Stand User in Marvel Universe Chapter 809

Chapter 809

The matter just got worse as the two asteroids were too close to each other,  which meant the missiles wouldn’t be doing much to slow it down! “Friday, focus all firepower!” Tony said hurriedly. 

“No, it’s too late! Let me handle it!” Dio said calmly. He touched Hulk’s arm and used Reality Overwrite to heal Hulk’s hand back to normal. Dio then took the Infinity Gauntlet and put it in his right hand.

“Are you crazy? Don’t you see that it almost killed the Hulk?” Natasha said worriedly.

“Relax, have you ever seen me do something I am not sure of?” Dio said with a smile on his face. He didn’t have the gamma radiation like the Hulk to s.h.i.+eld him from the Infinity Stones’ energy. However, Dio was confident that the Hamon Energy on his body could theoretically protect him somehow. Nevertheless, Dio’s survival chance should be better than most people here!

Furthermore, with the power of [The World], Dio would surely survive!

“Come on! I hate it when people try to act tough!” Thor shouted suddenly. Carol immediately raised her eyebrows at Thor as she didn’t expect Thor to say something like that!

“As the strongest Avengers, I think I have to be the one to snap that ugly gauntlet!” Thor said as he walked towards Dio. Carol then stepped in front of Thor, staring him down and stopping him from getting anywhere near Dio.

Dio just shook his head as it seemed they were still competing about who was the strongest Avenger!

“I am Dio, and I will do it!” Dio said as he raised his hand with the Infinity Gauntlet on, and a flash of light immediately came from the Infinity Stones! The energy started to fluctuate, burning through Dio’s hand right away!

Dio felt the pain from the burn, but he pushed through, ignoring the pain until he got the job done! At the same time, the Hamon energy inside him began to run amok, instantly protecting his body from harm. At the very least, it was trying to protect Dio’s body! 

Thankfully, it did work to an extent. The pain Dio felt began to lessen as Hamon Energy tried to fix his burned arms. He remained calm and used the Hamon Breathing Technique to control the Hamon Energy that ran amok!

Dio knew that he ought to make sure that Hamon Energy kept stabilising itself to offset the Infinity Gauntlet’s energy. Dio could handle the energy of the Power Stone, but with all the 6 Infinity Stones together, he had to put in the extra effort.

But still, Hamon Energy couldn’t completely protect his body, and thus the energy of the Infinity Gauntlet still had some impact on his body.

“Dio, how are you feeling!” Steve asked nervously. Wanda clenched her fist together as her eyes started to flash with crimson colour. Although she didn’t say anything, she was the one who worried about Dio the most right now!

Dio just nodded his head to answer Steve’s questions.

At the same time, Venom that still lay inside his body was trying hard to fix Dio’s broken tissue repeatedly! Although Venom was asleep the entire time, it was awoken as soon as the Infinity Stones’ energy jolted into Dio’s body. Still, Venom had to bear an unbelievable pain withstanding the energy, sharing it together with Dio.

Now, there was a chance that Venom would be completely burned if Dio couldn’t complete what he was about to do quickly! Venom has long thought about abandoning Dio, especially after seeing that Peter was nearby! But now, Venom couldn’t do it as he would be burned along with Dio if he couldn’t help Dio right now! 

Venom made a vow to himself that he would escape Dio’s body as soon as this was over! He wanted to get as far away from Dio as possible! 

At the same time, Dio didn’t know that the squatter inside his body was talking trash about him, but he immediately started to use the Infinity Gauntlet nonetheless.

“I will start immediately!” Dio said as the energy from the Infinity Gauntlet started to condense. He focused his attention on the two asteroids that were getting too close to the Earth. If he failed right now, there was no doubt that the Earth would be destroyed, and it would be the end of the world! People all over the world have already prayed in despair to their respective G.o.ds! 

But now, Dio would show them a miracle!

Dio snapped his fingers, and the Asteroids immediately turned into ashes, blown away by the wind, scattered in the air. But it wasn’t the only thing that turned to dust. The rubble of the city from the first asteroids too also disappeared! The remnant of Thanos’ s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps and the Chitauri were all gone too! 

It was like Thanos had never been to the future at all! 

The Infinity Gauntlet fell immediately to the ground, and Dio’s right arms were completely destroyed, also, half of Dio’s face was badly burned! 

“Dio!” Wanda said as she rushed towards Dio. Her face was full of worry while shedding tears profusely. Dio just looked at Wanda with a big smile on his face. He wanted to say something to Wanda, but nausea took over, and Dio was puking profusely.

“Oh, that’s better!” Dio said as he held his head high. The last remaining Hamon Energy in his body immediately went out of control to try to save Dio’s life! But still, Dio was barely surviving while Venom was dying to keep its host alive! 

Dio finally realised how durable the Hulk was as he experienced how powerful the Infinity Gauntlet’s energy really was. Still, he knew that if it was someone else, like was Thor or Carol, they wouldn’t be able to handle the Infinity Gauntlet’s power! 

Wanda sat on the ground beside Dio and embraced him in her arms. She cried for Dio’s safety, but she knew that there was nothing she could do about it.

Tony ordered Friday to scan Dio as he wanted to know Dio’s complete condition, and Friday immediately reported.

“Mr. Dio’s internal organ is in shamble right now. It is a miracle that Dio is even standing here!” Friday replied. Now, even though they were on the same team, he couldn’t seem to like Dio that much!
