Chapter 673

In a villa in New York, a cat and mouse game has been played for a long time. The poor white mouse was trapped inside the villa with three cats, and its body was covered with bruises. But the one thing that people didn’t know was that the mouse was also a human and its name was Stephen Strange! 

Yes, it has various ident.i.ties, like the Sorcerer Supreme, The disciple of The Ancient One, the Guardian of the Time Stone, Dr. Strange, and many more. But now, it was just an ordinary mouse. A poor mouse that was often hungry and had nowhere to go but aside from the villa. 

If someone asked him why he was caught in such a predicament, Stephen would answer that it was all because of that abominable woman! The woman’s sneak attack caused Stephen to lose his ability to counter-attack, and she also took the Eye of Agamotto from him. He still survived right now, all because the enemy couldn’t open the Eye of Agamotto to take the Time Stone from it. 

Stephen knew that he had to keep the Time Stone as long as he could as it was his last chip for survival. Once the enemy took the Time Stone from him, he would lose his value, meaning that he would die at that moment. Therefore, he had to hold onto the Time Stone no matter what in order to survive while wasting the enemy’s time no matter how much it would torture him. 

The woman turned him into a mouse, turned two teacups into two cats, and locked the villa. Stephen didn’t know how the woman was able to do all this, but it didn’t matter right now as he must focus on his survival now. Due to lack of food and water, Stephen had to fight the two cats with his wisdom just to get a small bite of bread. He never knew that life as a mouse was so difficult before. Stephen even began to think what if he couldn’t return back to human and was stuck inside this mouse body. Did he have to accept such a life and strive to survive?

Or simply give up and die to end his suffering? 

If he was reborn, he would definitely write a book about his time as a mouse! But right now, he couldn’t afford to worry about such a meaningless thing as the woman has returned to the villa. The two cats immediately ran towards the woman’s leg as they were excited to see their master return.

“You don’t have to exist as you can’t even catch a little mouse!” the woman coldly said as she flashed her hand and a red light struck the two cats before turning them into bubbles! Then, she turned her head to the side, and The Aether immediately rushed out of her body before catching Stephen that watched her in the dark. Stephen was startled, but he couldn’t do anything with his mouse body.

“Poor little mouse, look at what the two stupid cats have done to you! but I am relieved that you survived the ordeal without you ended up in their belly!” The woman said with a sinister smile on her face.

Stephen’s eyes were full of anger, but he couldn’t do anything as he couldn’t even talk like a human in this mouse body. 

“Oh, sorry! I don’t understand rat language!” The woman said as she laughed out loud and slapped the rat’s head a couple of times. She turned the rat back to his human form, but she still bound Stephen’s body with the Aether tightly.

“How does it feel to return to being human after staying as a rat for a long time?” The woman asked.

“Very good, but I don’t think I could recover the mental trauma anytime soon! I don’t think I would be keeping any cats in my house any time soon.” Stephen answered calmly. Although he had so many scars all over his body, he needed to stay calm. He still had the Time Stone, so the enemy wouldn’t kill him anytime soon. 

“It appears that you really like the second life I have given to you, but how about turning you into a c.o.c.kroach next time? I think you would like the life inside the sewer!” the woman said as she laughed once more. 

“It’s useless. No matter what you turned me into, you won’t get the Time Stone! If you kill me now, you won’t be able to open the Eye of Agamotto to retrieve your Time Stone either!” Stephen said confidently. 

“I admit that it was a ha.s.sle to open this thing, but maybe it doesn’t really matter right now. You will obey my command and open it for me anyway!” The woman said as she smiled beautifully, reaching for Stephen’s face and stroking it gently. 

“If you are joking, it’s not funny! If you can force me to submit to your demand, then you would have done so already! There is no need for you to bluff anymore. Although there are other means to open the Eye of Agamotto, you will never get the chance to open it!” Stephen said confidently. 

But then Stephen noticed the new ring on the woman’s hand. The jewel on the ring shone in yellow light, and it seemed familiar for Stephen as he had already seen it somewhere. 

“Does this ring look good on me? I believe that this gem would give me a satisfactory result!” The woman smirked as she put her finger on Stephen’s forehead. At this time, Stephen finally remembered why the gem on the woman’s finger gave off a familiar feeling. It was because he had seen it before, and it was the gem on top of Vision’s forehead!

It also had another name, and it was called Mind Stone! Was it a powerful stone that could control other people’s minds? At the moment of realisation, Stephen’s face suddenly paled as a yellow light penetrated his brain. 

The look on Stephen’s eyes suddenly became empty, as if he had become a robot without any emotion. The woman recovered the Aether that bound Stephen and released him. “Open this thing and give me the Time Stone!” The woman ordered Stephen. 

“Yes, master!” Stephen said expressionlessly. 

Stephen then opened the Eye of Agamotto himself, like the woman said he would!
