt annoyed as he didn’t get the reaction that he wants. “I know that you are probably hiding your ugly face so people couldn’t see it, but this is too boring!” Dio said with bored expression. 

“Whatever. Do you think I would be fooled by the likes of you? Did I forgot to mention that your sorcerer friend couldn’t even hold a candle to me? He couldn’t even last for two days with my mind games, but don’t worry, I would play with you as long as you want!” Fake Steve said with a smirk on his face.

Dio gripped his Scythe tighter. He didn’t know whether Fake Steve’s word was the truth or another lie, but the probability of Stephen in a very bad situation was very high!
