Chapter 800

Luci has gotten desperate to destroy Thanos’ battles.h.i.+p, but suddenly the target of Thanos’ battles.h.i.+p turned around, and they began to fire at the clouds. Everyone was surprised by this change as they didn’t understand what Thanos was planning to do by this sudden turn of events.

“What happened?” Falcon said as he came down to the ground confusedly. 

“What are they firing at, Friday?” Tony asked his A.I.

“Something is moving through the atmosphere at extreme speed,” Friday responded timely.

Dio looked up and smiled as he saw the familiar light coming from the sky. 

“Why are you smiling like that?” Wanda asked as she saw Dio smiling without reason. 

“The one-eyed man finally remembers his secret calling card!” Dio said with a smile on his face.

“What do you mean?” Wanda curiously asked as she didn’t understand Dio’s word.

“Well, let’s just say that Thanos’ battles.h.i.+p would go down soon!” Dio said with a shrug while embracing Wanda once more. He couldn’t help it as Wanda was too adorable for him. 

Wanda pretended to dislike it and pushed Dio a little, but her attention was still focused on the sky as she wanted to see what would happen next. 

Meanwhile, Thanos knew who would come, which was why he looked at the sky with a big frown on his face. He could feel the extremely powerful energy that came from s.p.a.ce penetrating the atmosphere of Earth super fast, and sure enough, the powerful energy blasted through one of his battles.h.i.+ps so easily! 

The energy slowed down after destroying one of Thanos’ main s.h.i.+ps, and Carol Denver could be seen floating in the air. She quickly rushed toward another battles.h.i.+p of Thanos and destroyed it without any hesitation. She was called for battle, and destroying things was kind of her main forte! 

The wreckage of Thanos’ main battles.h.i.+p that Carol destroyed fell to the lake, causing a huge rising wave to splash into the land. However, it didn’t affect the Avenger’s battle at all. In fact, it was a good thing as Thanos’s main weapon in the sky was finally shut down! 

“Hey, do you need any help?” Carol said as she flew to Dio’s side, and her gorgeous appearance could be seen clearly. She turned off her power as it was exhausting for her to keep it active all the time, especially after using it to traverse s.p.a.ce to reach Earth as fast as possible! 

“Well, it’s good that you are here! Otherwise, I would be forced to create a wanted order to drag you here!” Dio said jokingly.

“I don’t know, the last time I made contact with Earth, someone said that everything is under control!” Carol teasingly said as Dio did receive Carol’s contact and told her that everything was under control. 

Dio was a little embarra.s.sed by this fact, but still, his plan had come to fruition, and half of the universe had been successfully brought back! But Thanos was persistent and followed them to the future! 

Dio would never think that Nebula would get captured, and Thanos would use Nebula’s memory to access the Quantum Tunnel like that! It was unfortunate, but there was no point crying over spilled milk! There was nothing Dio could do right now except for fighting Thanos and killing him permanently. 

It was fortunate that Carol decided to return to Earth now, as it would definitely help a lot! Her entrance alone provided a ma.s.sive help as none of the Avengers had the opportunity to destroy Thanos’ Main Battles.h.i.+p as Carol did. 

Nevertheless, Dio doubted that Thanos knew about Carol’s existence. After all, in Thanos’s real timeline, he wouldn’t meet with Carol that quickly! 

Carol herself also regretted that she couldn’t destroy Thanos’ Main Battles.h.i.+p when she defended the Hamon Planet in the past, and now she finally had the opportunity to redeem herself! This was Carol’s true nature! She was practically a vengeful woman! She wouldn’t forget the terrible experience of being captured by Thanos, so she held a grudge against Thanos! 

“I will leave the enemy in the sky to you!” Dio ordered Carol around. Honestly, Carol already knew of Dio’s bossy nature, and she just rolled her eyes, but she didn’t complain because it was also something she wanted to do. 

“What are you doing before I arrive? Isn’t this a battlefield, not a love motel?” Carol said as he teased Dio out of habit. Dio was surprised by Carol’s blatant words and was left speechless!

“Hey, I have more important things to do!” Dio said as he patted Galaxy’s neck and Galaxy immediately flew away from Carol. 

At the same time, Peter Parker’s Spiderman costume was already tattered as he was beaten up for keeping the Infinity Gauntlet away from the Chitauri Army. Peter was just a child, so he wasn’t really used to the battle of this scale! 

“You are doing well, Peter. Leave the rest to me now!” Dio said as he asked for the Infinity Gauntlet from Peter’s possession. 

“Uhh, okay! Here, Mr. Dio!” Peter said meekly. Peter respected Tony the most out of the Avengers, but he couldn’t help but feel intimidated in front of Dio, even though Peter was always amazed by everything that Dio ever did. 

Dio caught the Infinity gauntlet that Peter threw toward him and flew away from Peter, drawing the Chitauri away from the beaten Spiderman. 

Meanwhile, Scott’s van that held the Quantum Tunnel was still safe as everyone protected it from the bombardment. 

Peter was relieved that Dio took the Infinity Gauntlet, but he wasn’t out of danger yet! He looked around and saw many Chitauri army rus.h.i.+ng towards Dio, but the problem was he was right between them, and there was no other hero around him to help either! 

“Guys, I think I need a little help!” Peter shouted as he tried to swing for safety. But Carol immediately stepped in and blasted the Chitauri that came Peter’s way.

“I think you should step back far away from here, kid!” Carol said solemnly.
