Stand User in Marvel Universe Chapter 672

Chapter 672

The Fis.h.i.+ng Hook phased through the wall to search for the Reality Stone user. Meanwhile, the Fake Steve was trying to throw Dio off by using Stephen Strange’s whereabout and current condition. But the Fis.h.i.+ng Hook from [Beach Boy] has locked onto something in an empty s.p.a.ce!

“Caught you!” Dio said as the Fis.h.i.+ng Hook immediately tied up an invisible person tightly. The Fis.h.i.+ng Hook penetrated the woman’s calf and immediately went for the heart. The woman was surprised, delaying her from reacting, and because of that, Dio that was holding a red scythe and a fis.h.i.+ng rod broke the door and walked in.

“Merry Christmas, a.s.shole!” Dio said annoyedly. The woman that was already tied up and had no where to run didn’t seem to panic even in this situation. 

“It seems you don’t care about the doctor’s life!” the woman said with a smirk on her face.

“It’s not too late for me to kill you first and then rescue him.” Dio said indifferently as he didn’t care about the woman’s threat as he walked towards her step by step. The woman was angry that Dio said that he would kill her, but she didn’t show it as she had to control her emotion.

“The next time we met, I will pay you back for all you did to me!” The woman said as she suddenly disappeared, leaving the Fis.h.i.+ng Hook that was about to penetrate her heart fall to the ground helplessly. Dio shook his head as he didn’t expect the woman to be this cautious. Dio also felt a little bit uneasy as he remembered the woman’s last word before disappearing, but his contemplation was dispersed as Wanda’s voice was heard on his mind.

“Shuri was manipulated! She opened the Energy Barrier and injured T’challa.” Wanda said via the little snail.

“d.a.m.n it!” Dio cursed at himself as he immediately rushed over to the Royal Palace. The woman was fully prepared for everything and Dio knew that he wouldn’t be able to catch her anytime soon. At the same time, the woman in black exposed her face towards Wakanda Palace before smirking and left Wakanda for unknown destination.

The crowd gathered in the hall and the atmosphere was a little bit tenser than usual. Obviously, Dio already spent a lot of energy and effort to make sure that the Mind Stone was secured, but they all failed to do so, which made it harder for them to stop Thanos in the future. To make matter worse, they now had trust issues as the enemy could easily transform themselves into one of them. 

Shuri was controlled by the enemy and almost killed T’challa. If he hadn’t used his Black Panther armour in time, he would have been killed by Shuri’s gun! No one could be prepared for any sudden attack from their own allies. As for the other news, Stephen should be still alive right now, but his life might be in danger. 

This time the enemy has taken their Mind Stone, and basically, the Time Stone was what they were after next! Also, Dio guessed that the enemy that came after the Mind Stone and the Time Stone had the Reality Stone with them and it meant the enemy already has 3 of the 6 Stones in their possession. Not to mention the s.p.a.ce Stone that was already on Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet and the Power Stone that should be still on the Macrophage Worm King’s possession. 

the question right now was how to respond to such fast development?

“Vision! Describe again what you were talking with the woman earlier, It’d be wise not to drop any words!” Dio said, breaking the silence on the hall. Although Vision didn’t know why Dio asked about it again, he nodded his head and began to tell the story once more.

After listening to Vision’s story, the crowd began to think and try to find the key information that might be hidden behind the woman interaction with Vision, but they couldn’t find anything special. 

“You said that she was interested in the topic about me?” Dio asked again. 

“Yes, that is correct!” Vision said confidently.

“I think we might turn this situation around!” Dio said as he groaned annoyedly.

“What do you mean? How do we do that?” Steve asked seriously.

“Combining the narrative from Vision and the simple exchange between me and her earlier, I might already know this woman before, or she might be someone that had contacted me in the past.” Dio said with a frown on his face. “I felt anger from her, but it wasn’t because she was my enemy, it’s more like she is interested in me, but my behaviour anger her, which is undoubtedly strange!” Dio explained. 

“Isn’t it because you have always played with other people’s feelings before abandoning them?” Pietro couldn’t help but interject the conversation. Dio just glared at Pietro as he knew that he couldn’t say anything to him while Wanda was here.

“Is it possible that she was here to seek revenge on you?” Tony asked curiously. 

“That is possible!” Dio said reluctantly. Steve groaned as well as they found revenge plot was the most troublesome of all villainous activity. Although the Avenger had saved the world again and again, it didn’t change the fact that so many innocent people died because of their action. This was also one of the reasons why Tony wanted the Avenger to sign the Socovia Accord to make sure the Avenger was managed and controlled by the United Nation.

They began to speculate the woman’s true ident.i.ty as they didn’t know why the woman was seeking revenge to Dio.

“The next time we meet again, I will pay you back for everything you did to me!” Dio said as he reiterated the woman’s last word. But Dio couldn’t even think of the reason why the woman said that to him, but he knew that it was the opportunity to meet again and get back the Infinity Stones from her grasp. 

As he knew this much, Dio planned to use himself as a bait to lure the woman!
