Ball Master 7 Chapter 7: News, Gossip And Game Day

"Jayson, congratulations you're on the newspaper" Shery's voice rang early morning in the living room of Friday, while Jayson is busy in the kitchen.

He was a little embarra.s.sed and didn't think about the consequence. That he would print on the newspaper and reported on the TV about this matter. He felt even more absurd when Lindsay Lohan's Brokerage Firm characterize the incident as heinous attack.

"Jayson, don't worry about it coz Disney won't pursue this thing anymore. That girl has no driver's license at all. The insurance company has already clarified this is a traffic accident and will be responsible for it. If we file a lawsuit, Lindsey Lohan will be sent to the community service at minimum" Avril said.

Avril's support on Jayson's showed in this matter like the crotch attack to the two bodyguards or last kiss on Lindsay Lohan was perfect.

"Jayson, I heard that you will go to Staples Arena to play game this afternoon?" Avril said.

"Yes we are playing against UCLA" Jayson replied.

"Would you like me to create a scene for you?" Avril ask excitedly.

Seeing his sister like this, Jayson can't help but thought of reporters swarming last with Lindsay Lohan escaping.

"Anyway he can't get on the court" Shery splash him with cold water.

"Oh not this time, coz tonight Coach Olivia has promised me that she would gave some playing time and I will take this game like NBA finals so wait and see me!" Jayson said.

"Jayson, you're already in the news and focus of the media." Shery lifted the newspaper and read the headline: "Avril Lavigne is on the street with a mysterious guy and kiss Lindsay Lohan!"

Jayson just rolled his eyes and too busy to care about this thing right now is the upcoming game. When he came to arena to meet his team mates, Ryan Elmquist took out a newspaper is L.A. Entertainment News and a photo of Lindsay Lohan's kissing with one hand.

Some changes on the t.i.tle... Avril's companion knocked down Lindsay Lohan's bodyguard and kissed the Disney Princess.

"Hey Jayson, what's the taste of Disney princess lips? Is it softer than normal person? Ryan Elmquist asked.

"I never thought your palm is big that you can actually grab her head with one hand but why can't you grab the ball too? Wei Li ask.

"Disney said they will sue you for a.s.sault. Are you afraid? Han Bin asks.

His Beavers teammates seem like to gossip coz everyone keep asking about the incident yesterday. In the end, he was saved by his Coach Olivia who came over and said: "You guys seem to be energetic today now, do you want to run 15 laps or get on the bus now...

Coach Olivia words were full of murderous intent and the players quickly line up to get on bus. Jayson was called by Coach Olivia: Are you ready to play?

"I'm in good condition coach" Jayson replied.

"OK you can be good point guard and score some if you're open to shoot, this game is very important for you, me, and the team so do your best today" Coach Olivia said.

"Thank you Coach" Jayson briefly replied.

When Olivia saw that Jayson wants stop the conversation, she didn't talk anymore, wave her hand, and then got on the bus. The team's management's business isn't a simple thing that players can know, so the pressure will fall on her shoulders.

"I pray for G.o.d's blessing tonight" Coach Olivia devoutly singed a cross on her chest and took the team to the venue to meet the UCLA.

The current UCLA has two core players, Jason Kopono and Jordan Farmar and will likely join this year's NBA draft so this game is very important for them. Their performance each game will change their draft market, so they'll be desperate for tonight's game.

Unlike those UCLA guys, Matthew is restrained and not fond of media so when he was by a reporter about the game he said:" We will try our best and fight to the last moment."

He was an honest guy and from the outside view of the world, Caltech Beavers morale has been low since they came. When they arrive in the Arena, it was already one-thirty in the afternoon so Coach Olivia roams with the boys in the Staples Arena. When they came to the Lakers locker room, they were all excited.

"This is Lakers" Matthew said.

"Maybe Shaquille O'Neill is still sitting in that chair "Eric excitedly went to the biggest ma.s.sage chair.

"There's also Kobe, Malone and Gary Peyton... This is famous people in basketball history" Daniel said while sitting like a boss.

The game between Caltech Beavers vs. UCLA Bruins is worth mentioning this afternoon. Lakers will be at home against San Antonio Spurs and Coach Olivia got the boys tickets for free. This made them excited than their own game while Jayson didn't care at all coz enjoying the ma.s.sage care of Kobe.

"Hey Jayson, you can't sleep there, its exclusive ma.s.sage bed use by Kobe Bryant" Coach Olivia yelled at the lying Jayson.

"Yah, fine whatever" Jayson snorted and got up from the ma.s.sage bed while saying:" There's nothing special or amazing about it and I'm also a person who will be the greatest basketball players of all time! d.a.m.n aliens!!"

After visiting the Lakers; locker room, Coach Olivia take the group to get their lunch. When Ryan and Daniel screamed "Kobe" and the guys rush over get a glimpse of Black Mamba.

While Jayson was calm and doesn't like to chase stars, well his favorite player isn't Kobe Bryant so there's nothing to it. Coach Olivia looks Jayson strangely and asks: "Don't you want a signature from Kobe?"

"Kobe is nothing worth mentioning coz I'll be the greatest of all time" Jayson just shrugged his shoulders and said softly: "Next year, I'll be joining the NBA draft so one day I will throw him down with my dunk, break his ankles and shoot a buzzer beater on his face.

Coach Olivia was shocked by Jayson's statement and looks his serious face. She then said: "Okay I get it, let first win the game tonight and you'll be facing UCLA's ace Jordan Farmar.
